That one song that touches you deep within your soul
And these albums, they're gloriously stunning!
I see someone already mentioned the Untrue album, my favourite album.

Kanye West made a Say You Will remix. His music changed after his mother died (after the Graduation album). He got more emotional.
His 808s and Heartbreak changed music, and without it, you wouldn't have Drake making songs like the one in your post. Without Kanye West there would be no Drake, Dirty Diddy Money and other artists and songs in hip hop and r&b.
Who would believe that will.i.am would make a song like this?

Let's not forget my favourite hip hop album. I love east coast hip hop. How did will.i.am go from this to I Gotta Feeling? He's the biggest sellout ever.

There are so many, but lately this one puts me in a very zen state, almost makes me feel stoned:
Nothing beats the Replacements except themselves.

The first one represents my struggle with depression perfectly.
The next one is how lonely I feel sometimes.
Third one represents the pain of all my relationships in the past.
The fourth one represents the acceptance of the redpill.
Good stuff.

the other Paco - Solea De Córdoba
Gotta think this guy lurks red pill websites. He's even dropped the line 'hamster' and 'leaving the matrix'. 54 Million hits. Shows red pill can be insanely popular because it speaks truth. You just have to disguise it in the right package.
I have been listening to psy trance a lot more in the past year, I found it to be extremely pleasurable music to unwind to, kind of an active meditation. I find getting lost in the rythm, acidic melodies and samples to be a sort of mind detox, if that makes any sense. So when I'm feeling a bit down, I need a song that brings me on a journey to a place of pure light and energy. I usually turn to the undisputed masters of the genre at that time, Astral Projection:
There is something about the melody, incredibly rich synths, and the speech sample used that brings me to a positive state of mind.

Lot of diversity in music taste in this thread.
Here's a playlist of some songs I listen to when feeling down.

You'll know the truth by how it feels.
My most moving track.
7 mins long and the single biggest buildup and breakdown I've ever heard.

I wanna share this waltz, composed by Anthony Hopkins (yes, the acthor from Silence of the Lambs).
Performed by André Rieu and his orchestra.
Very moving, happiness, nostalgia, different emotions in one composition.
