Creatine builds up in your body until it reaches an effective level. There are absolutely no timing advantages to taking it before, after, during workouts or bed or whatever.

It's in those all in one formulas as a filler so they can have an extra 'active' ingredient but don't have to include as much expensive protein.

Short answer: Buy a bag of creatine and tub of whey.

After having a bottle of 'tine (thanks Cr33pin for the lingo) in my cupboard for over a year, I finally took a few solid doses of it last week...just mixed some in my shake in the morning.

Then forgot about it.

At lunch I went in and worked out and was all surprised how easily my pull-ups were (doing 8 reps multiple sets vs maybe getting the first set of 8...weighted pull ups). Chest workout was better and easier. Shoulders.

It was only after leaving the gym I remembered about the 'tine. So I'm gonna take it regularly on lifting days.

Lol.

5g a day and 5g post workout works well.

Anything that volumizes the cell is going to have that effect. Water, sodium, carbs, creatine, test.

You know you're properly volumized when you pull the bar off the rack for a press and you feel like your chest and tris already have a pump, and all the fluid just acts like a fucking spring.

I think maintaining cell volumization is key for hypertrophy. It's a signal to the body that the resources to build muscle is there, as is the need.

The biggest difference...again, newbie 'tiner here...was more after I took a few minutes break between sets. After doing 5 sets, I took a break to shoot some hoops, then went back. Normally my muscles would be shot and I'd just rip off a few...nope. It was like I just stepped into the gym fresh.

i don't now what the highest "safe amount" of creatine is, but being an EXTREMELY conservative and cautious person myself, 3g PWO with protein and some fast acting carbs (maize) was PLENTY enough when i was still praying to the god of Brodin in the temple of IRON.

i found NO better non-steroidal supplement though i did NOT look FAR AND WIDE.

1) Olimp offers Creapure as well. Anyone got experience with that? It's cheaper than Allmax.
2) Is powder definitely better than capsules, or does it not really make any difference?

Currently, I am dissolving a (non-Creapure) creatine monohydrate powder in grape juice.

Take Creatine Ethyl Esther HCL (CEE). It's much better than Creatine Monohydrate and a step above Krealkalyn as well. If you are staying in Germany as your flag indicates, order it from Myprotein.

Heavy if you want to take it to the next level, some people call Crystal Meth "Tina." So I will often put on my yellow lab suit and gas mask, drive my RV into the desert and work in on my new Heisenberg blends. By mixing 'tine with Pre workout and caffeine pills I have developed a new formula called Tina. You will feel like ripping off someone's head but I warn you the dehydration cramps afterwards will make you feel like you are menstruating

A professor of mine in my Exercise Science program did his dissertation on Creatine supplementation and he told the class that there is no reason to stop taking creatine once you start taking it. Obviously, if you are sedentary and eat unhealthy then you probably are just wasting money but if you are active every day and conscious about what you put into your body then creatine can be a staple in your daily life. Not only does it have a tremendous effect on intra-workout energy/muscle recovery, it is vital for brain function.

Just as your brain is the most energy demanding organ to use glucose for energy, it also benefits from having creatine supplemented because of the speed/frequency at which neurons fire. If more creatine is present then the greater the ability for the brain to bind ADP- to the supplemented phosphocreatine to form ATP. Therefore, supplementing creatine can make your brain work more efficiently, increasing memory and boosting intelligence and cognition.

Reporting back in after 3 months of creatine use. Have been taking 3g a day 6 times a week since I made the post.

Things to note:

I look bigger even though for some reason I have dropped about 3lbs since starting to supplement creatine. There's something to be said for this.

I recall reading a study done on vegan and vegetarian diets on brain performance. They noted that they were heavily deficient in blood serum creatine. By supplementing creatine into their diets, the vegans and vegetarians were able to increase their intelligence by scoring better on some tests.

Obviously, the best sources of creatine come from... meats.

So in closing, people who don't eat meat are idiots literally!
