I will most likely be staying in tonight as well. Most of my friends are married or in LTRs and are pretty much staying in or doing nothing. I don't feel like going out and celebrating NYE on my own. Also, on a side note, today is my birthday as well. I might tune in to watch Forney, Quintus, and Aurini's NYE Google Hangout.

I'm chilling at my top girls place. Been really busy with work and school lately so looking to keep it low key tonight.

She's making dinner, popping open a bottle of Moet, and I'm giving her the D tonight.

I'm doing convict conditioning while listening to The Beegees.

Though I am going out later. Some place downtown with no reservation or cover required. I heard there would be molly.

I'll only go out if I sense there are 30 white knights in the club.

Shit is going wrong on my dirt road already. I think someone threw a rock at my roof and my neighbors are freaking out on someone burning out up and down the street.

Part of me wants to stay in like last year, but I might try rolling out solo.

Just set Gangs of New York to record on Bravo. I haven't seen it since it came out thirteen years ago. Damn I'm getting old.

The holidays always put me in a foul mood.
Regardless of date or occasion, be it Christmas, Birthdays, New Year's, national or religious holiday.

I try to tell myself that it's because of the social convention or the logistics or the underlying subtext or whatever but that's just a rationalization.

Truth is, they were all so much better when I was a kid. They used to mean something. I looked forward to them as an special event. And the people around me cared as well. It was infectious.

Now it's all just......lost the magic. Curtains stripped away. Halcyon days that can never be again.
Or maybe I'm just turning in a cynical old bastard.

Either way I'm not having any part of it tonight.
Staying at home, listening to some chill music and catching up on a bit of writing before hitting the ground running on Friday.
Gotta chase up those leads.

Sort of feel the same. The holidays don't really phase me anymore.

Staying in sort of allows me to get my mind right and prepare for a weekend with several new leads. It's taken some work for me to get back to that "I don't give a fuck" attitude, but once tomorrow hits, I plan on making that my main focus through 2015 and beyond.

Worst day of the year to go out...all I get is invites to married friends, lame as hell.

Just made a few phone calls. The evening is confirmed:

No reservation or cover needed, and it's a pretty swanky spot too. I'm gonna be swinging from the chandeliers.

Went out for something to eat, came back and spent the night in practicing mandolin before watching the London fireworks at midnight.

Standard procedure for me.

I'm already starting to see groups of drunk as hell dudes rolling out 10 to 15 deep. They're going to bring their own lame sausage fests to every venue.

I'm going back out but I'm not sure how much tolerance I'll have tonight.

Was out earlier with a friend who I hadn't seen in a while to see American Sniper, which was quite good. Lots of hot girls around but lots of betas too. Not worth the effort IMO. Only real thing to do is either go to a club (sausagefest on a good day, let alone NYE) or hang around in the cold, and girls will have their defenses up regardless.

I'm staying in as usual; I hate Amateur Night. Think I might post a couple more Craigslist personal ads to get some horny girl who is lonely tonight and tomorrow.

I have six first drink dates with online girls set up for Thurs through Sun, so my odds are good of falling ass backwards into the first new pussy of the year. With some effort I might get more than one notch

Actually just set up a drink meeting for the weekend with a girl that I started messaging this afternoon. Probably a nice group of "just moved to town and I don't know anyone" girls online right now. And with any luck, a small group of girls that choose not to go out slutting it up this evening.

I'm glad you called it Amateur Night. Personally I chugged 6oz of Robitussin and I'm jamming out to my Ambient IDM station on Pandora.

I'm heading to a friend's house. Should be a lot of married couples, but good people, and I can crash there.

Good news: Just bringing a bottle of wine, so it won't cost much. Good company. Probably a few single women.

Bad news: The single women will most likely be my age (late 30s), not too attractive, and weird.

Still, all it takes is one who is attractive and willing.

On a side note, I've been here for almost a year now, and my life is certainly better because of it.

Happy new year everyone.

There's a rumor that a new Kanye single is dropping at midnight. If so, I definitely made the right decision by staying in.

I fucked a fuck buddy a bunch of times and bolted because it sounds like she thinks things are getting serious.

my roommate brought her work friend over and the work friend was being refreshingly flirty. trying to get me to come out. she has a really cute face. huge tits and an alright ass but a bit of a muffin top

6/10 will probably bang at a later date

I was going to plan my day / year out but I think I'm just going to go to bed early
