San Francisco vs. Chicago

Deciding between two almost identical job offers that offer similar compensation and upward mobility.
Budget of around $1400/month for rent. I'm down to roommate up, which I'd have to in SF.
I'm a tall, good looking Asian guy with decent game.
I've read the past threads on these two cities, but I know cities can change quickly. I'm turning 21 in a few months and want to live somewhere with good logistics where I can go out consistently year round, daygame and nightgame, and bang a lot of women. I'm down for the 6's and 7's. Quantity > Quality.
I'm into the rave scene which draws me toward SF but I understand the COL is higher in SF as well.
Help me decide - What's the better move?

Not sure where you're from but the climate is a big downside to Chicago. Not that SF has fantastic weather either but at least it's not unbearable to be outside five or six months a year. Chicago is a great city, food, vibe, more down to earth than SF, and it really does come alive in summertime, lots of approachable lizards on the beaches along downtown and northern LSD. Get into volleyball if you move there.

Similar compensation? The cost of living in San Francisco is about 35% higher than in Chicago. That's all things considered - food, transportation, housing, entertainment, etc. If you just look at housing SF is more like 100% more expensive. A friend recently moved there from Chicago and is paying twice the rent for an apartment about 2/3 the size.
In Chicago you can get a very nice, modern 1 bedroom place in a great area for your $1,400 budget. Even less if it's an older place or you share with someone. There's also plenty of activity and nightlife all year round. Yes the winters are cold, but that doesn't mean people don't go out. They do. I don't think you'll find any raves, but there are clubs that play electronic music and all the big name DJs come through Chicago on their tours.
While it's not perfect, Chicago has all the perks of a big city but at a budget price (compared to London, NY, Boston, SF, etc.). Your company should be offering considerably more money for openings in SF, not a similar compensation.

These are my two favorite American cities. I'm from Chicago and love it, but I also love San Francisco. I feel like SF really fits my vibe, but it would take a mighty lucrative job/career opportunity to get me out there given the price tag, especially on Bay Area property. Dollar for dollar, Chicago is the best major city and I also sense that it is a bit better hunting ground than SF. Both are highly diverse with a lot of the ethnic type females that I love, but Chicago has more balanced diversity. San Fran is one of fittest cities, but it's also rife with leftists/feminists. Chicago has great nightlife and great transportation/logistics from downtown to the suburbs. The women are fashionable and fairly open to day game. If you can't get on the board in the Chi, you need a bath and a flee collar.

Chicago is a better move and it isn't even close.
There is more of a drinking/hookup culture in Chicago, at least from my travels there. Day drinking is a culture there, and if girls are drinking watching sports, partying, etc. The girls aren't feminists or super stuck up, they do like to drink, party and hook up. Its a feeding city for all of the girls from midwest colleges. So many sections of the cities to live, especially if you're young and in your 20s. SF might be better if you're in your 40s, a tech millionaire, etc. Even then I think it'd be pushing it. Whenever I go out in SF, the vibe is more dive bars unless I go out in the Marina (which is where I like to hang out there). The places like the Mission, etc are too dirty/divey for my tastes.
$1400 a month for rent is laughable in SF. Sorry, you won't get to live in the city on that budget.
Also, from my travels to SF, the asians there are a dime a dozen, and I'd imagine selected against in terms of nightlife/dating opportunities.
And House music started in Chicago. You won't have a shortage of options there for sure for electronic music and stuff like that.
The only thing that will suck is the freezing cold winters. But you'll be able to live in the city so who cares. Summers there are great with music festivals, the lake, and people everywhere (although it does get hot).
Live in Wrigleyville or Old Town and you'll be swimmin' in women.

Chicago in my opinion is the BEST value city in the US for money and women put together. I can't think of another city that is close in terms of value proposition.
The only way I say S.F. is if you are in tech or finance and looking to network to get in on some huge $. If you don't have those aspirations it is Chicago hands down.
SF serves no purpose in Game except chasing a huge payday.
On this board the 3 worst major cities for game in NA are in this order:
1) Toronto
2) DC
3) SF

If I moved back to the states I think my top choice would be Chicago, despite it being probably the only large U.S. city that I haven't visited. I love NYC, but with Chicago I feel like you get the huge-city feel with touches of affordable luxury (better apartment, possibility to have a car). I also don't mind cold ass winters, obviously.
I have visited SF and I would say I'd never live there personally unless I was some balling tech-worker. Overpriced, weird weather (it was freezing in July-???), and the progressiveness and police-state attributes of California in general would be deal breakers.

I live in Chicago in Old Town. If you're rent budget is $1400/month then you have to come here not SF. I split a high-end condo with my roommate for under 1400/month per person right now. I can walk to any of the bars on wells st. or go downtown to the river north clubs in 5 minutes. Winters suck but that's why logistics are king.

OP, you didn't mention one critical piece of info: your preference. Do you prefer asian girls, white girls, Latina girls, black girls? Etc?
I'm from San Francisco but live in da Chi for a few months last year. Without question, the cutest and best dressed white girls I've ever seen were in Chicago. Plus they take public transportation more often which is good for us daygamers. Now if you like the asian persuasion, gonna have to give that to the Bay Area although you're not gonna find the really feminine stylish dressed in heels kind (my preference) aka Japanese or Kpop fashion, unless maybe in a club or they're a foreign student in Union Square. This is what surprised me about Chicago as the girls had more style on the streets.
I would also politely disagree with the other poster about moving to Oakland. At least in my circle of friends, there's kind of a joke in how people who live outside of SF will travel in to party but forget the opposite. If you live in SF, you won't travel out. Also as much as I think Oakland by the lake is cool, some of my friends who have lived there forever have told me the crime/shootings have gotten worse, not just in East Oakland but everywhere. In Chicago, I lived near millenium park and always felt safe.
My conclusion, if you like cute white girls, try Chicago. If you decide to try San Francisco, plan on telecommuting after a year because compared to NYC, LA and especially Asia, it's a sausagefest bro.

Bro, like I said, I POLITELY DISAGREED. no Shit but if you wanna go there, the rent I paid to Live in millenium park was pretty comparable to rent I'd find near the lake, maybe a few hundred dollars more but not much. He's a daygamer like me and having pulled instafucks myself, having an fspot close to your hunting grounds is key, not having a moped or motorbike. Lastly, there aren't any hot chicks in Oakland man. Unless you like hipster chicks with tattoos. For the record, I dig Oakland, I used to practice there for years with my old band (in ghost town) but for hot pussy, it sucks.

Upsides:
Chicago = A lot of hot young women
Friends who've moved there have loved it.
True, not terribly expensive for a big city
Awesome downtown
Downside:
It's cold in the winter
A not-so-far favorite city for me.

Okay, first the disclaimer.... I just got back from Medellin and am from Chicago. I am here in San Francisco for the weekend for work, I must say it sucks ass. I went to a nice club (Fusion) and the ratio was awful, 70% guys. This is probably one of the worst cities in the USA after DC. Let me know if I am wrong and there are good places to go in SF.
Anyways, Medellin is much better and don't waste your time here.

Chicago no question, for all of the reasons listed already. In addition, the vibe in Chicago is tenfold better than San Francisco.

SF - Less money and less woman, meh weather. Plus a roommate.. not for me. My friends in SF are either struggling and miserable making a middle class income. My friends enjoying SF are making mid 6 figures and above.
CHI - better lifestyle and lots of loose sexy midwestern white girls and latinas. My friends in CHI have it good on $100K.
I think this boils down to the job. What job is better for you?

Go to the city that has a bigger population (Chicago).
San Francisco is the Boston of the west coast. Snotty, libtards, lots of humanities degrees, and bicyclists (weather is better in CA).
Weather may suck in Chicago , but logistics are what mitigate that. Your money will go farther in Chicago.
