About two times a year, my workload doubles up and I have the chance to make about five figures of income in one month. The work is writing related.
Even if you're only working 40-45 hours in a week, it's very very intense demanding work.
Naturally, this is always a challenging time for me. I'm not under obligation to go that hard, but it's a great feeling at the end of the month looking at how your account that has grown, and the dividends you get if you choose to invest it.
I'm in the thick of it now and was wondering if you all had any tips on how to get through an intense period of grind without burning out, how to stay motivated, etc.
I'm sure there's a biochemical equation to feeling "burned out," but I don't know what it is. I know I end up feeling that way a lot.
Of course, I've tried most of the nootropics (they always leave me feeling more burned out and less productive after the fact). Drugs like Adderall largely do the same.
I have had great success with meditation, ZMA before bed, proper sleep (duh), infrared saunas on Sunday, consistently lifting (even though you feel horribly tired), etc.
Any tips?
