I wonder if he managed to fuck her during filming?

This pretty much says a lot why the movie did not tank and is not bad.

Gal Gadot pulls off the strong, but feminine vibe easily enough. Her lover died, but he would have died anyway due to her being immortal and he being a WWI pilot.

Actually they revved back a lot of feminist angles.

There are only a few propaganda points left like the Muslim man complaining that he could not become an actor in France of 1910 or the Indian guy complaining that white men had conquered his country. They had to put in those diversity points.

But all in all - they did not make it out to be as male-bashing as it could have been. Also they learned from Cuntbusters that putting up 3 post-wall women and a lesbian up and then telling men to like it or else - that this would not work.

The Amazonian utopia was of course mythical - only magic could produce such a female-only society.

That is why the movie will do well enough. And the feminists do not overly like it:

http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/201...it_is.html

Piece of shit feminist writer thinks that Gal Gadot is too hot for it - should have picked a butch average one like in the Cuntbusters.

But then we would be looking at a 100 mio. $ loss again.

Another bitch who hates that she is hot.

Some of the Wonder Woman hullaballoo comes from the fact that such a hugely successful film was directed by a woman, which is nice. Much of the hullaballoo, however, comes from the assertion that Wonder Woman will empower women and encourage the positive “representation” of women that is supposedly so rare in Hollywood. It achieves this “representation,” apparently, by featuring a gorgeous woman clad in metal lingerie who effortlessly deflects bullets with her bracelets and eventually upends a giant tank. This, we are to assume, will immediately inspire millions of little girls across America to rush home and launch their own neighborhood STEM-research teams.

As a side note - Wonder Woman seems to be stationed in current day Paris now - plenty of Devout Muslim bashing she will have there.

Seems to be an average attitude for females in US nowadays. She deserved what she was looking for though.

Of course he did. When you spend 6 months working together on a project, six days a week, 12 hours a day, things "just happen". Too bad she has a husband and two kids, though.

I'm definitely going to see this movie. The entire "born to be offended" crowd is angry that "it's a good movie but not political enough", so it's strongly implied that the producers did something right.

I get the feeling Gadot is one of those rare good bitches that is actually loyal to her man. Truly a wonder woman haha

I doubt it. Pine is gay, Olivia Munn was his professional beard.

Gal has reportedly turned down Vin Diesel and Paul Walker (both when she was desperate to get work) and Ben Affleck. All rumors of course.

Gal's husband is rich as hell and supporting her dream of acting. Without him, she's just another hot chick in Hollywood sucking dick for an audition for a beer commercial. She's not going to swing to any branches until her career is solid. I'd keep an eye on her after a few more movies. She'll be well into her "We've started to grow apart" phase at that point.

Chris Pine has not one beard, but a whole assortment of beards. If he were gay, then it would be easier to get a stable LTR for show and then fuck his way through gay bars, not get dozens of women to be pictured with, to constantly flirt and move around LA with. That sounds like a lot of work for a gay guy.

Consider this - if you had to feign to be gay it would be easier to pay one likeable dude to hang out with you for photo-ops and then you can spend time with girls and fuck them. If I had to go on multiple dates with a bunch of gay men for years and years I would have to shoot myself after a time. The married Hollywood actors especially when married to a fat frumpy woman - those are more likely gay and have a beard, because then they don't have to hit on girls, go out with girls, fuck women etc.

The rumor goes back to the Olivia Munn days 2009-2010. Just a rumor but it was considered fact following the first Star Trek movie.

Two kids and she looks like she doesn't have an ounce of bodyfat. No wonder some women hate her.

Be interesting to see how it fares in the weeks to come with greater competition.

This weekend has :
The Mummy. Tom Cruise blockbuster.
Megan Leavey. Female centric patriotic / war movie. With dog.

The following weekend has :
Cars 3. Kids movie to distract the kids.
Rough Night. Scarlett Johannson / female centric comedy thing to distract the female audience.

Then longer term, there's Transformers 5(?) & Despicable Me 3 to distract the blockbuster & kid crowd.

I can't wait until Cars 3 comes out.

Fun thing is, the first time I saw her was in a commercial for Rum Captain Morgan.

---------------

I watched the movie, and I have to say was well done, I was expecting more feminism propaganda but there was not such, there is one part when Pine's character says to her "this is not man's land" I at that moment I think to myself "here we go, you go grlllll moment" I was ready for her to say "I am not man" but she says "is what I have to do."

I was sure they will make her some perfect character with not flows, what is known as Mary Sue, but no, she is really ignorant of how the world works and make mistakes, it gives the character more realism.

Even some YT reviewers noticed that.

I think since the Ghostbuster movie fiasco, studios learned feminism BS really ruins your your film.

The shooting of Wonder Woman finished way before Ghostbusters premiered and like a week after the first trailer for Ghosbusters was released. Any chance in Hollywood's approach will only be seen 2-3 years from now.

I saw the movie with low expectations and still left feeling likening was a waste of money. Much to my chagrin, I told a neighbor it wasn't as good as I expected and after he watched it, the guy leans more liberal, he also found it a big disappointment.

Male or female. Script writings have to know by now that origin stories for comic characters have to have something distinct or be presented in a different way to really engage the audience.

Case in point - Black Panther.
That character was an extra element to Avengers Civil War & now with the actual BP movie, they can get underway on telling the most engaging story they can, rather than worry about the exact who, how & where.

Speaking of BP - they butchered that character. He was suckered into a fight that the comic version would have never fallen for. The dude's supposed to be as great a tactician as Batman.

Anyway, it should be fun when the movie gets released:

I saw the movie, it's not bad, there was no grrllll powah moment. In fact there were plenty of moments that would piss off feminists massively, e.g the baby scene where she's distracted and excited by a baby, then her man said "no time for that" and dragged her away (my wife really loved that, it kinda resembles us walking down the streets sometimes). So Wonder Woman is an innocent, fairly feminine, attractive and slender girl who loves babies and believes in love, and she even dares to shave her armpits. That gotta hurt the feminist orcs in the cinema.

The only main complaint I have is the same one I have for pretty much all super hero comic book movies: the villain is weak as piss. Once he's got revealed, I just couldn't take him seriously with that caterpillar on his face.

Not seeing this film since its not my thing and I don't care for female superheroes.

The only wonder woman I would care about is a woman who is wonderful in bed.

And who serves me breakfast the next day. My kind of wonder woman.

Could have done with 20 minutes trimmed off it. This movie must frustrate the hell out of feminists as the female characters are not all invincible Mary Sues like they are used to being served up.

It is vastly better than Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman. If they keep this improvement up with Aquaman and Justice League, then DC fanboys, welcome to what it's like to be a Marvel fanboy at the cinemas.
