Lana del Ray commented about the article?!

Shit, celebrities are starting to get a look at us.

Roosh, you've started a cultural revolution.

We will also have a real-time measure of success on this article; I wonder if she will cut her hair in the next ten years?

Really? That's definitely getting into big territory.

Ever watched Next Top Model?

When they cut a woman's hair short, the others all SCREAM!

Says it all really

The American version ruined a girl who used to compete in beauty pageants.

No she didn't. That's a Lana del Rey tribute account, not the actual chick.

Mildly annoyed by some of the comments in that misc. thread comparing RoK to Jezebel. There are some huge differences...

That's the irony. They all fucking love Richard Dawkins until they realise that the same biology and science he uses to debunk religion also debunks all their stupid gender theories.

Well and makeup, sleep and photoshop, but I agree long hair is better!

Though, since they have little concern for consistency nor any real intellectual curiosity, this sort of thing rarely poses a problem for them.

Feminist atheists a la Rebecca Watson are the WORST atheists. Their disbelief boils down to not seeing a female pastor/minister preaching while they had to show up to Church on Sundays.

What's interesting about this viral episode is that we did not get a plug from any large blog. Not one. They purposefully blacklisted us, but as you can see, that didn't stop the ROK train. Surely we got less hits from not getting on Buzzfeed or Huffington Post, but we really don't need them to spread our message. Fuck 'em.

They're like children. The teachers (other blogs) are telling the kids to not let the bully's teasing affect them.

However, it always gets under their skin [Image: banana.gif]

This also indirectly proves that they are FAR more coordinated than they would have folks believe.

Grassroots my ass. I wouldn't be surprised that they have secret mailing lists run by the elite few.

And yet Brandon Wade, the owner of Seeking Arrangement, is on HuffPo quite often with articles pushing his site that many might say devalue women.

Go figure.

I noticed that, and I've been waiting for one of the bigboys to pick up the story.

But remember, it took some time last time for Jezebel to give in and blast RoK. But the wave of anger grew to such heights that even they couldn't resist.

Give it time. I think the level of public outrage will reach a crescendo and they won't be able to help themselves.

Think of RoK as a celebrity. There's only so much saturation the market can take. I'm sure Paris Hilton is doing scandalous shit every day, but if the tabloids don't pace themselves then their articles lose effectiveness.

If RoK continues along this path, they'll have no choice but to join in the orgy of drama.

...aaaaand another repeat performance as last time:

The article went from 3000 to 4000 comments really quickly. That means there are 1000 women who saw that there were 3000 comments, and STILL thought that it was imperative that they comment or that they could bring something unique to the table.

Obviously this is true.

However, it's worth considering that Disqus sort of facilitates these little "chat bubbles" where a few people can argue with each other and nobody else sees it since it's off the front page. Responses all get sent over email or in "my discus" so it doesn't feel as much as if your voice is being lost in the din. Some of the additional comments are probably just responses to earlier comments.
