So I have a question but it can't really be answered, here or from Tinder themselves. My only hope is that, as they get bigger and more mainstream, they go the okc route and run a blog where they get at least somewhat transparent about their algorithm process and answer some of the more common questions people seem to have. Like if making a new Facebook and having 0 friends affects how well the app works for you, if mass swiping hurts your chances, etc.
Anyway here's my question.
As said before, I don't get any matches in my area anymore. The only time I get matches is when I drive into the city. Now, let's say I'm only in the city for a few hours and swipe some girls. Some of whom are not active when I am. Then, I drive home, out of their range. I drive back into the city a day or two later, now I'm back in range. If there are girls who didn't see me the first day because they weren't on at that time -- will they see me then?
Because when I drive into the city now, I always hope the gps tells tinder I'm back in range, and my swipe history is saved. So that any girls who missed me the first time, all they have to do is swipe right and I'll get the alert since I swiped right on them a few days prior. Unfortunately that has never happened. If I don't get the match then and there that day, and I drive out of range, that's it. I've never had a delayed match coming back into the city.
My guess is that, once you're out of your range, you get refreshed. I know this all sounds a bit jumbled so let me try to break it down best I can.
-I drive to the city and set my radius to 5 miles
-Swipe right on girls in that radius and get matched with girls who have their max radius set to 5 miles, or 10 miles at the most
-Not every girl is active when I am, so they haven't seen my profile yet
-Drive back home (about 15 miles) now out of their range
-Drive back into the city the next day, now back in range again, for the girls who would have swiped right on me had they seen me the other day
This is what I'm hoping happens:
-Girls who missed me day one now see me again in their area day two, we match once they swipe me because I swiped on them the day before
But my gut tells me this is what happens:
-Everything gets refreshed because I left the area, so it's like I'm in a new area and need to start a whole new cycle of swipes.
Because like I said, I've never just driven into the city and got alerted. However, back when I used to get matches at home, I would wake up to matches because, I was in the radius the entire time. Never left.
I think once you leave, you get refreshed. Which sucks, because I'm not in the city all day so I only have a window of a few hours and just have to hope a bulk of the girls are online at that time.

^ That gut explanation makes sense. Why don't you try a GPS spoof app for a week leaving your location in the city the entire time and see if that affects your results.

Good idea. Have any good ones? I tried this mass liker app, forget the name but the icon was the tinder flame logo on some bulked out dude. It allowed you to change your location for 10 minutes. I was really excited. First place I tried was Miami. But it said no one in my area. Then I had to wait 10 minutes, tried NYC, again, no one in my area. So for whatever reason, it bugged out on me. I wasn't shown a single profile.
I think I would prefer to swing and miss on my own rather than have buggy apps like tinder and anything associated with tinder cockblock the shit out of me.
That would be called Tool for tinder. The gf spoof app works for ten minutes but the problem is when they go to swipe you if they don't look at your profile within that ten minutes then the distance will be where you're located now. So they may skip you.
Also the reason it doesn't work is because you have to physically go into tinder and change something about your preference whether it's decrease the distance by one mile, age by one year, etc. Tinder will then be able to find results wherever you put your pin.

I've never had a Facebook profile and I kind of like it that way. However, do you think it's worth setting up a fake profile for the sake of using Tinder?
If only you knew how bad things really are.

That's what I've done, I have a normal facebook account but its just for checking some pages from time to time. I made a fake one for tinder with a fake name and everything.
Alright I was trying to do this and Facebook asks for a mobile phone number...which I do NOT want to give them. Do I need to go buy a burner phone or has anyone signed up using the "Burner" mobile app?

Guys now is the time to go after college girls. Seems like they are sick of those lame college dudes after 3 months of bad game. They are craving for some 22+ guys to show them a good time. Just get the number and try back on Christmas break (fuck those PC bastards for turning it into winter break) when they are home.

I think I'm done with Tinder. After auto mass liking for a while I've been getting about 10 matches per day rolling in. They've all been sending me links to bullshit websites for escorts.
