Black guys seem to have it simultaneously good and bad. You have a bunch of bad stereotypes and racism against you.
At the same time black guys are considered a "forbidden fruit" which does increase your sexual market value for some girls.

This recommendation is not intended to judge the salvation of anyone, but is intended to promote greater unity among the church body and the community we serve."
Member Melvin Thompson crafted the resolution but said Wednesday that he is not racist. The church secretary, Dean Harville, disagrees. The resolution followed a visit to the church by Harville’s daughter, who is white, and her African boyfriend.
“I am not racist. I will tell you that. I am not prejudiced against any race of people, have never in my lifetime spoke evil” about a race,” said Thompson, the church’s former pastor who stepped down earlier this year. “That’s what this is being portrayed as, but it is not.”
He called the matter an “internal affair” of the church."
Since the story broke this morning, Melvin Thompson has already stepped down. He'll probably go on to complain about this politically correct world that forbids him from exercising his God-given right to speech and expression (which is never the point...he was perfectly free to do what he did, but there are also certain consequences. People are also free to complain and disassociate themselves from YOU). What's REALLY beautiful about bigots is that they swear they aren't racist. Somehow, in his head, he separated his hateful actions from the actual definition of a racist. Granted, I'm not shocked by this, because I know there are people in this country that not only think, feel and speak this way, but when also given the opportunity, they'll ACT. Just the same, I'm still really disappointed when someone does. Even though she was baptized at this church, and she and her fiance attended services and even sung there, they were still not seen as peers and equals. That's the thing...certain people will smile in your face and act polite (like they're doing you a favor by "allowing" you in their presence), but there's still a reason to put up that little wall, and when you get too close to it they let you know how they really see you - as inferior.

Seriously, this is not even close guys. Not even close, America is much better on race issues. Sure, it has problems, but Europe SUCKS infinitely more. They rarely even acknowledge the issues and are utterly ignorant to them. At least in the states, race issues are acknowledged.

This is just my hypothesis, but I would think immigrants (of any origin) would have an easier time in the U.S. compared to Europe since in America, everybody can say you should go back to where you came from (America was founded by alien colonists), while in Europe, they can basically tell you to get off their land since it basically is their land.
Basically America is at the head of race relations as far as white majority countries in the first world go. It also depends largely on what race you are. But even France, discrimination is far worse and considered more acceptable that is why they had race riots in 2010 and 2005

The romas are probably the most discriminated against and it is far worst than anything in modern america.
It is easier for immigrants to adjust in america than most other countries. There are succesful economic illegal immigrants, not many but about 10% are in the upper middle class and run their own businesses.

Europe doesn't have many minorities in prominent positions in politics, arts, media, etc....maybe soccer, but their own fans can be cruel to them when they're black.

Europe is much more racist than America.In Europe you can be openly racist it is not a big deal.Also there are tensions between south,north and eastern Europe and everyone is racist towards the other.(English towards Poles,Poles towards Ukrainians,Latvians towards Russians,North Italians towards south Italians etc).
Racism is banned in America for economic reasons(it is supposed to hinder economic growth).In Europe itis doubtful whether racism hinders or promotes growth it is a hot debate.

Plenty of Americans complain about these things also! His observations about Americans that don't travel is definitely something I've noticed. Only 20% or so of Americans hold passports, and most of them only use them to go to countries where they know English is spoken, or they stay at resorts and don't attempt to interact. For others, it's just a good form of indentification.

Europeans may travel more, but where the hell do they really travel to? They travel to safe resorts in Turkey and Spain which are full of people of their own Country. Europeans don't really differ from Americans on this point.

If I was born in America, i'm not sure if I would ever travel either. I mean you guys have a very large country which spans from colorado mountains to arizona deserts to alaska cold to hawaii hot, heck you can live in the carribean, or the south pacific and still technically be in America. Small countries in europe offer little geographic variety. And I don't see how a French going from paris to switzerland or germany is any more well travelled than a texan who sees the whole south west and north east.

Take Switzerland. Very small country - but huge variety. They have all climate zones from arctic to mediterranean.
Back to topic: Whether you (as a foreigner) get received well in a certain country or not, often depends on physical features that are beyond your control, yet these cannot always be reduced to the "race" factor.
Take my home country Germany as an example. Height matters far more than race here. If you are 5ft8 or something, Germans will treat you like a piece of shit (sad but true). But this is not directly linked to race, at least not in all cases.
Good friend of mine is a 6ft1 (East) Asian, and he's popular both among men and women. He used to have a (white) girlfriend with model looks. Same guy with same racial background would be treated very disrespectfully by everyone if he was 5ft8.

Yes some German are tall light brown hair very stereotypically looking. Why do some German girls have very greasy looking pimply skin whereas others have near perfectly white w/o flaw skin? Also why are some Germans have that brown hair brown eyes but other so nordic looking blonde, blue eyes. I was always under the impression that all Germans were blonde blue eyed but then I might a south german who was blonde and a north german who was brown hair and that just confused me

Yes,there are problems with that.For example what about Czechs and Poles or Serbs who often happen to be taller than Germans?The Germans hate them for this because they do not fit the stereotype.They just do not like to hear polish in Germany.When I spoke polish to polish girls everyone looked at me with disgust and hate.They stopped every conversation and starred at me.Even in my country Germans dislike slavic presence no matter if it is Russian,Serbian or Polish.All these are supposed to be cons pigs by them.Only Russians have some value because they posess resources and defeated them on the war.So they save some respect for the Russians but regard them as alien culture.
In general Germans react very badly when groups like Turks try to establish dominance.They completely segregate them and lower their living standards.They push them to get out.
This friction between Germans and other ethnicities is quite obvious when you hit Germany and you discover what is acceptable and what not by German women.They have no problem to date and fuck the upper middle class of mediteranean societies but that is so much how it gets.
