Willy (Williamson) Street is often mentioned in discussions of Madison, but the talent level is sorely lacking, as it is where the old lesbians and hippie types hang out.

State St. during the day, even when school is out, seems to be good for street game.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. I was just there a couple days ago. I felt like an apex predator in the wild.

I'm planning on adding to this during the fall/winter months. Most of my happenings here in the past two years have been in the spring/summer months in warmer weather. Going to make a point to get up there during the college semester on the bigger party weekends.

Also, I'm going to take a more observant approach so I can add better tips. Most of what I do has been completely on the fly so during the visits I haven't put much thought into remembering a lot of specifics. The boozing and partying leaves it a bit hazy too.

This dude that i met here in DR, is telling me that he slept with over 6000 women and he got laid the most in wisconsin. He is telling me to visit that city so i can understand what he is talking about.

I went to Madison and would say you should check it out on a pit stop from Chicago to Minneapolis (Personal Favorite). Early fall and late spring are usually good to game. Summer is dead but has a nice chill vibe to it. This was the training ground for my game, I had a new option every month, plenty of fuck-ups with them on the way. For players of this forums caliber, you shouldn't worry too much. People don't day game and you will be an apex predator.

Daygame :

Libraries are all good and free to public during daytime. College and Business have the best prospects. Evenings from 4-10 are best. Try the Discovery Centre, Union South and Memorial Union, lots of them study there during the afternoons. State Street is great for day game, I'd also recommend just walking anywhere on University Street during daytime. Lucky Square, ask anyone to point you there is a much better spot since it is between 5 dorms.

Some spots between the social sciences, math, language and integrated sciences building with heavy traffic in the afternoons. Bascom Hill is another prime spot due to many buildings on the hill - Smoke a cigar and enjoy the view on a summer eve. Most large classes are walk-in, humanities, communications, agriculture, languages and social sciences have nice crowds. You can sit in on a class, it's fun learning something new while gaming. I recommend going in the first week and "trying" classes to find options. Yoga classes in Lucky are also great for pulling.

There are many career fairs in the fall, for any college nationwide, check these out. Most of the juniors and seniors go out to have a drink with employers afterwards. Older guys can use the employer card. Modelling agency game isn't as great (I tried setting up one via CL) but DJ game pulls. If you can crack the athlete parties, it's HB 8+ quality with a 2:1 ratio. For insta-dates, prime spots to see are the Overture Center, Capitol Building and Chazen. In summer, hit the terrace, you need to see the sunset over a cold brew while having a smoke, it's picturesque.Lots of good cheap eats, my recommendations are Med Cafe, Sunroom or Marigolds (Sunday Brunch). In summer, rent a canoe or go walk the Lakeshore path.

Nightlife :

There are 83 bars in the city and about 50% would be within a 10 block radius of the Capital. The scene is older as you get closer to the capitol. I hit the bars consistently 4 nights a week, going up to 7 nights senior year. I recommend Thursday nights at the bars since it's usually a good time with better ratios compared to Saturdays. I also would say check out the smaller bars, they are less crowded but you can easily cover 10 bars in 4 hours. I liked Piano Bar for taking my dates, pretty classy joint.

Capitol Bars are Old Fashioned, Great Dane, Madison's and Brocach. All have decent selections of drinks and professional women. Thursday's and Saturdays are good. Avoid Cardinal and Club 5 since they are gay bars but I hear you can pull on Thursday nights from bachelorette parties. You can go suited up to the younger bars, I rolled many times with a crew and can tell you it gets quite the few looks. I'd say if you wear business casual you are better than 99% of guys there. Younger cats, V-necks and Jeans. For suits, you better have a tight story line - most older guys look out of place and I haven't seen them pull; I'm sure some guys here could prove me wrong on that one.

Campus bars have a scene based on specials, that's the crowd, main bars are Vintage, Brothers, Chasers, Wandos, Kollege Club, Madhatters, Johnny Os and Plaza (Hipsters). The rule for these places is Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. All are in a 5 minute walking radius. Vintage has a more young professional vibe. Brothers, Johnny Os and Wandos have the large groups. Avoid Whiskey River, usually a sausage fest. Brats, Madhatters and KK have greek kids. Trolling outside bars works, many girls don't smoke though so you can be more direct. Late night game at food places Ians, Fat Sandwich, Los Gemelos or Qdoba works decent.

House parties for guys under 23, you can walk straight in, pay 5 bucks and they are cool. Most don't screen, if you want VIP access, take a $5 of Andre and some phillies. You can open and talk to groups on the street, most are friendly. Basset and Mifflin are safe bets as well as the buildings at the end of university. Most house parties happen around late summer and I hear cops are cracking down now. Mifflin and Halloween are great shit-shows if you want to get plastered. Lot's of under-agers though so play it safe. Very easy to pull at house parties on Halloween and I recommend Breeze Terrace near the stadium. Check out football games if you can, great fun and lots of tail. You can walk into any tailgate and find some decent talent.

I don't know if it's "that easy." I suspect that guys around here suck ass at being direct at all, which is usually the angle I try to play up. I get told a lot that I am very forward (in a positive way.) I doubt I'm that forward outside of the Midwest.

It is due to the indirectness of most mid-westerners. You can do elderly style approaches with little consequence; direct works too but sometimes it has blow-backs. Before assimilating, I would go direct, you can have a decent rate of success as most girls aren't opened.

Even trolling at night is advantageous because most women aren't hit on. Eventually you'd rather have a social circle and bounce around though, it's a very tight knit community and I knew a kid who'd harvest by plying through multiple groups. Funnily enough, he was a brown kid who pulled some HB7+ blondes.

Cyclone -- I'd be down for checking out Madison around the May 4 thing (or whenever the weather is warm).

I'm 37 now, but pass for younger. That could be a problem, but it sounds like there's zero competition.

The spring student party will no longer be a city permitted event," reads one of the letters. "The nuisance house parties on Mifflin Street, with the rampant over-consumption of alcohol and the attendant safety issues will no longer be tolerated by the city of Madison."

Police again outlined fines for violations including underage drinking ($177), open intoxicants ($303) and selling alcohol without a permit ($681).

One difference from last year: police discontinued the Resident Protection Plan under which residents agreed to follow rules on underage drinking, capacity and not selling alcohol. Verveer said that's because police don't want to be seen as even acknowledging the event.

Think cops will be out trying to prove a point?

Just saw this

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW FOR IT'S GLOW TIME?
1.) Bring your Neon! Dressing up is encouraged - neon colors or light colors that will react with black lights are recommended. There are lots of fun glow accessories available; we will provide glow stick glasses and necklaces with your race packet, but we'll have other accessories for sale at the race site both before and after the race.

2.) Bring your ID! Alcohol will be available at It's Glow Time races if permitting allows it. For the Madison event, Capital Brewery Beer will be available, but you must be able to show you are legally old enough to drink in order to be served.

Our 2013 event in Madison, WI will be held on May 11th at Willow Island next to the Alliant Energy Center

Can you easily move from venue to dowtown hotel? Or should you get a hotel on the grounds

There has been quite a bit about the Mifflin St. block party in the news the past several months as the mayor and police are basically trying to shut it down.

I don't think I would make a trip to Madtown for it.

Halloween on State St. has been toned down quite a bit too from years past as things were getting out of hand. Cars burned, store windows broken, people fucking on statues, etc.
