Entitled Millenial Discovers That Entry-Level Jobs Suck

This dipshit makes it seem like somebody forced her into this situation or she had a terrible string of bad luck like getting laid off combined with huge hospital bills from an illness or something. In that case, she'd be justified in starting a go fund me. Obviously not the case here. If this whiney cunt wants to live in a one bedroom by herself that she can't afford with her shitty job, she had better start waiting tables on the side.

I get that she's bitter about the fact that she doesn't get pretty much everything paid for like her more attractive peers and she actually has to support herself. I'm sure that would suck to be in that position as a girl, but guess what bitch? That's the reality of life for every non trust fund man, even ones with model good looks.

There's another angle to this to.

Notice how it's always companies that lefties love which seem to be caught treating their employees like dogshit?

Nope, no angle here.

They're paying her minimum wage for a totally entry level position. That's normal.

Her minimum wage job provides her food at work. What other minimum wage job does that which is not a way less cushy/comfortable job working the fryers at the local fast food joint? Actually, you probably don't even get all the food you want at those jobs either most of the time.

What an entitled princess. That link posted with all her twitter pictures with lots of nice food and expensive items just shows you how much she's lying in her open letter. She's lucky to have worked at such an employee friendly company.

Poor thing is aging terribly. Those are some worn-in stress lines.

The sad irony being that she refuses to face her problems head on, and instead blames everyone and anyone who isn't responsible.

She got scammed by the system into paying for a worthless degree, and pursuing an untenable lifestyle. She should be angry at them. But is she? Nope; they're her heroes. It's her CEO's fault for not changing reality to suit her whims.

Yep.
Good ol' case of - careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
So self-centred & entitled, they think they can have it all.
Foolish little girl. There's not enough time in the day to have it all.

It's an interesting refusal of personal responsibility.

She signed an agreement to work (including night shifts or weekend work) for minimum wage.
She signed an agreement to rent a place to live.

The sticker price on both agreements is completely visible to her.

She is the one person who's at the nexus of both agreements.

Fast forward a few months, and suddenly it's her company's fault that she has little money left over after rent.

Now she's convinced herself it's her company's fault... she attempts to publicly trash their brand and justifiably loses her job in the process. That seems unfair to her too, somehow!

I used to live in San Francisco for a long time. I don't anymore. Its a overpriced liberal shithole with one of the worst women in the world.

She will get a lot of attention from the guys there though. The thirst there is incredible.

And it's a catfight! Some other millenial chick just tore her a new one on Business Insider.

"Trust me when I say, there are far more embarrassing things in life than working at a restaurant, washing dishes, or serving burgers at a fast food window. And one of them, without one shred of doubt, is displaying your complete lack of work ethic in public by asking for handouts because you refuse to actually do work that at the ripe old age of 25 that you think is unworthy of your witty tweet creating time."

CEO of Yelp looks like a shitlord. I'm going to hazard a guess that they're not a particularly SJW-friendly company.

So did I. Don't knock it.

Many authors (myself included) make nice money every month writing novels as well as non-fiction. I've twelve so far on the fiction side (techno-thrillers). Seven on the non-fiction side.

(though the mindset required to write 1500-2000 words per day is something you cannot learn from any college in the USA)

Since when do you need an English degree to be a writer?

Most authors didn't major in English, though, and I would say it's actually a net negative for an aspiring author to choose that major.

The only reason to major in English besides having a pile of money to burn and simply enjoying the subject (nothing wrong with that) is to become an English teacher.

Try interviewing a dozen little "Talias" for a job which carries actual responsibilities.

It's very depressing at times.

I am complaining that they look like they are still pre-pubescent well into their late 20s and never developing the facial features that makes them physically attractive.

and don't fucking 'um' me. I don't have time for that hipster passive aggressive text speak.

- '#goals'?, how about '#youreadipshit'?
- I knew this was written by a chick almost instantly because she said 'I don't want to be a cliche...', no man gives two shits about being a cliche as long as it pays the bills (maybe pajama boy millennial faggots do?). Should have got her teaching certificate.
- Starting in customer service should qualify you for media...someday if you work hard and are lucky. You know what doesn't qualify you for media? The way you take five sentences to say what I can say in two (having in the past worked in media - I have some idea of what I'm talking about).
- You can't afford to eat anything other than rice? It's slimming, and of course there's always the world's oldest profession...
- 80% of your salary goes to rent...I REPEAT...80% of this basic chick's salary is rent, to further drive home how sheer idiocy of this...

- Seriously - find a few friends, rent something like this and your rent has been cut in less than half...I mean sure, it's a little far (about 50 minutes with traffic)...but people everywhere do that shit every day.
- There are easy and creative ways to steal food from the company fridge - you lack imagination and guile.
- Also, the Bay area has a climate well-adapted to growing your own vegetables...it's very inexpensive.
- She severely underestimates the importance of benefits - especially in America.
- Go to Starbucks, buy a water for like $2 and use their wifi instead of having to pay for it.
- 'But maybe I could find someone on Craigslist who won’t mind all of that because they’ll look at the dark circles under my eyes and realize I need the cash more than they do.' - the only people who give money to women without receiving anything in return are your thirsty, emasculated male cohorts. I might be compelled to give you $50 *sees pic* $25 if you blow me and swallow and I feel sorry enough for you that day...
- You complain and complain about being underpaid for your work, your solution is volunteer work...Again...

- $24,000 extra yearly in San Francisco? Okay - you're now paying 55% of your earnings on rent and not 80%, which is nice, but you'll want to move. It's not much...
- A Bearing of Basic Bitch Behavior #273 - When you do shit like put off oil changes and let your car sit doing nothing because you can't afford it, on the day when it does break down (and it will)...be prepared to fork over at least two G's. An oil change is like $35, putting a spare tire on is promising some beta a dinner date after which you won't even need to put out if you don't want to - you can always afford it.
- You were fired for this diatribe. Remember next time you do this kids - THE INTERNET IS FOREVER!

San Francisco is a place I'd fuck my own mother before choosing to live in - BUT - it's the single most important technology hub on the planet. SF rewards innovators, the best and the brightest. If you're average, you're just more grist for the mill there.

She could have at least had a little extra spending cash if she lived in a less glamorous place like Vegas or Denver.

Hell, I was told the rule of thumb was not to pay more than 30% of your income on rent. I managed to get that down to 18% and had plenty of money for other things. If you're paying 80% of your income for rent, you're too stupid to live.

For her, being a secretary would be a dream and it would probably pay better than whatever it is she was doing at Yelp/Eat24. She should also consider moving to a more affordable place like maybe Toledo, Ohio or Scranton, PA.

What a fucking whiner. While going to college in the bay area studying STEM, I worked master control at a cheapskate TV station and I still made $14 an hour. Oh yeah and I was 20 years old at the time too, by the time I was her age I made damn near $50k a year living in the middle of nowhere, not SF. Her life plan was to be a worthless typist in a world where journalism is a dead end job?

Gross, based on those photo angles, SIF. WNB.

Hell, by the time I was her age, I was making enough money to buy a new Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham free and clear and I'm hardly a super-genius.

She can't, those places are full of micro-aggressions and trigger her too much. Have some sympathy.
