I generally just have oatmeal with some protein powder mixed in there, coffee, and about six eggs if I have the time.

Glass of water with vitamin C powder mixed in, 50mg zinc, and greek yogurt. Keep it pretty simple.
Vitamin C for general health and preventing myself from getting sick, zinc for boost in immune system + myriad of other benefits and greek yogurt for protein and carbs.

I second everyone saying skip breakfast. I've always been someone who was never hungry in the morning. As a kid, my parents would make me eat cereal or oatmeal before going to school. I hated eating in the morning.
I rarely eat anything before noon. I've never followed IF, but I function best when only eating 1 or 2 meals a day. The other day, it was almost 4 PM before I realized I hadn't eaten anything.
I only have black coffee or pre-workout in the mornings. Then I hit the gym and go for a run. Whenever I eat in the AM, especially carbs, I feel groggy and lethargic.
Try only eating lunch and dinner. It might take a few days to get used to, but you'll have more energy in the long run. If you are really struggling with it, have either a protein shake or a protein bar in the morning.
It also cuts a lot of calories out of your diet if you are trying to lose weight. You can have two big meals that are 1000 calories each and not feel like you are dieting or restricting yourself in any way.

Make this right before bedtime, throw it in the fridge for 7 hours and you'll have a great breakfast in the AM. SSSS - shit, shower, shave, smoothie. Then off to work on a wave of high energy. For lack of a better name, let's call it the
MAGA SMOOTHIE
1 avocado
1 lime
1 banana
2 servings of protein powder
2-3 tbsp oatmeal
Frozen blueberries
Frozen sea buckthorn (if available where you are, great source of Vitamin C)
0,5-1 carton of milk
Blend for a few minutes. If you don't mind fibers you can add some pomegranate as well.

3-4 raw eggs, brown, preferably locally sourced, and that is the whole meal.
Or
2 fillets of wild caught fish cooked in a pan with a small amount of water, nothing else, no butter no oils and no spices
Or
2 granny smith apples, preferably labeled "organic". Eat the entire apple, core and seeds and skin. Nothing else added.
Or
2-6 cups of raw cow milk. Nothing else added.

I also generally don't eat breakfast in the morning. If you're not hungry, don't eat.
However, in that case that you are fiending something every morning, pick one of the following:
- carrot dipped in peanut butter
- granola doused in raw coconut oil
- cheese stick + mustard wrapped in lettuce
Each of these takes literally a minute to "make" and you can be on the go. Remember to take your zinc.

skip it,
I believe in the caveman diet, without refrigeration, you would not be able to achieve this diet.
The Japanese as a country don't eat breakfast, and I consider them to be smart and successful.
Instead have a big lunch and dinner.
Why?
In order to fast and burn some abs fat off, and too give you stomach a break.

Skip breakfast altogether except for coffee/tea/water. Eat extra during the afternoon and evening. Lean gains.

Intermittent Fasting ... works for me ... haven't had breakfast in years except in very few exceptions such as when on vacation and it is included in the hotel .... fast for at least 15 hours, then pig out.

I've posted this before, but this is excellent:
Bacon and Egg Breakfast Chili
A pot of this will last me a few days.
Not on here much anymore. I'm either out on 2 wheels or trying to kill something.

I do oats with a serving of peanut butter (peanuts, salt only ingredients) and a serving of protein powder. To be clear I eat this all mixed together. A bit lower on fat, but overall, a good balance to start the day. It holds me over for a while. This helps me hit my macro goals day to day.

A couple things I really enjoy for breakfast, all involve a superb freshly ground/brewed/roasted black coffee made via a V60.
Three eggs soft scrambled with cocnut oil, sea salt, and toasted sourdough/country loaf smothered with either say cultured butter or a half of a ripe avocado (at times mashed and dressed with fresh crumbled feta), seasoned with good sea salt. Side of freshly cut pineapple.
Breakfast sandwich with house-roasted red peppers, a fried egg, garlic aoli, fresh arugula, and tangy melted white cheddar served on a nice crispy baguette. Side of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice.
I like to have a nice mix of carb, protein, and fat for breakfast with something acidic (fruit/coffee) to cut through the fat. This helps me with energy during the day and definitely with starting energy reserves for longer outdoor runs later in the day.

This doesn't make a lot of sense to eat a big dinner in my experience. I eat big early for breakfast OR lunch (never both) so my body has time to fully digest by the time I'm ready for bed. If you eat big before bed, you're not exactly giving your system a break. I find when I eat big later at night, my sleep quality is abysmal and the food gets more stored as fat due to inproper digestion. Think about how the "freshman 15" happens. It's basically due to late-night carb binging with improper time for digestion.
Don't knock it until you tried every diet or workout.
Fasting has tremendous benefits.
Ask Yoga expert's or yogi's about fasting and skipping breakfast.
However for athletes and mma fighters, it is not good idea, due to lack of carbs.

I typically have a bowl of granola with skim milk and a scoop of protein powder.
Definitely do not skip breakfast if you're trying to gain muscle mass. Overnight fasting puts your body in a catabolic state, and you need to break that fast to go back to an anabolic state. In fact some serious body builders will wake up in the middle of the night for a meal.

Id avoid granola. You're likely to get cross contamination with wheat and soy during processing. Plus the processing of oils and added sugars will damage your heart and raise your blood sugar thus spiking your insulin first thing in the morning.
Skim milk? If you can tolerate milk at least go whole if not use heavy cream. But keep in mind milk will make you gain weight and is linked to cancer. Baby cows drink it, but humans and especially grown men really ought not to.
I switched years ago to a later, savory first meal and I love how I look and feel. Mine is usually 3-4 medium boiled eggs, a few slices of Fork in the Road Pastrami, some diced tomatoes, sprinkle turmeric, iodized and sea salt to taste. I avoid simple carbs until after noon and follow closer to a 8-10 hour eating window. I'm not lifting heavy, more leaning out.
In the late afternoon I make a protein shake with 2 scoops Promix whey, 3 raw eggs, some Great Lakes collagen, Maca powder, cacao powder, a banana, muscodine extract (powerful anti-oxidant), trace minerals, decaf coffee, about 1/3 packet of Rebound FX from Youngevity, few drops of anise and almond extract with a little added raw honey or maple syrup. It's perhaps an odd-sounding blend but I really like it.
I make sure to take a 30-45 min walk everyday usually between 11a-2p. It's really important to walk after eating to help your body metabolize the calories instead of storing them.
My energy level is stable throughout the day.

If you can't do savory in the morning just go smoothie - fast and dirty and you can put a whole ton of shit in there. Usually fruit, berries, protein, raw eggs (depending where you source them), spices of your choice, nuts, milk. Lots of good calories and doesn't require you to wake up early. Otherwise fast. Breakfast is hands down the easiest meal of the day.
