I don't know about how hard it is to fraudulently sell a house in the West. Definitely harder than in the Philippines. But I did also hear a story about a British guy whose Filipina wife managed to sell off his house in the UK without his knowledge. By the time he found out about it, the money had already been used to buy houses for all of her family in the provinces. Of course they had all moved in and he had no real legal recourse. I wonder if relatively advanced English proficiency (and therefore understanding written contracts) makes Filipinas more dangerous partners than Thais etc? Just a thought.

I think you HAVE TO assume if you have a house in her name it may get stolen. Even if she doesn't want to she may have relatives that will coerce her, even threaten her.

Sometimes not having much ( I have few assets besides a government pension) can be less stressful. There's nothing to steal. I couldn't give my pension away if I wanted to, although IRS and child support can attach it. They will not send the money to anyone but me except the above exceptions. No civil suit can reach it.

Report: Day 3 Sunday, June 28

Apologies for the falling behind on my reports lol. I might shorten up the next few reports so I can catch up.

Report: Day 4 Monday, June 29

Well my streak of a lay a day has ended, a dry spell today. In the morning I exhausted the remainder of my phone numbers form Filipino Cupid. A question about fake fb account. How do you get it to look real? ie a bunch of friends etc.

I don't have a fake fb account but I think there is a setting that makes sure your friends can't see what and how many other friends you have. I don't post much on my fb and whenever a girl asks me where all my pics are, I tell her that I like to stay mysterious or that I don't like to take pics.

Report: Day 5 Tuesday, June 30

I continued to struggle at getting my girls to meet up with me. I realize I have learned so much already in these first few days. This will help me improve in the future. I collected info and contact details for each girl on a spreadsheet. I realize now that some important categories must be added: city/suburb/district where the girls lives. Even better the Barangay number to search distances. I would also add a category about life commitments and schedule, school, work etc. Then I must determine how much time a girl might actually have to spend with me. Don't get too frustrated because A) you're still adjusting to the time difference and culture, B) being in the Philippines requires a butt load of patience.
