I actually used a quote from this song in my ROK article today:






I recall an interview with ZZ Top where they were asked about the inspiration for the song. They said the lyrics were somewhat absurd -- something one might say after a shot of white lightning.

In any event, the ending guitar solo is perfect for what it is: an expression of deep-seated, masculine pain.
