A number of events world wide are being planned. In India Men's group are demonstrating by returning their marriage certificates in Parliament. In London, UK, there are also demonstrating against male circumcision.

The very next day, November 20, is Universal Children's Day. They emphasize that because of this, it's a 48-hour celebration of the two and the relationship they share (father and son, uncle and nephew, etc.). I think that's very cool. I see too much nowadays about mothers and their relationships with children - who cares about dads, because they don't matter. These events say otherwise.



No doubt this will rustle some SJW jimmies in the coming years, ultimately getting it banned. But while it's here, good for it.

I always think it's funny when silly fuckers like the guy writing for the Huffington Post play dumb and coy about why International Men's Day ought to be a thing, or what such a holiday should entail.

It could just be one day a year where you look at your surroundings and marvel at how much effort it took to build houses, roads, working plumbing, and think up all the inventions that make modern life possible. Men invented more or less all things mechanical and abstract.

Not because they want to take place in "egalitarian partnerships," but because women are too busy riding the carousel to settle down and more men are taking care of themselves for longer periods of bachelorhood (and simultaneously realizing housework is pretty fucking easy for all the whining women do about it).

The author is Michael Kimmel, and he's built an entire career based on denigrating on his own gender. His whole schtick seems to be constantly casting men in the worst light possible: as bunch of immature, violent, horny gorillas who refuse to modernize and get with the times.

Any complaints that men have about feminism, or modern women, he casts aside as bitterness about a loss of male privilege (which stems from our entitlement), and that men are just stubbornly clinging to outdated concepts of masculinity.

^I've never been married and no one had to teach me that shit. I have a bottle of bleach, a mop and a vacuum. I throw my clothes in the machine and push a button. I cook steaks, or Google a recipe. It's not rocket science and takes minutes out of my day.

To take it a step further, I hire a maid service and laundry service. I feel no need to domesticate myself when I can afford to pay other people.

I had an ex tell me once that she was gonna "cook up a nice dinner" for me. When I got home I found a mixing bowl with tuna salad. Apparently she had opened up a couple of cans of tuna, chopped some onions and peppers, threw it all together and called it "dinner". I was fucking furious and told her that shit was dog food.

From that moment on, I've been cooking my own meals.
