Newb First Trip: 1 month in Philippines

I've recently had a dabble on pinalove.
Its a lightweight compared to FC.
More hookers and scammy profiles.

Also note that translation from Pinay english to English english ..
F = S
U = E
N = X

Ok, now it's 60ty messages. This is tempting. But 35 euros for one month is not too little. well. Pinalove would only be 25 dollars. And i will buy just one. Good thing on pinalove is that you can sort them by weight if you are a paid member.
On Filipinocupid in platinum there is also 'Exclusive search features' but i don't know what they are, anyone knows?

Not sure if I'm too late for this, but you do realize that all those "messages" you are receiving are fake messages sent by FC admin to lure you into buying their service? Once you buy it, you will see that all these "messages" are actually copy/paste jobs sent by robots, and you magically stop receiving these messages.

I am shocked that this isn't more common knowledge on RVF.

Granted, I still bought 1 month worth of FC, but, it's not the avalanche that they make it look to be. In general I would meet up with 1/10 of the girls that I messaged. Once i canceled my account, guess what? Suddenly i'm getting messaged by tons of Filipina girls again! [Image: angel.gif]

Thanks! I changed option to 'i am in philippines and now it's 1300 pesos (26eur) vs 35 or 30 euros (already forgot) before.
So much interest, i guess i change my profile a bit more towards 'looking for fun', to screen a bit.
(And write 'No, you cannot take friend/sister/mother/grandmother ot a date with me, are you cracy [Image: smile.gif]!'
I changed maximal kg to 44 and there are still 1000+ matches only in Quezon.

I dont know for sure how true this is as I had the paid account as well after trying the free version and still I got many messages. In addition met with a lot of females from FC, received more interest than I could possibly keep up with and didnt see many bots doing to copy paste thing.... Though its been over a year since I was in the Phils, when did you exprience this happening was it pretty recent?

Are you absolutely sure about that? My experience was just a few months ago. They send generic messages now (granted, you can send these pre-written messages yourself, but miraculously stop receiving them once you sign up)

Even if that's true, you should still receive a lot of messages after paying for your membership.
Maybe it's related to the fact that new users show up in priority to the list of dudes ?

In any case, becoming platinum didn't change anything for me.

After not logging into FC for months, there were only a few messages (less than 15 or so). But a day after re-logging in, I got another 20 messages within 24 hours. So I think active users get bumped up in their searches, and the longer you go without logging in, the lower down the list your profile appears.

Pipelining - stupid question, how do you go about it -> i mean viber and stuff works with the telephone number. I am still at home. So my viber number is my mobile phone number.
1. I guess i don't really even want them to know that
2. When i change simcard.. i will still have the contacts of viber i added before?
Do you pipeline with stuff that stays the same, eg skype or facebook or you stay on the dating site - and change to viber once you have local sim card?
How far do you go - i guess making concrete dates and them saying yes.

Ok. I have 100 messages now, and 100 that clicked the button 'show interest'.
I had some criteria for matches and i clicked 'show interest' in all of them, to lure the more motivated to write me.
Do you screen more for sex in your profile text? Do you just look through the girls messaging you first and go for most beautiful first? Do you screen by inviting them to your place in first sentence?

And i have a search filter that is of girls i want (i also clicked 'show interest' in each of them).
So. How to go about it.
I guess i will 1st go through messages and write back the ones that inspire me to do so. Then look at my own search and message them that inspire me. Then look to the ones that showed me interest.

Wanna send them short message 'Hi, how are you! I just moved in! Hey, i am not here much, but send me your number if you wanna meet sometime'
Which should leave me with a list of girls on viber.
That i invite to Mall.

Being there i guess i use Tinder, not filipinocupid anymore.
Only found out I am right next to 2 high schools. I guess this is irrelevant, don't even know how old someone in a high school is. Do you press for confirmation (id card?) that she is 18 or older before sex?

Regarding the bullet-scam on Manila airport (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-34774899) - is this only dangerous for people who fly from Manila to somewhere or also dangerous for people who arrive from somewhere at Manila?
(I have basically never flown before, i just imagined if i arrive at Manila i get my luggage - does luggage get controlled again, i guess yes? Is there the same risk?) At the url posted there is also a picture of a station where someone 'bags' your entire luggage as a protection against the bullet scam, i guess i will search for that.
Perhaps the european airport i depart from has also a 'plastic wrapping station' at the airport (although in europe i heard wrapped luggage will get more attention from security/customs).

Right now plan is just 'stay near my place, near the shopping centre'.. but perhaps i look for a guided tour in a group to somewhere nice.. i have not much idea, it's not my top priority

Dude... just goto your doctor and get a prescription for Malarone, simple as. You asked for advice, so I'm giving it. How do you want to remember the Philippines? Like this:

I also seemed to get way more messages when my FC account was unpaid vs paid.

I have to agree with you BB. Both settings are great fun, but for different reasons. Personally I get a bit of cabin fever staying in the same place over and over, and need a change of environment. I would make the same case for anyone who decided to stay exclusively in Boracay without any plans to visit the target rich places.

School girls in the Phills wear socks... Adults don't. Seriously, if you want to kid a girl about being too young, say something about her having socks on... They will immediately be "offended" that you think they are in high school.

So, check for socks.

Ok, i arrive, then i need to call my airbnb guy, to do that i need to buy a sim, to do that i highly guess i need pesos. I forgot/chose not to get some pesos beforehand. So i guess i will exchange some money on the airport - i don't know what i will find at terminal 1 at 1:00am in the morning/night, i guess there will be a bank machine.
I am in peking for 12 hours, changing planes, stupid question, perhaps there is some money exchanger that also gives me pesos for euros.. i guess not.

It means it's going to be wet my man. Girls tend to stay home in typhoons but I'm sure you can find a couple who are up for doing something. This thing will be done and over with by Thursday.
