How hairy are Japanese girls around their jade temple these days? Do they groom?
There has been a definite move towards grooming, especially among the younger, more fashionable types. You can thank Paris Hilton and other celebs for that.
When I first arrived in 2005 it was 100% bush. Now it's increasingly rare that I sleep with a girl who doesn't at least trim. It has nothing to do with whether they are prostitutes or not. It's just fashion.

I now get why I couldn't find it in the dictionary: it's 風俗嬢 fuu-zoku-jo'U, not 風俗女fuu-zoku-jo. No wonder nothing popped up.
I guess the girl who told me that didn't know what she was talking about. I was surprised to hear that nearly all Japanese guys visit prostitutes (if indeed that is true).

I'd wager that 90% have been at least once. Prostitution was legal in Japan for centuries until the Americans enforced their puritan views after the invasion. So you are dealing with a totally different culture with little shame about this kind of activity.
Some ex-colleagues of mine took a weekend trip to Korea. They undertook in no tourism whatsoever. Just went to brothels and came back.
I've had clients openly invite me to brothels...in front of my female colleagues. Only in Japan!

Why go to Korea for prostitutes? Kind of far, isn't it?

It's cheaper. There are entire brothels in Seoul just for the Japanese.

@Felix88. Yeah... It's actually one of the more depressing aspects of the country, in my opinion. One girl I know, one of the sweetest most innocent-looking girls you'd ever hope to meet, got gangbanged for cash by 3 random businessmen after a night out with her friends. Another girl I know worked deriheru (basically a call girl service) for a while in college so she could buy a Louis Vuitton bag and sunglasses. Another girl I know very well starred in a handful of films so she could look for a husband without having to do a part-time job (she found one, they had a baby, and now they never fuck despite her having the awesomest rack ever). I understand the Japanese operate on different principles than we do, but that's all kinds of fucked up. I feel sorry for the dude who ends up with a girl like that. I guess you could argue that this kind of Japanese girl is no worse than a cock-carousel-riding woman of the West, but I'd much prefer the latter.

I don't really see that as fucked up actually, Japan's attitude toward sex and prostitution may appear strange to American but from Japanese point of view, America's attitude is the strange one. Japanese culture value youth and cuteness so it's normal to me.

I donno. Getting pussy with straight money (and pussy that's been tapped hundreds or thousands of times by dudes who would otherwise be unfit, at that) rather than working for it is weird to me. It just seems like a cheap shortcut for all parties. It's like using steroids, or shorting a stock with inside info, or plagiary. It's unsporting.

It's business as usual, I don't know about unsporting, I've seen successful guys who don't lack pussies go to soaplands to get washed.

I've said it before, but I don't really care if other people do it. It's neutral as far as I'm concerned.
I only think it would be unsporting if someone were to start paying hookers and including them in his notchcount, pretending as though it were an actual accomplishment.

The Japanese guy I roll with actively targets fuuzokujou because the "hottest ones" have shit tons of money. They can take down some serious money just in one day. Usually he gets these girls to pay for his car, watches, trips overseas, etc. I've met his girlfriends and was total unreal the lives they live. They are hot and kinda fucked in the head.
i've also seen drunk businessmen try to take their cute coworkers to the hotel after their "nomikai" so it's not far of a stretch that she got banged by some random ones, they probably couldn't get their cute coworkers.
Only when shit faced do these business men have the ability to talk to random girls on the street, and do drunk nanpa. same for regular j-dudes.

Most girls don't telling people about those things, I guess she's a rare case.
I'm thinking of gaming some rich girls myself.

But the real point is that literally the majority of hot girls in Japan have done some form of fuuzoku or P4P. I read stats somewhere that showed in cold figures that about 10% of girls in their 20s have been in the industry, and that wouldn't count girls like in Skotch's case who have done paid sessions privately here and there. Still common among high school girls.

yea, i cant imagine being a hot young tokyo girl. basically these girls get hit on all the time by scouts, nanpa, catchers (fuuzoku scouts), and guys like me.
But out in the country it's also common but, girls are more normal. I've met several hot girls who say they hate Tokyo.

Missed my last train back home. Stuck here in Shinsaibashi for the next three hours. Sitting here at the Starbucks, I'm always amazed how mind-bogglingly air-headed, materialistic, superficial and just plain DUMB most of the girls walking around Namba can be.
I wouldn't doubt for a second that half of the type of girls who frequent this part of town wouldn't hesitate to do a gangbang session with 70-year-old men in exchange for a brand new Gucci bag.

It is quite remarkable, I think many of us had this sort of classical image of the mature, sacrificial and pure japanese women, as idealized by this concept:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamato_nadeshiko
However it does seem they are turning into the total opposite.
"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."
- Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen
