I have been to Berlin, Munich and Hamburg and several other German cities... In terms of girls I don't think there's too much quality difference in these cities to be honest... There are more than enough options in all these cities game-wise... Guys on this forum complain about hipster hippoes in Berlin, but that's only the demographic of East Berlin in the student-area, if you go to West Berlin there's plenty of posh girls too.

Personally, I often like to go the bigger population cities simply because there's more birds in that nest... yes there'll be less "foreigner factor" in bigger cities but there's almost no foreigner factor in all of Germany regardless, due to the country being so swamped by illegal and legal immigrants in recent decades. Also, as others have mentioned Berlin offers the most amount of international birds, such as travellers, backpackers, working holiday visas, foreign students etc.

If you're taking earning potential or job opportunities into account then obviously richer cities are better and perhaps you should avoid Berlin... But if you are bringing your own foreign currency and you want an exciting and interesting city, one of the best coolest cities in Europe and one of the most unique cities in the world, then go to Berlin.

Ive only been to Berlin once and I didn't like it THAT much. I however WOULD give it another try since I only spent a weekend there.

No center. Everything spaced out meaning that venue hopping is an absolute nightmare for someone not in tune with the city and not knowing where to be on what night.

ON PAPER Berlin sounds like the best city.

-Largest population meaning lots of options and its the most international. So if you strike out with German girls you have tourists and expats to fall back on. I think this is MAJOR.

I am in Cologne with not many tourists or expats which means you are going to live and die on what German girls think of you. At least in Berlin you can completely disregard German women if you want and go elsewhere. Not to mention Poland is not THAT far away.. giving you EVEN more options.

Being from Germany I can say the the Rhein-Ruhr area probably does not get enough respect, at least from what I've seen when visiting friends there. It has the biggest density of population in Germany and you easily get about 10m people living all within a 60-90min train ride. Most of the cities are ugly (Dortmund, Bochum) but you have beautiful ones as well (Düsseldorf, at least that's what I've heard hehe).

Berlin is great for history and culture. Terrible if you want to swoop sexy girls. I was in the poshest club in Berlin, on Halloween out of all days (!!), and the quality was thoroughly disappointing. Didn't really see all the famed cute tourists either, I spotted more of those in an hour in NYC than in a weekend in Berlin. Maybe I'm just too spoiled. But if you're into hipsters and techno parties with drugs, by all means go. You'll get laid left and right.

Munich, my home town, is nice but it's an outsized village really. Yes, there's cute girls but I don't really know what to make of it. Sometimes I visit and I'm surprised by the amount of cute girls in the city center. Then I go to a club (supposedly a student club with good ratios) and it's a sausage fest a la bonheur. There's definitely talent yes, but the size of the city isn't helping you. There's really only a handful of metro stops with nightlife so de facto the city is much smaller than it seems it first. Oktoberfest is different obviously but you're more likely to fuck some drunk Australian 6 than the hot student whose Dad is a BMW executive.

Hamburg is really nice and really liveable but unfortunately too much of a sausage fest as well. At least the famous Reeperbahn is infested by male tourists and the red light district doesn't help. Schanzenviertel is supposedly ok but I didn't really dive properly into it when living there. It has much more of a big city feel to it than Munich though. Imo it sort of combines the best of Munich and Berlin without having really enough cute girls to really make a statement. Mind you that social democracy is strong in Hmaburg so attitudes are closer to Berlin than to Munich, even though it's a wealthy city.

That is true, but that is mostly applicable for young girls who are often clubbing, not the average young girl who goes out to clubs maximum 2 times a month. I live in Germany and only 17 year old naive girls will prefer a gangstah looking middle eastern or a black dude wearing leather jacket than an educated german guy.

In my local town even Southern Europeans are at disadvantage, better look native German, Dutch , Scandinavian or something that scream germanic from 50 km away, because families expect their daughters to end up with guys like that, and being tall never hurts you, if you are 6'4 is a big advantage, since most guys in my area are 180-190 cm , so there is a lot of tall men to compete against.

Yea I agree with this, German guys are usually reluctant to approach or even talk to girls unless they're part of a social circle. Guys usually just expect things to happen. Some German girls get so fed up that they only roll with "foreigners", because they feel as a man who is too afraid to say "Hello" is probably also too afraid to do other things with a woman. I can't blame them.

I lived in Germany for about a decade in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, some small village in the southwest and never saw any of that. Plus the German friends I had that approached also seemed to be quite successful with chicks.

Depends what you define to be dark, If you define by dark the average spanish, Italian, greek or Portuguese Guy, then yes, quite a few women (on paper) tend to like that type, but however in real life they might find those guys a little too much.. (too much compliments and just way too much blahblah and tension compareed to what they are usued/expecting from guys in general).

Now if dark is middle easterns and more so africans... then Its a very small % who like those guys, but when they do they have the most strong preference and are aggresive

@semibaron: Have you visited Vienna recently? I have lived here for 4 months now and it is almost as much of a shit-hole for girls as Washington, DC and Toronto. Women are not very friendly if you do not speak German (although almost all Austrian women speak great English, the immigrants not so much) and exotic factor is non-existent here due to the massive influx of tourists and immigrants year round. Absolutely. Do not visit Vienna for girls, never! I visited Vienna this year in October and was really surprised at how bad the girls are dressed there. I saw a lot more handsome guys (no homo) than sexy girls. Also, it doesn't help that I have a Northern German accent, which Austrians in general don't like. My friend in Vienna told me that you need a big social circle to get the best girls. And apparently, those social circles always go together to expensive clubs etc.

This is a reply to both of you. I lived in Vienna from mid 2012 - end 2016.

So yeah, Austria is a Western European country and by this obviously far away from being a poosy paradise. The same goes for Germany.

Although Germany and Austria are neighbors and share the same language, I feel there are some significant differences. From an Austrian Point-of-View:
- people speak worse English
- are more racist
- care much more about appearance
- are more boring, less adventurous, less tech-savvy, less risk-taking
- social circle is more important, whereas in Germany you can easily approach indirectly
- nightlife is fucking boring as everyone sits around their table and sips there 10€ cocktail

As I've already said, girls are more feminine in Austria than in Germany. This means, they are more shy & traditional and usually don't give any signals. It's also more difficult to talk to strangers. On the positive side, girls are more pleasant to talk to. Austria treats EE girls' personality in a more femininity-conserving way than Germany. In Germany, EE girls become much faster corrupted by the Western mindset. Remember, Germany is one of the closest non-English speaking countries to the Anglosphere. Austria, on the other hand, has a lot of elements of Southern Europe incorporated in its cultural DNA (can confirm this after a 1 year stay in Madrid).

It's true that one can walk around a whole day and don't encounter too many nice females. Still, there are a couple of hotspots:
1.) WU - Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (largest, public business school)
2.) Juridicum (largest, public law school)
3.) Innere Mariahilferstraße (long shopping street)

My experiences might be screwed as I was an university student and had a strong social circle.
