His 808s and Heartbreak changed music, and without it, you wouldn't have Drake making songs like the one in your post. Without Kanye West there would be no Drake, Dirty Diddy Money and other artists and songs in hip hop and r&b.

Who would believe that will.i.am would make a song like this?

I have been listening to psy trance a lot more in the past year, I found it to be extremely pleasurable music to unwind to, kind of an active meditation. I find getting lost in the rythm, acidic melodies and samples to be a sort of mind detox, if that makes any sense. So when I'm feeling a bit down, I need a song that brings me on a journey to a place of pure light and energy. I usually turn to the undisputed masters of the genre at that time, Astral Projection:
