This is not unheard of. It's called "rough trade" (there was even a UK record label named after it). The MSM is still trying to push the original assault story as if it was legit. I see those clickbait story links on the sides or bottoms of web pages, touting "shocking" new revelations in the case.

One of them came up yesterday, and it basically recapped the original story as if it was legit. It was on Yahoo, and had over 7000 comments. I started reading the comments and every single one hammered the article for not providing any new info and/or pointed out that the story was an obvious hoax.

The MSM still hopes people will believe this kind of hoax, but nobody is buying it anymore.
