Arrived in Taganga. The beach is pleasant and the hammocks overlooking the bay are quite good but there are only bloody hippies and backpackers, plus absolutely nothing to fuck here expect fat Swedish girls and dirty tattooed Californians. I will pass.

Just a tip. Getting taxis to pick you up prime time at your places in Medellin during the entire month of December is ridiculously hard. Try getting an uber account or getting the personal cell phones of some cabbies. Calling dispatch is not a good option.
As for arriving in New Years. It's not like other places where it's a big party. Locals tend to hang out with family that night. Just so you won't be surprised that it's not popping on NYE like other places outside Colombia.

Yes that is an option. Leaving and going back does count as a new stay without need for visa. Only question is if I want to use up the 6 month allotment without leaving in the middle of it.

Hopefully someone here knows, despite that most here dont seem to be long duration.

Went to Lleras yesterday. Pleasant atmosphere while drinking beer in the fresh air. But too many pasty German girls in flip flops, Colombian hipster girls and prepagos.

This is all I ever saw in Lleras also. I don't understand the hype it gets on the forum, similar to the hype Zona Colonial in Santo Domingo gets when the reality is it's also all hookers and fat Euros. Meanwhile the high end places with good looking chicks (in both cities) never get a mention.
