I love coconut oil, and have an abundance of coconuts.

Because of this I bought a huge oil expeller set-up. Its a giant, loud, pain in the ass. The process creates a terrible smell. It kind of looks like this:

If any of you coconut oil lovers want have it for shipping cost ($800 to western us) only send me a message. I have limited instructions, but my neighbor knows how to work it really well. I do have a lot of paperwork from the engineer and electrician that put the power to it.

I'm gonna be putting it on eBay or Craigslist soon.

Aloha!

Whoever buys it needs to make "Roosh-Brand Coconut Oil" and sell at a discount to forum members!

Scanned the thread, but didn't see any mention of it as lube. Works great...make sure to use whole, raw, unprocessed - not fractionated (liquid) - you want the kind that solidifies in room temps.

Ive had a weird kind of ance on the back of my arms since I was a kid, looked like a rash at some points. No cream or lotion would clear it up. Started to apply coconut oil on it at night before bed and it was gone within 5 days.
This stuff has amazing moisturizing properties, read somewhere that its an anti-viral too.

I started taking coconut oil about a year ago. While I was using it to stop afternoon snacking by putting it in an after lunch cup of coffee (it's excellent for that), as a side result I suddenly began to sleep better. I have never felt this well rested in my life.

Just bought a can in a local store. This forum makes me do things. Love the way coconut oil smells and the taste it gives while melting in my mouth.

I can attest to the effectiveness of this magical oil. Had acne scars for years, been using coconut oil on my face for a month and it's all gone! Skin never felt that good.

What is your routine? Do you just apply a little before bed?

Depends. Always before bed but when I feel like it I apply some during the day.

I used it on my hair too for some time, the shine looked good but the smell was weird so I switched to aloe vera.

I can get two brands of coconut oil cold-pressed here in Philippines: Liptong Virgin from the island of Negros, and Prosource Virgin from Leyte. Both excellent. Price about $15/liter. If you swallow two tablespoons per day (30 ml), as I do, then be careful. Don't fart with your pants on.

I know that feel bro. I had that stuff when I was younger. Like ingrown hairs on the back of your arms, red bumps. Shitty. I wish I would have known about coconut oil then. Im in my 30s and that has gone away, though my face is fucking still not clear.

I asked my dentist about CO for teeth whitening. She said that a lot of money had recently gone into promoting coconut products like oil and water. She was highly dubious of any benefits from teeth pulling.

I am surprised that with abundance of coconuts I can't find coconut oil anywhere here in Batam - Indonesia.

Not all of us Indians use coconut oil, but the people in my state do use coconut oil a LOT. Pros:
1) Fat content is great for testosterone.
2) Is not bad for the heart, the media is crap.
3) Bang for buck hair conditioner
4) Excellent for the skin

Cons:
1) Can dissolve SOME, not all condoms. No problem if you rawdog, though.

this is truly a versatile commodity. I eat it plain, drink it in a smoothie.

I put it in my hair, on my face, on my legs, on my lips. I even used it to make hair styling wax in combination with beeswax.

my friend told me about swishing it in my mouth which I will try out.

Tried shaving with it as someone here suggested.

Didn't really work very well. Clogged the razor and did nothing to smooth the process. It was almost as bad as shaving with no product whatsoever.

Do you guys keep a jar in the kitchen and a jar in the bathroom?

I've been using the same jar to scoop a pinch for my hair, my skin, my dick, my smoothie, my cooking, pulling, etc.

Think I should invest in 2 jars next time I hit up the store.

ETA: Coconut oil makes a tremendous hair gel/pomade. Keeps that shit in place without turning your hair into a brick.

What do you mean by "eating it plain"? A little scoop or more?

Question for everyone on the Coco Oil hypetrain: the brand I picked up says it should be stored in a fridge; how do you go about pouring it in a pan/ eating or even drinking it as some of you seem to be doing?

I only use it for cooking right now, after storing it in a fridge it has solidified and has to be scraped from the jar to be spread on the pan.

It shouldn't be stored in the fridge. Are you sure it's virgin coconut oil?

Yeah this is what I do. The "bathroom" one also does double duty in the bedroom as a massage oil which I like to use it for, makes the transition from massage to lube go, well, smoothly (but remember not to use with latex condoms).

I've tried a bunch of different reputable virgin oil brands and none of them had to be refrigerated. Outside of the fridge it still tends to go back and forth between liquid and a jelly-like solid depending on the room temperature that day, if I need to pour it I just put it in the microwave for a few seconds.

I can confirm mine's virgo oil too. However it does say on the back label that you're supposed to store it in your fridge. Wut do?
