Sihanoukville (Cambodia) Datasheet

Hello, gentlemen!

Long time lurker here. I'd like to thank you all for providing me valuable insights into traveling different parts of the globe, as well as countless hours of entertainment at work, at the expense of productivity.

I figure it's time that I gave something back to this community. I've heard Sihanoukville mentioned a few times, but the official datasheet has yet to be posted to Roosh's compendium, so let me take care of that.

I've been to Southeast Asia twice for a total of around six months. About ten days total, I posted up in the endearing town of Sihanoukville. The following is a brief summary of what I took away from my visits to Sihanoukville:

Myself:

To put things in perspective, I'm now 31 years old (visited when I was 26 the first time, 30 the second time). Good looking dude, 5'11 athletic build. My game is mediocre, but I'm constantly working on it.

Describing Sihanoukville:

Sihanoukville was a sleepy beach town the first time I went (2009), with a minimal backpacker presence. The next time I visited (2013), there was a significant upgrade in development. There are a few higher end hotels that have set up shop, and you'll even find some families on vacation there, as well as older couples. There's now a boardwalk, connecting the beach bars, whereas before, our bar crawls were sandy hiking adventures, walking a quarter mile along the beach to get to the next bar. But there are a ton of bars and restaurants that line the beach now, catering mostly to the backpacker crowd. I'd say that it's pretty split between foreigners and Cambodians (mostly Cambodian girls, wanting to hook up with white dudes). The vibe is festive at nights (even during the less touristy rainy season), and exudes positive energy. Everybody is just having a good time. Noticed a lot of Aussies moreso than other nationalities, and if drinking isn't enough to satisfy your wild side, you can buy yourself a hit of N02 gas for I believe, was two dollars. Speaking of ridiculously low prices....

Costs:

Let's call a spade a spade. Part of the reason why so many of us come to Asia in the first place is the generous prices, to which Cambodia is no exception. Scratch that, Cambodia puts even Thailand to shame in that aspect. It's cheap as fuck to the point that I've had several scooter taxi dudes fighting over the right to take me across town for a three dollar trip.

Everything is cheap in Cambodia, and although Sihanoukville, (a now-touristy/backpacker beachtown) is more expensive than other parts of the country, you can still get shots of cheap liquor for a dollar apiece on the boardwalk beaches and wash it down with a dollar beer.

Even if you're set on spending as much money as humanly possible, you'll still be hard-pressed getting to 100 dollars a day without tacking on senseless purchases. Lodging is probably the biggest expense. I spent ten dollars a night on a midrange hotel (forget the name), and meals ranged from 2-5 dollars. A few beach-side restaurants offered seafood kebab specials for five dollars a plate. That was our standard pregame meal before hitting the nightlife.

Nightlife:

The town has a vibrant nightlife. When I went in 2014, it was during the offseason/rainy season, and there were still a bunch of people out. "Dolphin", I believe was the most popular venue, packed mostly with foreigners (80 percent or so), dancing around like glowstick twirling retards (not judging - I joined some nights). They may as well rename the venue to "come here if you want to hook up". Like mentioned before, it's more of a backpacker town than anything, so I think the younger dudes would appreciate it moreso than the more elderly gentlemen. Though, even at 30, I didn't feel out of place at all around the 18-24 year olds. Much of it is just whether you can cut loose and party, and I'm pretty good at that after a few beers.

Girls:

Obviously this is subjective, as everybody's got their own preferences, but I'm a big fan of Cambodian girls. Using Thai girls as a baseline, I found them to be slightly shorter, have bigger boobs and butts, and slightly darker skin. I prefer them to Thais. Around Sihanoukville, most of them speak conversational English, or even better. Lots of foreigners employ Cambodian girls at their bars, and in turn, learn English through their bosses and by sleeping with foreigner after foreigner after foreigner.

Seriously, if you're an average looking white guy and you cannot get laid in this town, you need to seriously revamp your game.

To describe one of my lays, the story starts off with a buddy and I innocently playing pool with these two Cambodian girls and one of them just out of the blue asked my friend if he wanted a BJ. She wanted money, but he convinced her to do it for free ("shoring", I believe is the vernacular around here) during their walk back to the hotel room. Left alone, I used my free time to hit up one of the more popular bars and meet some people. I struck up a conversation with an Australian couple and convinced them to play some beer-pong with me. This is actually a game tactic of mine, as I now need a partner. So I start asking cute girls if they want to partner up and play some beerpong with us. An absolute stunner Norwegian girl (a 9) agrees, and we lose badly. I flirt a little bit, but she seemed a little stand-offish. I figure I'd have my best shot at her by socializing and talking to other girls to stoke her jealousy fires a bit. During our beerpong game, I noticed a cute Cambodian girl, watching the game intently, giving me the "bambi eyes". I know that's a guaranteed lay. She was a solid 6.5-7, wearing a backwards baseball hat, with short shorts. Kind of tom-boy looking, but super young. I find out she's 20 years old. We start talking a bit, and start dancing. As I'm dancing with her, I notice she's actually hotter than I first gave her credit for. Her casual shorts and tee shirt covered what was some serious T and A. She's been upgraded to a 7.5-8 in my mind. After some grinding, I go for the makeout, as we're on top of the stage, in plain view, with a few other people letting loose, and I'm secretly hoping that the hot Norwegian girl sees us. I'm actually sporting some serious wood now from the grinding (I hide it by slipping it under my basketball shorts' waist-line, like a boss. Fashion is irrelevant in this town, dark jeans and a polo is overdressing), and I decide to strike while her buying temperature is high. I suggest having a few beers at my room and she obliges. I don't actually have any alcohol in my room, but I've got other liquids that she can feast on, if ya know what I mean.

During the five minute walk to my room, I'm realizing that my friend might still be in there with his girl (stupidly, we decided to share a room). I knock on the door to find out, and he responds "Give me a minute!" They wrap it up, leave, and then we have a go at it. She's a dirty little girl, who does everything I want. It's worth mentioning that if you're going to fool around with these girls, TO USE A CONDOM. This girl, I found out, let's just say that I wasn't the only traveler that she was hooking up with. But she was cute, fun, pleasant to be around, and loved putting my weiner in her mouth, which I appreciate.

My friend had a similar experience with his girl (her name was "Beyonce", haha). She was quite the looker as well. An 8, I'd say, with a serious booty. Funny story, his girl insisted that he shaved his beard before they hooked up. He didn't want to, from laziness, she still insisted, and then she actually did it for him while he lay in bed, fingering her. A final word on Sihanoukville local women is that they get clingy, which is great if you want a short term girlfriend, annoying if you want to fool around with multiple girls. "My" girl actually confronted me because she'd heard that I hooked up with another local girl the following night, which was hilarious, as I knew she was banging other travelers. Anyways, they get a little clingy.

Overall in the 10 or so days I've been in that town, I've gotten three lays - 2 Cambodians and 1 Aussie. All were in the 7-8 range and from nightlife. Many will be "sponsored", I believe is the term for it. Some foreign high roller owns property in town or something, pays for her rent, and has a guaranteed lay every time he comes to that part of the world, having other girls lined up in other parts of the world whenever he pleases.

Overview:

Sihanoukville is a ton of fun for a short stay, but I couldn't imagine living there more than a few weeks. Once you get away from the main touristy area, it's quite poor, the deeper you go into town. I didn't stray too much away from the beaten path, but there was some nightlife left untouched that I noticed on a scooter ride to a restaurant we ate at a few times. Speaking of, it's probably best that you do NOT rent a scooter like you can in many other parts of Asia, as the roads are unreliable (pavement is inconsistent and loose gravel litters some stretches) and I noticed a checkpoint to check for drunk drivers, as well as drivers licenses, though I can't imagine it would cost more than ten bucks to pay off a cop.

The food kind of sucks in Cambodia, when compared to other parts of Asia, but the aforementioned restaurant that we hit up, was excellent. The joint's called "Snake House Restaurant and Hotel", which is worth a visit.

There's other stuff to do besides gaming and the beach. Sihanoukville has two casinos in town, and I think there's a hundred dollar sit and go tournament that runs every night. I tried partaking one night, but I was kindly asked to leave the venue, as I was staggeringly drunk, and bleeding all over the place from having cut my foot on some glass earlier in the night with my flip flops (dress up if you're going to gamble - show you're a higher value man, as the more high society Cambodians come here).

For us sporty dudes, there's also a cheap gym that has a decent weights section. Squat racks, dumbells, olympic lifting equipment, with a few punching bags (Cambodians, while not as reknowned for their kickboxing as their Thai neighbors, do still have their fair share of kickboxers), and treadmills. I'm sure that you can take up some kickboxing classes in town if you'd like for pretty cheap.

That's about all I've got for now. Girls are pretty, costs are cheap, it's a party-laden beach town, and developing quite rapidly, though losing its luster for the adventurer who wants to get off the beaten path.

In the future, I plan on adding a another few datasheets, as I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to some really awesome parts of that continent. Everywhere from Southern Thailand (Ao Nang, in the Krabi province is unbelievably gorgeous) to North Vietnam (a 3 day Ha Long Bay bay cruise was a highlight of my life), and some Laotian adventures in between. Ask and I shall provide, when I get enough free time.

I'm passionate about Asia, and planning a sustainable move there by the end of 2015, as I feel it's one of the parts of the world where women are still women who actually push themselves to look pretty and feminine, and men are free to be independent or settle down, their choice. Not urged by land-whale feminists with the sex appeal of an avacado, who at every turn on social media outlets, shame men to settle down, "man up" and pedestalize some princess who's going to gain two pounds a year for the next decade. I'm a decent enough writer, and I plan on creating my own type of blog, opening western guys' minds to the possibilities abroad.

Another thanks to you all, as men like the RSD crew (Tyler/Julien and company), Roosh, and others have opened my eyes to another style of living, a different path in life, than that of the brainwashed masses.

I plan my move in October and I hope to pimp it with some of you fellas in the future. In Asia, and maybe elsewhere if I'm fortunate enough in my finances - Latin America, Central Asia, Eastern Europe all intrigue me....

Great first post!

Have you done the Thai party islands? Koh Phangan, Samui, Phi Phi? If so, how would you rank them against Sihanoukville in terms of which you enjoyed most?

I've done Thailand before but only did the Eastern islands - Samui/Phangan. Planning to go back again this year to see Phi Phi as I've heard its better, but would be interested to hear how you'd rank them in comparison to Sihanoukville. A few guys have told me that Phi Phi has better ratios than Samui/Phangan, and is general a better time...but none of them have any Cambodia experience though.

Thanks man!

I've done Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, and Koh Chang...but not Phi Phi, and I would personally rank Sihanoukville up there, tied with Koh Chang as my favorite Asian experiences of the four. But it really all depends on what you're looking for and what you enjoy. I'm looking to get off the beaten path, away from the backpackers and immerse myself into a different culture than most travelers, I figure.

Regarding ratios, I think they're always going to be bad if you're hunting solely for western girls. More dudes are comfortable traveling alone for months at a time than girls are. So I don't think the ratios will be that much different wherever you go. But lucky for us, the local asian girls skew the numbers back to our liking [Image: banana.gif]

You've been to Koh Samui and Phangan, so I don't need to give you the rundown on them, but if you're curious about Koh Chang, I'll say that you'll find it much more difficult to hook a Thai girl there (I find they don't mingle with the farangs as much as they do on the other islands - more traditional values?), yet easiest to bag yourself a backpacker than on the other islands if you stay at Lonely Beach (note: do NOT go during rainy season. I stayed seven days during my second go-around, and it rained every second of every day, true bummer. And nobody was there.).

Hope that answers some questions.

My preference is actually probably a bit of an oddity for this forum. My friends I usually travel with are big into the local girls, but they do nothing for me. So my main priority is gaming western girls (yeah yeah I know they're awful, and objectively I agree, but you cant help what you're attracted to eh...).

I found the ratios on Koh Phangan (Haad Rin specifically) were OK for any night apart from the Full Moon Party itself. The FMP was pretty bad - overcrowded, bad ratios etc. Really enjoyed Haad Rin on the other nights though. Just a lot of people getting really drunk on cheap booze in a warm country. Koh Samui (in Chaweng beach) was just bad all round though - maybe 80/20 ratios in the bars when I was there. And overdeveloped and sleazy. Lovely airport, though.

I've actually never even heard of Koh Chang before, I'll have to go off and do more research on it! Thanks.

Good data sheet for someone passing through.

Just to throw some tips in from someone who spent a bit more time there (over a year and a half in Cambo and a couple months in Snooky), some of that is a bit off. No worries as that's expected when you're passing through.

There are actually some decent gyms in town for a long-termer who wants to get good workouts.

I also disagree about Cambodia food (or Sihanoukville food) being shitty. That reputation exists, but it just takes a bit more time to seek out the good food - it's nowhere near as accessible as Thailand, and Thailand is a hard comparison to begin with.

Ask any guy who has joined me for grub in Cambo, though, and I think they'll assure you I showed them some tasty vittles. Or if anyone is coming through Siem Reap, feel free to shoot me a message for the challenge and I assure you that if you''re at least somewhat adventurous we will eat well.

The nicer places especially can give Thailand a run for their money, but I also eat in the street shacks on a daily basis and there are plenty of dishes I enjoy. If you wanted to live in Snooky, you would of course know where these good spots were and would not be lacking in delicious food.

There's also a lot of great foreign cuisines from around the world in Cambodia because it's so easy for foreigners to open a biz here.

Regarding the town, the place was crawling with backpackers both times I went, but there are plenty of off-the-track spots deeper in town. The islands, while touristy, are also a must-visit, and there's a lot of great motorbike rides to be had in the surrounding countryside.

Those beach girls are indeed dirty dirts - if you're looking for something better, there are a few local clubs deeper in the town. I wouldn't advocate it as a player's paradise unless you're into the tourist women rolling through or are drunk and just trying to have a good time and don't care what types of women you're sleeping with - no judge as I've certainly done my share of that.

I've also heard the beach can be dangerous late at night and every long-term expat I met told me to stay away and said getting knocked over the head and robbed in the wee hours of the morning was not uncommon. That said, my first time I went for a couple weeks and was down there trashed every night and had no issues.

Some tasty beach grub for ya (don't know the girl - we just shared a table with her). 10 for $5 and right on the touristy beachfront.

I think I better do a blog writeup on Cambodian food because I've been taking photos for a couple months just for the purpose of defeating that common misunderstanding about the food.

I'd fully agree that if you know where to go, food in Cambo is quite nice. You get the normal SE asian fare, french restaurants, sushi places, and of course, as much fresh tropical fruit as you can handle (which long term is a secret to staying youthful in my opinion). I love the Cambo diet, which has basically no processed foods. The only processed food I had in Cambo was the liquor.

I'd lob in some intel on the Cambo food sheet, just from my experiences market hopping in PP. Not sure if the collective experience is worth its own thread, but maybe you can combine it with your vblog thread (taps fingers on table).

Strip away judeo-christian ethics ingraining sex is dirty/bad & the idea we're taking advantage of these girls disintegrates. Once you've lost that ethical quandary (which it isn't outside religion) then they've no reason to play the victim, you've no reason to feel the rogue. The interaction is to their benefit.

Please do this. That Cambodian breakfast video was pretty interesting. Cambodian cuisine is something i've always been curious about. I'm going to guess that clear fish soup is flavored with tamarind? If so that's very laotian and northeastern Thai style as well.

If you aren't on a strict budget, up that main street that runs perpendicular to the beach, there is a Greek/Mediterranean place called Olive and Olive [or something]. Run by a Greek (or Italian) guy and his son.

After eating nothing but Cambodian food for a while, I had the Cordon Bleu. Absolutely amazing.

Months later we ate there a second time when they were very busy, and I was so high I couldn't effectively communicate. Shitty bush weed some how destroyed me. Anyways, The quality was a step down for sure. Go on a night when they're slow and have time to perfect the food.

One thing that I left out in my original post, and perhaps BB could comment on...

Beware sketchy ATM's in Sihanoukville. By that, I mean that I tried withdrawing 100 bucks once during my second stay and the money didn't come out, yet it was deducted from my account. I avoided that ATM for the remainder of my trip.

I'm not sure if this is a common phenomenon, or if I just got unlucky, but Beyond Borders, have you been ripped off by any ATM's over there? I've never had that experience in the US.

^That has never happened to me, but I've heard some horror stories. I did have one swallow my card once, though. I never got around to replacing it and then lost my wallet, with my other card in it, a few months later. What a headache that was...

Does Sihanoukville get busy every night of the week? My tentative plans have me hitting it on a Sunday-Wednesday after a weekend spent in Phnom Penh. (Thoughts on Sihanoukville vs. PP for Thurs/Fri/Sat?) I only have about 10 days total in Cambodia.

You will have no problems finding a place to drink your face off for next to nothing, while being surrounded by hot, young ass in a boisterous beach bar any day of the week ESPECIALLY during this time of year.

Man I just don't see the beach party stuff you guys are referring to in SHV. I mean I see it, but it's really sad and pathetic.

The only bar with backpackers (really with anyone) drinking is Big Easy and 90% of the girls in there are untouchables. The other 10% are decent (but not stunners). The one or two standouts I open are always either with a boyfriend or in a group of one or two other girlfriends. It's awkward as fuck to open them in Big Easy too bc it's bright and everyone watches you so it looks like you're a sleazy pickup artist unless you waste your whole night in there drinking and smoking to be social which is hard bc the boat trips mostly leave early. The hotter girls are NOT drinking to get drunk and party either. They clear out by 10pm. What's left is unbangable western fatties who have been drinking since 2pm.

Down at the beach it's about the same. It only heats up there later at night, but again it's mostly unbangable girls. The one or two hot white girls I approach always have a boyfriend I didn't notice nearby or a group of friends who cockblock. You can certainly bang untouchable fatties if that's your thing. Maybe it's heaven for that. Scratching my head...

Tonight I opened local three set at dinner and they invited me to have beers later at the beach. But the cute one barely spoke english and wasn't up for anything so I ejected after my beer and some light kino. She was maybe a 7 at best. Dudes in her group were cool but started cockblocking after I kino'ed her and one kept trying to get me to buy her roses from those annoying kids who come around.

I've been here on a Monday and Tuesday but it's in season and Sea Party is coming up so I think this is the busiest time of year. I can't imagine staying here any longer than I have to in order to see the islands. Cambodia really depresses me. I think the killing of the intellectual generation can still be felt. Most chicks strike me as being really uneducated and of average to lower intelligence. They can be totally sweet but still you notice it. Like their grasp of abstract discussion is limited to an 8th graders.

Cambodia in general has to be one of the worst countries for pu I've ever been to. In fact I think having game works against you here. When I start gaming them they realize I'm just interested in sex but not paying so they're like hmm I'm gonna go get an old man. Or they just don't take me serious when I say I'm not paying and they still try to negotiate last minute.

Every girl I talk to says shit like I'm not a prostitute but if I have sex I want money. Or they're delusional about boyfriends who live in other countries that are coming back. Lots of them even have 50+ year old men they fuck for pocket money so at best you're sharing them...

To be fair in PP I did meet a student virgin who asked me to be her boyfriend (but no sex before marriage). I met some other girls with normal jobs who fucked me off Tinder (all chubby 6-7s). I even met a girl with a normal job at Pontoon who made a point of always paying to prove to me she wasnt a prostitute. Still, I think Cambodia has got to be one of the most distressing places in Asia because of the socioeconomics of sex here.

I'm going to have to finally chime in here and mostly agree with the above post after my 1-week stay in Sinville. While I have a far more positive impression of the place in general (the combination of quality food, easy logistics, great atmosphere/community make it my #1 spot in the world to just zone out) the women were honestly a mediocre experience. In fact, I had wrote a mini-datasheet on Sinville before but never got around to posting it.

Like he says, prostitution is overwhelming and affects your pickup greatly. White chicks were all over me but local Cambodian girls were bitchy as fuck. Even during New Years Eve beach party the good girls stick to their own communities (there's a separate section of beach for them) and the rest of them are working. Due to the prostitutes, any "normal girl" who has sex with you believes she is being cheated for not getting $$, and that if she does take $$ for sex then she'd be classified with the hookers. It's a no-win situation.

I want to believe the stories of OP's post, and I do, but he and his buddy are either incredibly good-looking or these were very extreme circumstances. Those stories are not typical.

I'm on the beach at one of the small islands off SHV. For $15 they shuttle you to three places with lunch and snorkel gear. Not bad. Jumped off the roof of boat and saw awesome coral. Now they're cooking up lunch while I laze in the hammock and contemplate the meaning of life.

I think what has me so annoyed with Cambodia is the lack of solo foreign female travelers + generally low quality of local girls coupled with prostitution. There is actually a good reason for this.

I've thought back to my epic trip last winter. Started in Sichuan > Yunnan > Laos > Thailand > Japan > Laos > Thailand > Japan. Flew into Chengdu. Gamed off Tinder despite staying next to LKF clubs. Didn't need to bother since I new girls from previous trip who took me out almost daily and paid for everything too. Flew to Lijiang and saw an mltr there. She flew with me down to Xishuangbanna. From there flew to Luang Prabang. Stayed in a hostel. Met a Chinese girl in my bunk to split a private room with. Made her my gf but also managed to stay out all night one night and bang a solo French chick too. Went with her to Vang Vieng where I learned to rent and ride moto. Ditched her in Vientiane as picked up a beautiful local (almost assumed she had to be a lady boy she was so hot). She travels with me whole country down to 4,000 islands. Cross into Thailand. Slay a bunch of isan girls. Fly to Bangkok and bang a bunch of tinder girls. Fly to Japan and see my girl there.

Weather was against me as it was too cold in China and too hot in Thailand. So this winter I decided to do the reverse by starting in south and working my way north as it gets warmer.

My mistake was flying from Tokyo to PP. I should have flown to Siem Reap and started there. Like LP in Laos it's a way better intro to the culture than both country's shitty capitols.

Other thing I didn't think about is the route other travelers take. Most people are doing the lonely planet route flying into bkk then to Chang rai. Then into Laos and by river to LP then same route I took last winter down Laos. But from 4,000 islands they head to Cambodia.

The Chinese girl I met in Luang Prabang was in this route. As was almost every traveler I met in Laos. When I was done with here she was able to hook up with other travelers but she did say something to indicate that by cambodia all the good guys had coupled up with all the good girls. She had to settle for a dumb American dude who couldn't drive a moto and crashed her lol.

Since I've been here I also noticed that there's a fair number of travelers on a different route that goes from BKk to Vietnam via cambodia. Mostly seem to be French and many only stop in PP and Angkor. I guess doing the former colonies.

Another thing that probably hurts my game is cambodia seems to be a grunge traveler place. In dark jeans a t-shirt and flip flops I'm still overdressed.

In SHV at night I busted down to my convertible pants and I'm still overdressed. Most tourists have either no shirt or a tank top. Showing off their awful tattoos and mostly horribly out of shape bodies. True story one girl asked me if I was from a conservative family bc I was wearing pants! I was like uh no I'm just from New York where no one dresses like a slob, even on vacation. Plus there's mosquitos, sand flies, risk of skinning yourself falling off a moto or touching the exhaust pipe. I almost mentioned and rapid dogs biting bc she had a big bite scar on her leg but thought it'd be rude lol.

Anyway lunch just came so about to chow down. I'd recommend bringing a girl to Cambodia. The island beaches really are beautiful and romantic to share with a girl you actually care about. I assume I'll feel the same about Angkor.

First sensible thing you have written. I went Siem Reap and skipped the rest of the country.

Reading your posts reminds kind of like the guy complaining about the food at MacDonald's.
If you keep your expectations in check and you be fine. [Image: idea.gif]

Cambodia is at least 30 years behind Thailand... your comparing Apples & Oranges.

I thought the food in Sihanoukville was pretty decent, assuming you like seafood. Grilled scallops on the half-shell, cooked over an open flame at one of the beach bars were like $2-3 for 10 of them. Also tried grilled squid on a stick, grilled fish cooked multiple ways, etc etc. All very cheap and really tasty. Of course some of the bar food esp at touristy places was mediocre. But that is to be expected. Overall, fun place! I spent about 10 days there, and got pretty bored. Agree that Siem Reap has a much better lifestyle if you can give up the beach.

When did I ever compare cambodia to Thailand? Only mentioning the route SE Asia travelers take usually doesn't start or end in Cambodia. So it's harder to get on a roll if you start here bc most everyone you meet is halfway through their trip.

Just left SHV. On a minibus to Kampot. Then Kep. Badoo Khmer girl in kampot wants me to threesome with her boyfriend expat. She's fat and not pretty. 5 at best. Sex talked her but had to.be honest I wasn't interested. Asked her if she has any girlfriends for me. She got pised lol.

I Was so bored and depressed last night. Lady boy gets lipstick all over my face. Normally I'd tell her to fuck off but I was felling the fake tits on the street. In exchange for letting her try to kiss me as I ducked my head side to side. Guess who's watching. The local girl from night before who declines my offer for alone time. Fuck.

I decided to slum. Didn't help. Got shitfaced at Big Easy. Talking to overweight bar girl on beach and she gets pissed when I interrupt her recomemndation to say please don't tell me big easy as I was just there and it's a loser convention. Didn't help when I go on to say cambodia in general doesn't seem to be able to retain much quality. She couldn't give me any reason she liked being their besides the prices.

That the best thing EVERYONE says is how cheap this or that is. Oh yeah great reason to visit. What are you a retired granny pensioner? Few seem actually interested in the culture and history besides a short trip to killing fields. I think most female tourists are oblivious how hard it is for a man to spend time there when ur choices are limited to mediocre (but cheap) whores and backpackers who've never seen the inside of a gym.

I chatted up two Khmer girls from Koh Khrong. They get two days off a month and make $130. They usually go to Sihanoukville. Mistake to game cute one as she's getting free drinks from guy working there. Nice dude and spoke Cambodian but was punching above his weight class with her. She told me they met several times and hadn't banged. Her friend was a shy mouse with barely any English.

Opened a skinny young German with god awful new age tats. Her friend said please try to nail her bc I hate her BF lol. She was digging me but would only bounce to the beach.

She was a full moon party kind of girl. Decent body by you can see why her facial looks led her into the alternative hippy lifestyle where she can switch from a 6-7 to an 8-9. Beach was god awful as usual. Got bored. Tried to open the tinder girl I rejected. She reacted well to my kisses but her friend interferes and tells me to fuck off brings her into the fat girl/shemale dance circle. I go to bed.

Took boat today to koh rong. More hot foreigners there in first 5 minutes than all 3 nights in SHV. Should've stayed a night but there's nothing to do there and none of the girls I saw on beach was solo. All couples or groups of friends.

There's a disconnect. You talk about culture and history and then spend your nights drinking away at the tourist dumps.

Come on bro, let's be honest now. People have told you BKK is 45 mins away by air.

Kinda weird to push Thailand so heavy in a thread about cambodia, no?

Though the comparison to pattaya and islands was helpful since that was my inkling. I had an isan girl I banged in ubon invite me for a month in Phuket this summer while she did an internship. She tried telling me how wild and crazy it was. I was like yeah right I bet all you're doing is drinking on the beach every night. And in the day this white boy will fry!

I do like Thailand. Ive lived in Bangkok several times. Have free place to stay there. Have attractive girls waiting for me whenever i pass through. Have a few more in isan from a motorbike trip there last winter.

Hmm disconnect?. I don't like advertising my professional life and artistic endeavors on a forum, but I make videos around the world. Have channels on Laos, Thailand, and currently Cambodia. If you want to see you can message me for links. When I go to a country of area I literally visit every point of interest and make poignant videos on it. I don't run away if the bangs aren't a cakewalk. That's secondary and I have plenty of MLTRs in other countries I can go stay with if I want quality sex on a daily basis.

Kampot is actually a nice town. My favorite so far. Stayed 4 nights. Two hours from Sihanouk. Nice pepper farms, bokor national park, caves, a few waterfalls, and kep is an hour south (not much to see don't bother doing more than a day trip there).

Friday night everyone goes across river to banyan tree. Saturday to naga just next to it. There was one hottie a girl from Russia living here but my open kinda just fizzled when I started screening for DTF and she went back to her friends.

Crowd here is less beach bum than Sihanouk for sure. But most people dancingto live music in Banyan tree were shorts, t shirt, barefoot. Khmer and expat crowd here is tight. Lots of mixed relationships. A few decent Khmer girls seemed single. Opened one but lost interest quick and was tired from driving 50km up to bokor so left early.

You can rent a motorbike in kampot for $4 and drive everywhere yourself. The firefly night river cruise is temporarily banned by govt bc the boat sank!

There is one Khmer club across river too. Dragon something. Fri at 1am I walked in as the only group of girls was walking out to
Their motorbikes. Sat was more packed but no one dancing around same time.

Recommend rusty keyhole for their generous portions of ribs. Ate a full rack with baked potato every night for $8! Seeing hands massage does great work an hour masage is $5. The japanese massage really works your back and legs. Try to get the man bc he gave much stronger pressure than the girl who felt
MOre like a back rub.

As far as gaming girls, I guess for some of you, its a matter of pride that you wouldn't pay for sex and I get it. OTOH many of these so called "grey girls" are comparable to a western girl here that goes out for casual sex, meaning, they are decent girls, not professionals, but they have needs. Many girls working at a massage parlor or cleaning rooms might barely make $100 a month. Its not really the same as paying a girl for sex in the west. Why not just cough up a few bucks for her, she needs it.
