Jasondd: Are you speaking from personal experience ? Germans are not as fluent in English as the Scandinavians or Dutch, but I wouldn't have guessed that Poles speak better English than Germans
P.S.: thinking about about it, there could actually be some truth to it. Germans with low qualifications can still find simple jobs in Germany while many of their Polish counterparts need to leave the country to find work.

There are huge regional differences in Germany. English proficiency is generally much better in the old West Germany compared to the old East Germany.

I'm comparing Berlin versus Wroclaw. Spent about 2 months in Berlin, 7 months in Wroclaw, over the past 2 years.
Please guys dont talk about germany. this thread is about EE, so germany should not be part of the discussion..

Hey guys
Which EE country do you recommend as the one that has the biggest % of people speaking english as a second language and has first class health care with english speaking staff?
I'm planning to live some months in europe and EE seems like a good choice because
women are feminine and the countries are cheaper than western or scandinavian ones, but
as i only speak spanish or english i want to be in a place where any language barriers would be minimized...
I have heard that Poland is pretty good in these aspects , but i would like to hear your opinions as well.
thanks!
I've been getting medical services here in Romania. Way better English than Poland.

Murph_Sauce, just for clarification please. Romanians in general speaks better English than Polish people? Or just the medical field. I imagine you mean Romania in general. Thanks.
Romania is a latin country. I highly doubt that the general population speaks better english than in Poland...

Germans are still top 8 in europe when it comes to talking English proficency.. They are only worse in Average than the 5 Nordic nations(although finland is the weakest one of the bunch), Netherlands and It's comparable to belgium... so germany is either 7 or 8 in terms of english proficency. Germans comfortably beat all the other countries.

Berlin despite being capital city is located in eastern germany... the best germany is in west, particularly northwest... english level is also easily better than in berlin.. Im talking about hamburg, hannover, dusseldorf and their surrounding areas..

The general population and in the hospitals/clinics. I've spent months in both countries and received medical treatment in both. I can say this with absolute certainty.

I just want to re-iterate that it's Estonia. Especially due to the nordic influence from Sweden and Finland, they've become easily the most westernized country in EE, besides Poland maybe. I don't think this is a good thing however.
A lot of girls there nowadays are fatter than their older cousins from 10yrs ago. I don't even ask an Estonian girl anymore if her parents are married, because in 90% of the cases, they come from a divorced family, or she has a stepfather. You don't get that as much in Poland since it's a catholic country where people tend to sick more together. The amount of atheists in Estonia is around 90%+ so there's no social stigma about divorce.
Exceptions however with the russian-parented girls. They are however a group that is extremely hard to get into.
Lithuania has the best middle-ground I think. English is not as good but in any part of life where you might need English, they will speak English. Everyone under 35 speaks it fluently. Corruption on smaller scale is still existent (I've paid off traffic cops and parking attendants there before). However, girls are also more religiously grown and since their income levels are lower, need a man. Provider game works better there, due to the Russian influence and in general these girls are usually more pleasant to be around with. I've had Lithuanian girls pick me up at midnight at the airport in Vilnius, with a homemade cake on their hands, because I jokingly said before the price for me is her delicious cake, which I had eaten before.
