It is happening again - Twin Peaks back in 2016

Showtime Open to More Twin Peaks if David Lynch Is
Many fans have been asking themselves the same question- how will Lynch/Frost wrap this up in only 5 more episodes? Several of the characters have just been introduced and they haven't had much to do yet (like James- I was never a huge fan, but is he only going to sing a crappy song this series and not actually do or say anything?)
This link suggests that there might be more episodes to come.
Seems to me also, otherwise it may seem as rushed out and we know that doesn't go well for tv series.

Never expected to hear that song again. Felt like Lynch was trolling the audience.
Yes, I thought the song sounded familiar. Wasn't that the song James, Maddie and Donna sing, I think in season 2?
Yes. I never liked it. Btw, what's up with his voice?
^ pitchy as fuck too by the way.
He should stick to motorcycle riding and cougar rooting.

Correct. One of the most awkward scenes (gotta love the helium vocals). It even sounded like the exact same audio. Don't think it was even recorded again for the new series.

"I identify with Laura Palmer"
I just spoiled myself with details about episode 14, which suck, because seems big, if what I've read is real. How do you even restrain yourselves from looking the spoilers when they appear?
That image is amazing (sums up Laura and most women). I heard episode 14 leaked but I've managed to avoid all spoilers.
Can anyone guess what the hell was up with Sarah Palmer? Is this related to the creature from the glass box (without giving away too many plot elements for those who haven't seen it yet).
Malo, you seem to be pretty good at this- a little help, please :-D

^ It's probably the creature that crawled into her in episode 8 (which kind of confirmed that it was her in that episode). In episode 1, she was watching that tv show about lions eating their pray, probably turned some switch inside of her and she started getting in touch with her inner beast (literally).
Overall it was a great episode, not adding much new but confirming many of our speculations. I also liked the idea of the giant calling himself "The Fireman", as in turning off fires set by the "fire walk with me" gang.
I wonder what the roll of the monkey voices girl will eventually be. I'm guessing "mother" took away her sight and speech at some point, probably for acting against her (as she did in episode 3, when she turned off the electricity barrier that would have prevented Cooper from transporting back to earth).
There's clearly two teams there: "mother", evil coop, Bob and the woodsmen on one side, and then the giant, monkey girl, one armed man, his evolved arm etc on the other side.

Another connection from episode 14: I believe the humming/noise James detected is the same as the one initially heard by Ben Horne/Ashley Judd in the Great Northern earlier this season.
Electrical humming is always the sign of the paranormal in all Lynch works. Together with flickering lights. Just watched the episode couple of minutes ago. Extremely weird and a lot of revelations. Some people who got bored with slow pacing of previous episodes will definitely be glad when they see it.
Malo, "monkey girl" didn't have sight in that 3rd episode.

^ True, I was suggesting mother took her sight earlier for 'rebellious' behavior such as the one she displayed in the 3rd episode.
Ah, ok then. I really liked this episode as it had so much condensed and every minute was cleverly used. Also interesting that there are portals even in London and I like this, as its opposed to "paranormal happens in America only" thing we tend to see in various TV shows.
I am curious what will be role of James and this English guy in the next few episodes.

He might square off against Bob-Coop using his right arm/green glove.
Interesting idea, as we saw last time that doppelganger has extremely strong arms.

I agree with your concept of teams and I picked up on "the fireman"- the Giant is on the 'good team' so my interpretation was that he was trying to recruit and/or inform people that are sucked up into that tube about how to thwart Bob (like Andy and the English kid) or, as you say, put out fires.
And I also thought about Sarah Palmer and that bug thing that crawled into her mouth. Sarah has always acted weird and had visions, but there isn't much in this series or the original to suggest that she's actually this 'mother' monster, which is why I was having trouble accepting it (and I also thought that the bug thing was 'good' because it was sent to earth by the Giant, but I could be completely wrong about that). I guess I'm just not sure how it all fits in: she became evil when that bug entered her back in the 50s? So she's always been this monster, even during the original series, while her husband was also a monster (Bob) and her daughter was a Christ/angel figure? Seems a bit heavy handed. However, if she's not the 'mother' that evil Dale is looking for, what else could she be?
I did love that scene where she kills the obnoxious guy, particularly when the bartender questions her and she says menacingly, with one raised eyebrow “Sure is a mystery, huh?”

Do we know that bug was sent by giant or it hatched from egg that mother puked out?
Stirfry, I never suggested Sarah Palmer is the evil mother.
When we say "mother" we refer to the creature that puked out Bob, and that was banging on the door in episode 3 when Cooper was about to transport. The woman in the room (played by the actor who played Ronette Pulaski by the way) said "you'd better hurry, my mother's coming". Hence the nickname. Same one evil coop is looking for (showing her on a card in episode 1). "Mother of all evil" as sterling_archer put it.
Nothing to do with Sarah Palmer, that creature that crawled into her probably helped give birth to Laura (to counter Bob), is responsible for her visions, her crazy moods, and, can turn very very nasty when she's harassed in a bar.

Personally I think it was sent by the giant.. I doubt mother puked out Laura.. of course I could have it all upside down and the whole theory falls apart, but so far it seems to add up well.

Hmmm, so....'mother' is the creature that begat Bob, that was banging on the door, that killed the kids in the laboratory with the glass box, and that Evil Dale is looking for. I assume she is also on the other 'team' with Bob/Evil Dale, the Woodsmen, Tim Roth, etc? I think that's where I'm getting confused. She has had visions and been weird at times but was never evil until last episode (despite harboring this space bug thing for all of her adult life).
Yes, Stifry you got it right. Mother of evil is symbolized as a black circle with flapping "ears". It was represented on a card that Dale showed Darla before he killed her in the motel room and it was on the cave drawings and paper that Bobby pulled out from metal cylinder. It is the same being that birthed Bob after atomic explosion.
Interestingly, atomic weapons have HUGE connection with occult and as I said before, Lynch having open eyes wanted to present this to us with his language, i.e. "twilight language". In book "secret history of the twin peaks", we even see Jack Parsons and his occult/science life, a very important thing to realize about the world. Lynch wants to present us that science works with the occult and that you can dabble in "black magic" and at the same time solve differential equations.
In some way, I think we will get explanation that Box in NY flat is science experiment done to trap and observe paranormal, which is this connection I am talking about.
