There's 5 things you never get between with an Southern alpha maleSadin no particular order)

1. His woman- This will get you shot. (unless he's tired of her)
2. His family- This will get you and shot twice. And your body won't be found.
3. His beliefs- This will get your ribs kicked in.
4. His castle- This will get you shot, then the cops might shoot you.
5. His whisky- This will get you monkey stomped. Just don't do it.

This is especially relevant in Texas.

Can confirm even in liberal heaven Houston's Montrose. All this will be done by every proud Texan also known as any person living in Texas immigrant or not. We may bash the government, bash the laws, but fuck it even a liberal here has some pride and will follow these through.

Edit: also assume every Texan is armed with atleast a .32.

We don't take our guns and lifted trucks to Disney World let alone afford to go to Disney World. You are getting too many rich oil family yuppies or unarmed folks expecting some hospitality not being shot up by eses.

I can only speak for myself, but I don't care what happens to my clothes. Clothes can be replaced. In the video, those men were living in the moment, and everything else was inconsequential. Women do care about what they wear.

I do like nice apparel, don't get me wrong, but many of my finest threads have been ruined from bike wrecks, bar fights, bitches stealing my shit, saving lives, (blood), ect. I never thought about how important those thread were in the moment. I just replaced them and moved on.

I think this is masculine thinking, as men should never covet material possessions, but I could be wrong.

Ah yes, because I'm so rich I don't care if my 3k$ suit just gets trashed, I'll just buy a new one tomorrow! Or maybe I'll wear one of the other 10 I've got hanging in my walk in closet.

Ali. That's not how it works here and you know that.

Man, if I worried about ruining clothes, cars and other things I wouldn't have half the memories I have today. When I get together with friends, we sit back and just laugh at the shit we did. Even stuff that happened over 20 years ago when we didn't have much money. No amount of money can replace those bonds.

You're talking about East Texans. That half the state is the South. West Texas is still the West and we kill it anywhere we go. Plus I got the Georgia swag, and you know how I did down there. 80% gentleman, 20% asshole. Same ratio as I like my whisky/water.

It's hereditary. The suits are built around the man.

Agreed, the whole "don't give a fuck" about your belongings rhetoric is the same as "YOLO" to me.
I buy nice things to enjoy them for as long as I can. Shining my boots, washing my nice clothes in cold water then air drying and folding them how I like, applying a fresh coat of wax to my car, etc. I enjoy doing all these things and just like maintaining my health, grooming, a nice physique, maintaining one's belongings takes discipline too.

It also takes time, so unless you're a corporate exec being flown around to meet with various clientele on a daily basis and have the bankroll for someone else to manage your wardrobe, meals, automobile(s), home(s), whatever else for you then sure you can live frivolously without taking any sort of loss.

Guys, if you are worried about the cost of replacing something you probably couldn't really afford it to begin with.

Yeah, I was in the Marines and we were meticulous on our uniforms. We learned it wasn't the dress blues you defend, but the man you are wearing them. I spent countless hours making myself presentable everyday. You're missing the point.

When you really lose something significant, like a best friend, or relative, then material items become insignificant. Worrying about your suit makes you weak, and your life will never be proper. Weakness will be exploited by your enemies. Being redpill means not sweating the small the stuff. Clothes, cars, memorabilia, are things someone can take from you. Honor and integrity, you carry to your grave. No one can ever take those from a man that carries them in their heart. Bravery spawns from that.

When you really cut the bullshit, the only thing they can take is you life and what you've accomplished. My honor is my life, and it won't be taken easily. Semper Fi.

Let's get back to the original topic instead of the "care for your things VS live in the moment" debate.

This is the commercial celebrating masculinity the most:

Yes, the music is cheesy. Little boy given instructions by his father on lifting weights at 0:19 however outweighs that by factor 100.

The commercial above from the 1980s would not be shown in our times. We are much more man-hating and the misandry is highly apparent:

Look how blatantly they are making fun of the "male experience" - the very same men that are then supposed to buy their razors.

Commercials now are blatantly mired in misandry even when men are expected to purchase the products:

I wonder when the Whiskey ads will be depicting men in a submissive fashion.

Even when the ads are now trying to be showing a "masculine side" they are showing deep Blue Pill dripping Beta:

I am sure that if Rollo ever did an ad for his Whiskey, then it would be highly different. It's not even that it's impossible to do such a thing - they are simply endemically running away from ANY POSITIVE depiction of masculinity. Our culture has become utterly and completely anti-male.
