Guys in the DF Dub, anyone hitting up Denton for college girls? Could be worth a shot.

FUCK AUSTIN TRAFFIC.

Those hippies can't drive. I've never seen so many cars doing 35 on a highway. Especially after driving in from Houston? We don't play that shit there! Trying to make a left turn on Guadalupe during rush hour had me cutting through parking lots.

It’s mind blowing to me how Dallas, despite being a major city and the 4th biggest metro in America, is completely drab and dead.

Houston is also a very sprawling city with a serious lack of foot traffic and bustle. Brutally hot and humid too.

I would hate to live in either of those cities as a dude dedicated to daygame. Having to game at the mall seriously sucks.

If gaming in Denton for a weekend, I recommend getting an Airbnb. Uber o Lyft drivers will NOT leave Denton city limits...this was troubling when I was drunk and had to wait for driver #4 who begrudgingly drove me to my crash pad in Corinth just minutes south of Denton that night.

Nightlife is "poppin" in Dallas, but quality has gone way down. Everything is day or dinner game these days.

Suggestions:
1) Shops on Parks Lane (Across highway from Northpark Mall)
2) Top Golf Weekend Daytime (Nearby)
3) Hilton Anatole (Parking is a bitch there...but that hotel always has events & well-dressed hotties there. My friend calls that a "city within a city." True..Hilton Anatole is like its own city at times.
4) Knox Street Daytime/early evening - (Quite a few restaurants, pretentious shopping areas, Apple Store)
5) Stanley Korshak Shopping Center Weekday Daytime - Weekend nights suck here...but daytime lunch has hotties all over the place
6) Galleria Mall Daytime & Surrounding Shops
7) Saturday Art Gallery Parties on Dragon Street in Design District
8) Getting discounted tickets to Dallas Stars games last minute
9) Spring/Summer Concert Series at Lone Start Park in Grand Prairie Fridays/Sat Nights
10) If there are real estate mixers or events held by Title Companies...those are loaded with talent usually
11) Non-Profit societies though some a bit cliquey have pretty good talent too
12) Classy restaurant bars have good talent too..much better than your traditional thirsty douche nightlife
13) Last Tuesday of the Month Networking Events at Ritz Carlton in Uptown has good talent

There's more, but I'm sure you guys get the point.

Since there are so many more East Asians in Houston, I stand out more positively in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Life has been absolutely crazy "starting over" again in DFW, but will try to make myself more available in the next few months in DFW.

Let me know if you guys have anymore questions. Hope to meet some of you soon.

Btw, I'd avoid:
1) Craft beer on patio scene
2) Breweries
3) Deep Ellum
4) Kickball/Dodgeball Leagues

Let those faggy millenials wither away at those places

All good ideas, also:

1)SMU on football game days. The so-called boulevard is a highly target rich environment, and the way the girls are dressed-up in their sun dresses is just precious. Free alcohol also.
2)Highland Park Village shopping center- Lot of high quality girls here, also a good place to meet a MILF. I recommend the Starbucks there in particular.
3)Truckyard- This bar/food truck place is packed as soon as the weather is nice. Everyone i've ever taken to this place has good things to say about it.
4) Katy Trail Ice house- The girls love this place. It's packed. People love their patios I guess.

I think Deep Ellum is a matter of personal preference, esp if you happen to be into hipster, alternative chicks. The quality has improved there drastically since I started hanging out there 5 years ago.

Would be great to meet up man with you and some other RVFers.

Katy Trail isn't as good as it once was, unfortunately. By being slightly less busy, there isn't as much standing room only- those big tables make it tough to open the mixed set.

There is a huge push north right now. Frisco is basically the new hub of Dallas. I have even heard shops at Legacy is no longer just "where uptown girls go to die as one big lonely cougar pride". I'm not willing to find out just yet though.

Also, @jimbo

Without getting into a debate with someone I don't know, I'd say that Texas isn't right for you, especially if your idea of game is to cruise through malls looking for a same day hookup.

You'd probably have better luck with a well constructed profile on bumble, if you're halfway good looking.

However, Texas can be a great spot for a lot of guys for a number of reasons, including financial and way of life. But just because you did not find success here doesn't mean it's a no-go zone for others.

Please don't take this next phrase as disrespect, but I always raise an eyebrow when someone cannot find something good to say about a place they've been. There's 6 million people in Dallas-Fort Worth, 8 or 9M more in Houston; it will be tough for you to convince me that there is not at least one niche area in these locations that any man can't find attractive women to fuck.

Every town, city, state, and country has their own combination to unlock the attractive women within. Just because you can't solve Texas doesn't mean your fellow RVF brethren can't.

Good luck to you though, wherever you want to go.

Way to get reactive White Knight Gustaves. Just because I offer an opinion you don't agree with, doesn't mean you have to get cuntish - it actually reminds me a lot of the thin skinned American women in Texas. Oh and btw, the Phillippines is in Southeast Asia, not East Asia (apparently the Texas education system sucks too LOL).

Trust me when I say, the talent in those places blows away anything you will find in Texas in terms of both quality and quantity.

The only way I can see that someone would think the talent in NYC is high is if you've never been to EE or {insert other established daygame destination outside the western world}. At the risk of being antagonistic - I couldn't help but notice the "4,841" posts since May 2013, something tells me you've spent too much time behind the keyboard and not enough time in the field.
I feel like responses like this are just showing up in every forum where people are trying to actually give productive thoughts... and typically from guys with less than 50 posts and 0 rep. Guess what, the majority of the world can't spend the year in EE and SEA. While I respect your service, I'd imagine the city you spent the majority of your time was filled up with military guys and not your typical Texas town.

I can't speak for SXSW, but doesn't suck for game.. similar to Lolla or Osheaga in that you can't bounce directly back to a campground which is unfortunate, but you can rack up numbers and set up post parties at ease. Lot's of hot girls dress in sexy outfits.

I also can't speak for day game in Austin, but if you can't pull at night basically every Thur-Sun there you are doing something wrong... seems like the majority of your gaming is day gaming which is not everyone's priority.

3) Truckyard has terrific food options. I'd go there for the food, but not the best place to socialize IMO.

Sprawl is a total bitch & there are just way too many prominent private sector employers in the Plano/Frisco area these days so high quality gals aren't exactly that anxious to live closer to Downtown/Uptown/Deep Ellum if they can't find work closer to there. It also helps that higher quality women aren't exactly eager to "see & be seen" since they tend to lead more meaningful lives where there are chances to connect with them directly or indirectly through special events.

I used to perceive Frisco as a place with just boring suburbanites & cookie cutter homes, but it's a place that has definitely improved. Helps that Im at a phase where I don't expect anything so my occasional work commitments in that area has resulted in encounters with pretty solid talent out there.

As for specific venues, happy hour talent at places such as Fleming's Steakhouse is quite solid. I'd definitely recommend the bar & patio areas of Mexican Sugar as a decent venue too. Shops of Legacy is actually quite the place. Weekday lunch has a ton of hotties walking around.

A huge plus with Shops of Legacy and North Dallas is that it's not infested with annoying "millennials" looking to re-live the mickey mouse bullshit of their college days. I have "friends" like that all over East Dallas/Deep Ellum. Those peeps lame as fuck

Side note..went to Bottled Blonde last week on a Thursday. Great place..though weekends have tough as shit lines. Thursday is supposedly best night to go. Just keep in mind there is a restaurant/sports bar & an actual lounge which have different entrances. Don't recommend the sports bar but the lounge is packed with approachable hotties. Enjoy it before the place eventually goes into a downturn...

Frisco is a place that i need to check out, but can't really justify it from a time/cost standpoint. Especially if alcohol enters the equation. The one redeeming factor of dallas is that if one part of town sucks you can make a lateral move to say Uptown or another place close by. No need for driving by car.

I used to go to a lot of SMU games and the free alcohol always made it worth it. The girls always used the Boulevard as an excuse to drink. They were dressed up nicely too. The drinking starts before anyone gets to the boulevard at pre-games.

Problem is with beer gardens, patio places, people come in big groups so they're not as receptive to strangers. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't

Rustic is so good though. Girls love it. Another good place is Trophy Room, they have a mechanical bull. It's especially good if you go on a random night and they happen to have a sorority event. Those are the best nights. But also pretty good on Thurs, Fri and Sat too.

I have a love hate relationship with DE, too many dudes but I like the beer a lot. Although it is really damn fun to walk around with a group of friends/ mixed group on a friday or saturday night.

I was in DFW and Austin last year, and my impression is both cities are good areas with options of people to meet, Austin probably getting the edge for it's creative vibe. Austin is young, hip, has lifestyle options (music scene, hiking trails, cool bars/restaurants...), and is very transplant-friendly, and very vibrant for a city of it's size. Lots of young white hotties too, although I was a little disappointed to not see as many hot Latinas. I went to university in Milwaukee, and if MKE had the energy/vibrancy of Austin, I'd move back there.

Dallas/Ft Worth is massive, but seemed a bit more generic/average American lifestyle, I do like the old west vibe of Ft Worth, and DFW is a top tier airport hub.

I'm curious about San Antonio, as I've always had passion for Spanish/Mexican culture. Heard very mixed things about H-town. El Paso and the southwest TX countryside are also on my to-visit list.

We need to have a get together:

1 - Play kickball
2 - Cool down at Katy Trial
3 - Hit up Concrete Cowboy, Social House, Sherlocks
4 - Hit up Sambuca, Ritz, Glorias
5 - End the night at XTC since no other titty bar is open until 5am

Brosemite: I think the reason PLamo and Shitsco are growing is because thots are realizing that there are cities with affordable rent AND nice amenities.

Option 1 - $1200 for a shitty old Deep Ellum complex or Uptown apartment with a roommate

Option 2 - $1200 for a nice apartment in Frisco/Plano/McKinney with pool, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances.

Also has a lot to do with all the work opportunities up north in Collin County as well since nobody wants shitty commutes. Not everybody can find a nicely compensated job near Downtown...then again..there are high quality bitches around Collin County that aren't about dat "see and be seen social scene" which means they have meaningful lives, activities, and friendships outside of work.

Past few nights out have taken a toll on me because I've been showing a friend around town since he's from another country. Did I have to? Not really...but it's my fiduciary to show a buddy fun shit around town when in Rome.

Some great info I read in this thread a few weeks ago. The answers seem to vary in this thread about where is best so I'm going to throw out a specific scenario for those that know Texas well. In April, I'm heading to New Orleans for a few days but instead of flying in and out, I've considered expanding that into a roadtrip of the southern US to try and discover if there's any redeemable cities left in the country. I come from the New York area, so I'd like to try game in a more conservative part of the country (politically, probably not in notch count lol). Continuing on to Texas is about 1 of 4 itineraries I'm considering.

In this scenario, I'd have about 2.5-3 weeks to drive around Texas and get as much as I can out of the state. The main city I've heard recommended by RVFers is Austin, and I would plan to dedicate some time there. I would definitely spend at least a couple days in Dallas as well, since I would be going there to meet a friend. Houston, Galveston, and San Antonio have also caught my eye, though the latter mainly for tourism purposes. I even took notice of the Abilene recommendation by an RVFer earlier in this thread.

I guess what I'm asking is, if you had about 18 days in Texas and spending like 3 days in Dallas is a must, how would go about dividing the time in the state if you wanted to have a couple of weekdays for tourism while getting some gaming opportunities?

For reference, I'm a tall 20's white guy that looks a little older with a beard.

As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.
