Data Sheet: Madison, Wisconsin

I went to Madison and would say you should check it out on a pit stop from Chicago to Minneapolis (Personal Favorite). Early fall and late spring are usually good to game. Summer is dead but has a nice chill vibe to it. This was the training ground for my game, I had a new option every month, plenty of fuck-ups with them on the way. For players of this forums caliber, you shouldn't worry too much. People don't day game and you will be an apex predator.
Daygame :
Libraries are all good and free to public during daytime. College and Business have the best prospects. Evenings from 4-10 are best. Try the Discovery Centre, Union South and Memorial Union, lots of them study there during the afternoons. State Street is great for day game, I'd also recommend just walking anywhere on University Street during daytime. Lucky Square, ask anyone to point you there is a much better spot since it is between 5 dorms.
Some spots between the social sciences, math, language and integrated sciences building with heavy traffic in the afternoons. Bascom Hill is another prime spot due to many buildings on the hill - Smoke a cigar and enjoy the view on a summer eve. Most large classes are walk-in, humanities, communications, agriculture, languages and social sciences have nice crowds. You can sit in on a class, it's fun learning something new while gaming. I recommend going in the first week and "trying" classes to find options. Yoga classes in Lucky are also great for pulling.
There are many career fairs in the fall, for any college nationwide, check these out. Most of the juniors and seniors go out to have a drink with employers afterwards. Older guys can use the employer card. Modelling agency game isn't as great (I tried setting up one via CL) but DJ game pulls. If you can crack the athlete parties, it's HB 8+ quality with a 2:1 ratio. For insta-dates, prime spots to see are the Overture Center, Capitol Building and Chazen. In summer, hit the terrace, you need to see the sunset over a cold brew while having a smoke, it's picturesque.Lots of good cheap eats, my recommendations are Med Cafe, Sunroom or Marigolds (Sunday Brunch). In summer, rent a canoe or go walk the Lakeshore path.
Nightlife :
There are 83 bars in the city and about 50% would be within a 10 block radius of the Capital. The scene is older as you get closer to the capitol. I hit the bars consistently 4 nights a week, going up to 7 nights senior year. I recommend Thursday nights at the bars since it's usually a good time with better ratios compared to Saturdays. I also would say check out the smaller bars, they are less crowded but you can easily cover 10 bars in 4 hours. I liked Piano Bar for taking my dates, pretty classy joint.
Capitol Bars are Old Fashioned, Great Dane, Madison's and Brocach. All have decent selections of drinks and professional women. Thursday's and Saturdays are good. Avoid Cardinal and Club 5 since they are gay bars but I hear you can pull on Thursday nights from bachelorette parties. You can go suited up to the younger bars, I rolled many times with a crew and can tell you it gets quite the few looks. I'd say if you wear business casual you are better than 99% of guys there. Younger cats, V-necks and Jeans. For suits, you better have a tight story line - most older guys look out of place and I haven't seen them pull; I'm sure some guys here could prove me wrong on that one.
Campus bars have a scene based on specials, that's the crowd, main bars are Vintage, Brothers, Chasers, Wandos, Kollege Club, Madhatters, Johnny Os and Plaza (Hipsters). The rule for these places is Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. All are in a 5 minute walking radius. Vintage has a more young professional vibe. Brothers, Johnny Os and Wandos have the large groups. Avoid Whiskey River, usually a sausage fest. Brats, Madhatters and KK have greek kids. Trolling outside bars works, many girls don't smoke though so you can be more direct. Late night game at food places Ians, Fat Sandwich, Los Gemelos or Qdoba works decent.
House parties for guys under 23, you can walk straight in, pay 5 bucks and they are cool. Most don't screen, if you want VIP access, take a $5 of Andre and some phillies. You can open and talk to groups on the street, most are friendly. Basset and Mifflin are safe bets as well as the buildings at the end of university. Most house parties happen around late summer and I hear cops are cracking down now. Mifflin and Halloween are great shit-shows if you want to get plastered. Lot's of under-agers though so play it safe. Very easy to pull at house parties on Halloween and I recommend Breeze Terrace near the stadium. Check out football games if you can, great fun and lots of tail. You can walk into any tailgate and find some decent talent.
