There are female officers and psychologists long-ingrained in the system who are paid very well to create a safe, comforting, judgment-free space for abused and raped women to tell their stories and be taken very, very seriously. Any reported incident immediately-requires the government agencies for women in the area to be notified to offer the victim medical care; further one-on-one or supporting group counselling; and, if required, protective housing, all of which are free and confidential.

Any government department will devolve into a matriarchy, and I refuse to believe this hasn't been the case in America for a long time. Why are these women selling the very false lie that The Police are a) Patriarchal; and b) dismissive and uncaring of any rape accusation, when there is program after program within these systems designed to consider the emotions of and protect rape survivors from further trauma. Doesn't this attitude piss off the women who work in the system?

Confronted with a dismissive male officer, she could have asked to speak to a female officer, and in this PC climate, the male officer would have known how he would have been punished for failing to comply.

The statute of limitations on rape is 5 years in Connecticut, so if she felt she had a legitimate case and some guy had done her wrong, she could have done something about it.

She didn't because there was no crime committed; women like this find themselves in situations and when they realize they've done something that makes them feel uncomfortable about who they are as human beings they look for someone to blame.

The playbook on false rape/sexual assault accusations has one play that is ran like Lombardi's power sweep.

Make a statement like "I never went to the police because (insert someone) told me it would be difficult to prove", make sure to include hot-button victim keywords like "alone", "vulnerable, and "helpless", go back to the huddle, call the same play.

Of course she's been sexually assaulted! Claiming sexual assault victimhood is practically a requirement for SJW status. It's the perfect way to boost credibility/status/approval amongst their peers. Just make shit up - she doesn't have to worry about a fellow feminist calling her out on it (because one would never question a victim and risk losing her own status amongst her peers) and she can deflect anyone else's questioning as misogyny, victim blaming, patriarchal oppression, etc. Pretty soon, run-of-the-mill sexual assault won't be the status booster it is currently. They'll have to step it up to gang rape.

The sad part is how they are making a mockery of rape. There are actual predators out there and actual rape victims. But given how many of the highly publicized 'rapes' have turned out to be utter bullshit, is it any wonder that so many people view rape claims with a jaundiced eye?
