Christ.

Set a new PR on Chest Press. (Not that anybody keeps track of chest press PRs) so at least some good came out of this.

As Leonard and SamuelBRoberts say, this is great gym motivation. This dude got me to go another round on the punchbag as well.

In terms of movies, I used to get a wistful feeling watching the original SW films. Now I just feel sick. I remember almost getting a tear in my eye watching the T-Rex scene in Jurassic Park back in 1993. That was real emotional as I was a big Dinosaur nerd and all I'd seen previously was clay stop-motion monsters or real lizards with styrofoam stuck to them. But as good as that was, I still kept my shit together.

Mind you, I've a feeling that my reaction to the Brexit results coming in back in 2016 wouldn't have been too far off Bugman here, so I shouldn't feel too superior.

^ Big difference is that the Brexit matters. Billions of lives will be irrevocably changed by the Brexit.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.

There’s a difference between having a reaction to something that’s extremely moving or deep vs. a short trailer with no content other than some cliche “look at how awesome the hero is!” acrobatics.

That's what I can't understand. The trailer was dogshit. Bugman had already seen everything in it;

Rey in the desert wearing the same shit she had on in the last trailer two films ago.

A Tie-fighter (Interceptor). We've seen a million of them.

Darth-Soy fighting in the woods, just like before. Helmet close-up (again).

Cute droid, same as last time.

Finn popping his head up staring into the distance (like before).

Big chunk of hardware incongruously lying on the surface of a planet, like the star destroyer in the earlier trailer.

Tease at the end; Emperor cackling (stepping in for Vader breathing in TFA trailer)

It was all recycling their own shit. Yet he was hyper-ventilating and getting moist just seconds into it. I'd hate to be sitting next to the guy at the cinema when the actual film comes on, he'd be passed out from multiple nerdgasms before the opening scroll finishes.

Honestly when I'm watching a really great action or sci-fi story, there's nothing, nothing else I'd rather watching.

Being engrossed in a great story that has it all you could wish for and what you didn't know you wanted, completely understandable. In my case, when he stop and turns:

I played Star Wars Galaxies when it was out. This guy is your typical pussy hardcore fan who loves anything Star Wars and the game was full of them on light side.

Thankfully I never came across them again once I quit.

My first reaction after seeing this guy is the same as most on here: Pathetic.

But then after seeing the absolute lashing this soyboy is taking from 99% of the internet, my disgust for this "man" was turning into something else: Pity.

Especially after reading tweets from worthless thots like Ashley St. Clair shaming this guy for being a product of what women have been saying they wanted a man: More emotion. Showing their feelings. Crying on cue. Etc.

Of course, Red Pilled men know that it is total horseshit. "Watch what a woman does, not what she says". But the majority of men are eating up this social conditioning and are merely expressing their programming.

And now they are shamed for it by the very machine which created them.

Is this guy pathetic? Absolutely. I even did an extra set of pull ups yesterday at the gym with the motivation not to be like this faggot. But then I got to thinking where does his story end? His wife is going to leave him (sooner than later now, as result of this video) and he'll have all his toys and movies taken away by this woman.

Hopefully he'll take all this criticism to heart and hit the gym and drop the faggot behavior. But I doubt it. He is so indoctrinated by current society that it's the core of who he is. He'll fade away into obscurity in a year and sad to say he'll probably end up committing suicide or become a full blown alcoholic.

It's easy to jump on the dogpile and pummel this dork. But at some point, someone has to be the man who helps him up and guides him. Because women/current society sure the hell isn't going to help a white male. They are more interested in destroying them.

After seeing the dog-piling, I'm forced to ask the question - how many of these Internet tough guys who are making fun of him have the testosterone levels of a 95 year old nun?

I'd be willing to bet that a majority of them are failures at masculinity as well - just not quite as pathetic as this case - and they think that by pushing him down, they'll be able to lift themselves up.

Eh. I’ve got my own geeky interests. Even take it a step further because mine has a huge hobby aspect that involves assembly and painting. Doesn’t mean I can’t TCOB if needed.

There’s some guys from here and RoK I’ve met whose masculinity I would never question that have geeky interests like Fallout. The difference is that they haven’t tied their identity into consumption of those franchises and it doesn’t control their emotions. For them it’s just a movie/game you enjoy as a guilty pleasure and then you get on with more important things. No more emotionally significant than a few minutes spent lounging on the porch with a beer.

Guys like that are like the Playstation/Xbox fanboys of the 2000s. They Can't detach from their favorite IP's because they've spent so much time mentally inhabiting the setting that it's become intertwined with their identity. Their favorite franchise being anything other than wonderful is devastating to their ego because that IS their ego and they usually don't have anything better to fall back on.

It isn’t owning the action figures that were poking at. It’s being that emotionally worked up over something as trivial as a trailer.

And well...I pity the dude himself but absolutely despise what he represents.

Yep. Nobody wants to hit on the poor guy too much or for too long. There's nothing to be gained from it and anyway, he's clearly got enough problems of his own already.

Nevertheless, it's important that this behaviour isn't tolerated without some ridicule, or god forbid, celebrated.

Being a nerd is fine, but it shouldn't preclude masculinity. I myself am a Nerd/Jock hybrid, something I encourage in my son; that way he gets good grades and an intelligent curiosity about the world, but still gets picked first for sports. Having a foot in both camps enables you to both hit back and think back.

Cry at Star Wars if you have to, but do it alone and don't put a camera on your face and show the world. It's the flamboyant disrespect for masculinity that is abhorrent here.

This is powerful stuff.

I never could quite stomach libertarian "to each their own" nonsense and the passage above reveals to me precisely why that is.

You only have the luxury of tolerating the other when that other is safely outside of your civilisation and not fighting to undermine your people and your culture and replace it with something foreign and hostile.

In the basest sense this bug-man cannot co-exist with with masculine whites (I'm sure he has no problem with masculine non-whites). He is essentially part of a rival gang and videos like this are him flashing his gang colours. Anyone here who reviles him and is repulsed to the extent they would exile him is expressing the historically and biologically correct reaction.

The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Yes, I think Jack Donovan's tribal/gang reasoning works very well here at helping explain the visceral disgust many men feel at displays such as this. Even if we can't articulate it, we know it when we see it.

We look at that guy and laugh, but at the same time we get that nagging feeling that he is making my group look bad in front of other competing groups. 'My Group' may mean anything here from my race, sex, city, school, Sci-Fi fans ... hell, even other Star Wars fans might feel a bit let down.

You just don't want this chump representing your group in any way. Unless his nerdism can be useful and he be put to work on something that brings praise and glory to your group, in which case he can legitimately earn a place (if he promises to stop crying on the internet).

People like him are clay in the hands of the establishment.

Nobody asked him to upload the video, I agree, he posted a reaction for the sole purposes of it being viewed and (getting some reaction/attention) expects the world just to conform or take it in their stride. Apparently he can have any reaction he wants and we can't. If you don't want the attention, live a quiet life.

Its worse that actors saying I just want to be left alone, at least they're usually playing somebody else, he's playing himself!

My god, Have people lost all reason entirely? Interesting to see the rapidly growing geek channels of the last few years hedging their bets on defending him, otherwise their fanbases might have a moment of self reflection or think the youtuber is talking about him/her, or might turn off and cry instead at Notre Dame's burning or something that will actually live beyond them!

Also they will all bleat how they are it in for the love just so long as doesn't hit the bottom line. "Question the SJW's but don't question the hobby/lifestyle! The second one is pure!"

When you report on every little clickbait, surely they know what their doing for the health of society when it means fuck all by day's end

The whole of their anti-SJW screed can be summarised:

"We know things are bad — worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is: 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' "

"Dad", the boy asks, "what was it like before the trials?"
