Using an alias while gaming women

I might use an alias to suit my crowd. If I am in a majority white affair, I might just use a name like Corey, Cody or Wyatt.

That disarms the lizards like a security patdown.

In a black affair if it's West Indian, I might use Dwayne or Darryl. In an African affair, any name goes except one that points towards Naija. In Toronto, I find it to negate things.

Yes, I even have my alias printed up on business cards. I really should get a photoshopped passport copy to leave lying around as well.

Bitches can snap and go psycho. It's nice to not leave them any ammunition against you. Go let them file a false police report against your alias.

I use a double alias since my real name isn't Neil Skywalker, i also changed my real name on facebook to an different last name for security reasons and i deleted all the Dutch people from my friends list. I use facebook purely for people i met personally while travelling.

I consistently use an alias for most lays, and I almost never bang bitches at my own place. I don't need psycho bitch accusations starting from day-after regrets, and I don't need any "It's your baby" accusations, either.

Damn right I use an alias, the same one that I use here. I have business cards, a cell phone account and a facebook page all untraceable and in this name. When you travel as much as I do, you don't want your past conquests to be able to track you down from across the country especially if you have a girl at home.

A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be.

Ive started telling people my name is markus/marcus

To many people I've met on nights in the city have looked me up on facebook because my name is different
Like I wanna talk have a friendship with a drunk person I met in the bar.

The name I've taken both can pass for a white guy and black guys name.
but also translates to German so its easy enough to pronounce

I am the cock carousel

If you have a bad memory, like I do, you'll forget your alias and look like a dumbass, unless you live it like Mixx does in which case go with it.

Also, if people remember you the way they remember me and you use an alias, you'll get called out if you ever run into people who know you by your "other" name.

Just use your first name and don't give too much away.

None of this is going to help you get the bang and it complicates things way too much.

Keep it simple.

Virtually every country I've been to in the past couple years, including the U.S., I've had women voluntarily mention they avoid Italian guys for the reasons I mentioned above. The love has definitely shifted towards their Spanish counterparts.

I don't envy Italian dudes. Stock is plummeting. Same thing happened to American women's admiration for French men in the past. It faded once they realized it was baseless.

Given Italian men's reputation as sex tourists in Europe, I'm not suprised that their reputation has suffered there.

But, in America? This I find surprising. Have you found this to be the case in multiple regions of the U.S., Luckystar? It makes sense in the Northeast, where guido culture is understandably thought to be tacky, but elsewhere in America? In my experience, SoCal girls, at least the young ones -- <25 or so --- eat it up.

And, are you distinguishing between Italian (dreamy Lothario) and Italian-American (tracksuit-wearing greaseball)?

Sure, their game is terrible, but most American women don't know that. Only the ones who spent serious time there do (i.e. more than 20 minutes on a gondola). Those who have lived there do strongly disdain the men. I spoke of the accent, not the men.

When you're Italian (or probably Spanish, French), even the cheesiest game can work, because "aww, he's so romantic!" If an American guy did it, he'd just be extremely beta. Girls just don't pigeonhole an Italian the way they do an American guy, provided they never lived in the Meditteranean.

I agree with this. College-age girls, who haven't been to Italy, dream of studying abroad there - it fits their fantasy of finding a well-dressed darkly handsome lover whose name isn't Brandon or Justin or Cody.

Do you introduce yourself as Neil Skywalker or just Neil? Pardon my stupidity, but do Dutch people have Anglo surnames? Because if some Dutch guy told me his last name was Skywalker, I would ask if he were adopted or if his Dad is English.

Also, Neil Skywalker sounds too cool for a regular person. They flow together too well. I would think it's an alias. However, the average lizard is dumb like bricks so it works.

I always go by either "Cookie" (my actual nickname) and no last name or Rexford Baynes (not even close to my real identity). Either one always seems to work and I switch based on mood.

I've used Julian. A distinctive name, many cool people named Julian (Assange, Lennon, Casablancas, Richard Gere in "American Gigolo"), also very unusual in Brazil without sounding too foreign, like, say... Don Carlos, hahah!

I've used it 3 or 4 times already. Once or twice I actually said it was my name, which was alright, I guess.
But the other times, I said or insinuated it was a made up name, but that that was the way I wanted them to call me. I encouraged them to develop a "character" for themselves, which they would have to play till the end of the night. Their persona had to be wild and fearless, no-fucks-given sort of a girl.

This allowed them to act crazy and slutty, without them feeling guilty. After all, it wasnt them, right? [Image: banana.gif]

Sometimes I use an anagram of my real name, then if I do want them to know my real name I tell them I was fucking with them and they have to figure out the anagram to know it.

An interesting approach. Do you think it works? In other words, do you think it frees up a more reserved girl to behave more wildly, or do you think that the ones who agreed to play along were more likely to be that way regardless?

I guess my question is along the lines of the standard 'does game really work or are you just selecting for sluts?' question.

Either way, I like it.

I actually have two names, my legal one and one that i'm known by in my profession. The thing is my alias is actually a real name (first and last) but its quite rare that both parts of my life intertwine. My real name is actually quite common unfortunately and people who know my alias just call me by that name.

It's kind of hard to tell because I tried it so few times. But when I tell them that I'm "Julian", I make sure they see me acting wild, careless and, mainly, FUN. Who doesn't want to be like that? I tease them saying they're too square to be like me, that they could never pull it off, or whatever.

At first they might get suspicious and refuse to play along. So I just try to make myself look even more awesome, pointing out how boring she is. I'll be sociable with everyone, dance and drink carelessly (or at least enough to make them think so). That's usually enough to convince them to join me. And everytime she behaves unaccordingly, you remember them of their "persona".

Hopefully I'll be able to try this again soon and report back.

I used Porfirio recently. It has worked well so far. It's Latin, but more exotic and classier sounding than your typical Spanish/Mexican names.

Might be weird if this chick is in my house calling me Porfirio with my roommates around... On the other hand, getting called Porfirio and feeling twice as pimp is priceless.

Just see the post now. Nope, Dutch people have Dutch last names like. Jansen,de Vries, van Dijk,de Jong or perhaps the more internationally known vanderblit, vanderberg, vanhalen.

i have introduced myself a couple of times as Neil Skywalker but only to foreign girls who don't know Star Wars very well. People have asked me if its my real name. I said yes a few times and said it was my real last name.

Yeah, but are these names congruent with you and your image? Are they congruent with your style? If the case is no, then this can end in public failure. I've seen some guys try and do this and get laughed at when they introduced themselves w/ their new alias. Be wise and make sure that the name really fits with who you are.

What he said.

I don't see anyhing wrong with a nickname, but I have to disagree with most of the replies here. A fake name/alias will not get you laid. In fact creating a 'new persona' probably won't do anything either.

I've found that most girls respond positively to being congruent with your personality - not making some shit up as you go along or some cool guy persona you created in your head. They want you for who you are and are constantly observing your behavior. If you have some side personas you are trying to portray it will eventually fall apart and not work.

A kind of epiphany I had when I was new to game was that lying actually hurt my game. Something as seemingly insignificant as telling a girl a different name early on would hurt me later. It is much easier to be yourself and be completely true with your entire game. Work on being confident with yourself and everything about yourself rather than making some bullshit persona up and trying to constantly BE that.

If you would rather introduce yourself with a differnent name, you need to work on core confidence before anything else. I have a name that is perceived as not as cool (weak?) to most chodes. What makes it different when I say my real name is having confidence and being proud of my name WHEN I say it. Like thinking "damn right that's my name" as I say it. And then keeping that same confident attitude about myself the entire interaction - not just the interaction, but always.

Disagree. If you do it right, you won't be worse off. My *real* name is rare and foreign, and it frequently piques their curiosity. A chosen name (i.e. your alias) is a lot more likely to align with who you are then a name your parents chose for you a quarter century ago. Maybe it doesn't make a huge difference in the long run, but anything that makes conversation easier is a plus in my book. If a girl found out I lied, I'd just say something like, "oh you actually took me seriously? huuuuge mistake." Not a big deal.

Besides, if you're at a bar, you're probably trying to get shit started that night or within the first date. My only reservation would be when she calls me by my alias when my roommates are around.

This thread brings this to mind...
