T-Mobile - you can carry your service internationally. Unlimited Text and internet as if you were in the USA. Calls cost only cost 20 cents a minutes.
Comes out cheaper for you than the local SIM.
The girls will be using whatsap anyway.

I went to Telcel and got a Sim card with credit for $10. I just reloaded it today for approximately $14 (200 pesos). This gets me 200 minutes talk / text, 200mb data and unlimited facebook and whatsapp for a month. All in, we are talking not much more than $20 to be up and running with everything you can possibly need. NOBODY uses texts here. Whatsapp = texting in the US.

Both cities seem like happy hunting grounds to me, except for the fact perhaps that girls in Mexico are a little conservative it seems. But if you are there long enough, or have the right angle, plenty of hotties. Guadalajara probably has a small edge as far as definitely you will see single hot girls without looking too hard.

I've been here a week now. My thoughts so far:

1. There's plenty of attractive girls- I say this even thought the part of town I live in is not really full of them. I've been to a house party, matched a few Tinder girls, and met a cute cousin of a friend's girl, so the options are out here.

2. Girls are flighty as fuck- I'm having trouble keeping communication with girls at the moment. My spanish is pretty decent, so its not that. I will be talking with a girl on facebook or text, and then suddenly she'll stop replying for hours, or never again. Very fucking annoying.

I'm really not sure if he's trolling, but if his complaint about Peru is that it is too difficult, then things will onky get worse in Guadalajara. If his complaint is that he doesn't like the talent in Peru, than both Colombia and Costa Rica are better choiced are better than Guadalajara and both are easier than Guadalajara.

It is harder out here than I expected. Coming from Montreal and the Philippines last year, overall girls out here seem more conservative and harder to pin down. It's only been one month though, and I haven't gone out too much, mostly just slowly expanding my social circle.

Tinder seems like a monumental waste of time out here. I've gotten one date off it, and it was awful. 2 mistakes I made though:
1. Going on a date with an underwhelming girl- I wasn't that excited about the date to begin with, she wasn't ugly, but not a knockout, just one step above plain jane with a banana shaped body.
2. Weak game input- basically correlated to #1, I couldn't be fussed to put in the effort on the date.

Also, is it normal out here for girls to go meet up with their friends after the date? I had Tinder date tell me about 15 minutes in that she was meeting her friends at 11, this was at 8:30. I didn't show it, but that pissed me off. On top of that she was extremely conservative, no kiss allowed at end of date= no call back from me.

You're in a place that has decent talent and a lot of culture, but is unfortunately one of the more difficult cities in Latin America. As far as I can tell, Guadalajara is about social circle, daygame, online game, and nightgame, in that order. If you are stuck there, focus on building your social circle while doing daygame and online game. If you can leave, you might want to try Playa del Carmen, D.F., Culiacan, or Mazatlan.

Unless you're very good-looking or muscular I'd consider Guadalajara harder than even a lot of cities in the U.S.
very little to no Exotic factor for being American. Not sure what your background is but there is a subconscious skin color thing here too, it's really just a lot like L.A., just difficult b/c it's on the higher-end , people have money and are in good shape/good looking so you need social status,

VERY Social Circle based is right, you might get eye-f'd by a girl, exchange numbers, talk dirty with a girl
but still she won't date you unless you have serious social proof, and that's aside from money or social proof like your job,
The girl's 18 year old guy friend who is popular among his friends at UDG will look better in her eyes.

and don't even bother with online game...I"m here now. it's changed , something is changing /has changed in GDL and it's become more conservative than a few years back, girls are downright scared. Tons of government warnings, you can't buy simple medicines, the banks are shutting down debit card use on the internet. TD Bank for example now blocks all ATM transactions in Mexico, this happened only about 2 months ago. Banamex no longer allows the use of their Saldazo cards online. There are police everywhere these days. This stuff translates over to the social interactions too.

So far my best luck has been day game in the centro or in zapopan, bus stops, normal interactions day to day,
some night game, and in the end it's going to be a Huge Numbers game IMHO, the majority of hot chicks have boyfriends and very few cheat, lastly go Young, girls over the age of 22 or 23 start to have a negative attitude and feel empowered sometimes, like late 20's to early 30's in the U.S. 18 to 21 seems to be the sweet spot here even if you're in your 30's or higher,

Approach, approach, approach, be ready for rejection, and hand out your number if you don't get a vibe,
Can't tell you how many times that worked for me and I got a text later,
If you can get 1 date from 5 numbers/interactions that you do on a 2 to 3 hour day game set,
