Ball ain't even dropped and the county has made 20 arrests for dui's. This is why I stay at home.

I was fully anticipating staying in last night (it's 2:15 PM now where I am) after cancelling my plans with about five attractive young women on account of a head cold.

Got home from work about 4:30PM, played in a computer game in bed for a few hours and by 7:30PM I was feeling awesome, so I motorbiked 5 km in the cold to the local club and waited 40 minutes for a single seat at a Texas BBQ bar. After a late dinner, I did Fireball shots till 11:30PM and then assembled with a crowd of hundreds in an open square.

With minutes to spare, I made friends with a couple young Chinese guys who offered me a can of diet coke and were grinning ear to ear in excitement about all the women in the area who "had already lost their virginity."

I took the two college freshmen to a bar after the ball dropped and bought them both a beer. Thirsty men need to drink.

Screw staying home.

I read until 10pm then gone to bed. Slept like a baby, I feel refreshed and ready to take on 2015

You are absolutely right and your response is perfectly reasonable, as doing anything on a particular date "just because" doesn't make much sense unless you enjoy the experience.

However, oddly enough, I had a lot of fun and was glad I went out, even though I ended up getting a lousy night of sleep as a result.

Least year was lame, as I worked patrol till midnight and then went and got a quick drink with a friend after work.

However, the year before, I went to a club heavily suited up with a date on each arm and got a massive amount of attention from the other ladies at the club, including one lizard who took off her engagement ring pretty much right in front of her fiancé and suggested that she and I take a trip to the can to bang right there and then.

The year before that, I threw a house party with 70+ guests. After that fun ended, my main group and I after-partied and I got into a 45 minute make-out session at the club, which was a huge deal for me at the time because I had never done anything like that before in my life. In fact, that night propelled me further into dedication to game than any other individual experience.

But as it turns out, I had an absolutely blast last night. While it lacked the excitement of other experiences, going out solo for the evening was exactly what I needed. No pressure to entertain or impress others. Just lost in my thoughts and drinking my favour brand of whiskey shots. Spending some money buying a drink from some cool guys who probably never get any attention from the ladies or anyone as cool as a white, blue-eyed foreigner a decade older than them.

For me, it was the perfect New Year's Eve.

But there's no shame in staying and getting a good night's sleep beginning at 10PM, because any day of the year can be whatever you want it to be when you are a man.

Got that hot 21 year old Mandy coming over. I just hope I don't fall awww beforehand

I might never leave this under 18-22 age bracket


Other than that I spent my NYE at a house party. We drank, argued about sports and women, played some Mortal Kombat while the girls made us food.

I went out at 1am to a club but the quality was BEAT and mostly couples. I went back out and did a street approach on a pair of pretty girls (early 20's). They were down. I spent more than I wanted, but there were cover charges and to isolate the girls I played the "let's have fun and drink" angle. Otherwise I can't complain much for the low effort.

I contrast this night to Tinder and the relatively large amount of work I have to put in just to get solid leads. Day/night game is so much more superior for me. Money is not a concern in building leads like when I was younger.

I went out because I've not been out on NYE that much. However it, along with going out is wearing thin. I have an easier time on Tinder for things I want from going out for it to matter.

However I did notice some things. The city I was in didn't look that packed. I remember last year it was busy but this year was less activity. There must be a lot of house parties going on and private venues organising better things to do than going [insert bar/club] and dance to chart music and expensive alchohol.

I had fun but its served its purpose for me now.

I have stayed in for many a NYE but decided to take my regular bang out dancing. Cost me $40 in total - mad up some BS about not doing dinner ( too much at Christmas) - while we're out got an IOI from another babe that I met previously. Made the mistake of going out with two Amigos to venue we'd had been told was going to be a good one, so we suited up and went...Nope it wasn't. Got there at 10:00, all middle aged couples and a variety of female dirigibles of varying tonnage held together by spandex and wire, had one drink and left at 10:45. We went back to one of the Amigos house's, cooked up some wings, shoot the shit and watched movies until 3:00am...Next year a bang up house party for sure.

Ate dinner at cheap restaurant with my regular. Rented a movie. Had 3 drinks at the house. Shot a gun a few times at midnight which got it wet.. Banged her out twice but nice. $35 total cost.

I got the feeling this year Christmas really crept up on a lot of unprepared people, and NYE was average for most.

I did something very similar. Stayed in, then my regular girl showed up at my place about 11.30. She was going to come over after midnight but changed her mind. We started banging 11.50, finished the following year, then had some champagne and went to sleep. Very low key, but I'm glad I didn't go out.

I went to a party at a beach house in Peru. I didn't know anyone there, the guy that invited me was a guy I had met at the club last week for all of 10 minutes. But he was cool and spoke English and liked chasing girls so I got his whatsapp. By the time I left the party this morning you would have think I threw it. Its like a gift, I go out solo and before the night is over I own the venue.

I was making out hard with the hottest 20 year old I have seen in Peru until her best friend and her BF got in some drunk drama fight an the girl I was making out with left.... She had her ex BF come and pick them up, He looked like a super jacked Abercrombie model.. I shook his hand and told him happy new year. Later I met a Russian guy in the street who I talked to because he looked like Roosh... He was cool and down to game women, we went to a club but it was like 4 am by that point and a waste of time. He lives in Moscow and I told him I was going to come crash on his couch and game girls with him this summer. He was all about it and told me all about how Russian and Brazilian women are the hottest and most feminine in the world. That works out nice cause I met a cool ass Brazilian amigo here that I plan on visiting when he goes back to Brazil. Does anyone else do this? Too many drugs, too many women, not enough time

I ended up going to my best friend's house, shooting things, blowing things up and drinking too much. I woke up on a sofabed this morning when a goddamn rooster started crowing his ass off.

I've stayed in for most of my nye's. Decided to do it different this year.

I assembled a dope crew, three of my best friends, all cool cats who are going places in life. Everyone had a date, three of them were fly blondes, 8s, in heels and dresses, none of them weighed more than 120lbs.

It warmed my heart to see a group of beautiful feminine women getting along so well.

My LTR has been bitchy lately and she is out of state visiting her parents, so I took this hot little 19 year old that I pulled from the bar last Sunday night.

I knew it was going to be a good night when she showed up and told me she wasn't wearing any underwear.

Another good memory in the books.

Went out around town on NYE's to see what was going on.

Boston was dead. Ive never seen it this dead in my entire life. I was driving around on a highway at one point, and I was the only car for miles. Like a zombie apocalypse movie, couldn't believe it.

Either:

1. People don't like to go out on NYE anymore
2. People are broke
3. For some reason no one felt like partying because 2015 is a lame number
4. All of the above?

Truly perplexed.

Went to a house party at a brother's place. Drank scotch older than my last girlfriend. Slept on the roof.
