I would also highly recommend Magic City.
It has the mad men type style and era, with more controversy, nude babes, and everything, all on a beach in miami.

Absolute must see - Stranger Things. TV series that has just been released.
Think Stephen King / John Carpenter / Steven Spielberg.
If you grew up in the 80's, you'll especially get into it.

I'm four episodes into Stranger Things, totally hooked. I love this kind of paranormal/conspiracy/horror stuff, wish there were more shows along these lines out there.

At all like supernatural?
The first few seasons of that werent too bad. A good "road trip" atmosphere and lead characters who are about as far from emasculated pussies as you can get.

Finished watching the show today - very impressed with it from start to finish. Well plotted, well acted, and I loved the blend of influences from the best of the 80s. Also, what a delight it is to watch a show that doesn't have any preachy SJW agenda or political correctness in it.

I finished it last night too. Agreed, solid throughout the 8 episodes. Impressive acting by all too (especially El who says so much in her expressions with so little lines). Those Duffy Bros know their 80's cinema back to front. Keen for season 2.

The only thing that depresses me is how old Wynona looks now.
She was/is my childhood crush. Ill never forget those tits bouncing down the stairs in Dracula.

Well that settles that... I was going to ask which series I should start: Stranger Things, Peaky Blinders, Marco Polo (season 2) or Spartacus (my friends in the Phils highly recommended this)
However glancing over the post already in here then I settled on Stranger Things (I was already leaning towards it, having grown up in the 80s I love anything that revolves around that decade)
I downloaded season 4 of Hell on Wheels since its not on my Netflix here in the Ukraine but then I decided to just start something on Netflix cause its easier to watch from my Xbox then hooking my laptop up every time I wanna watch something I downloaded #FIRSTWORLDPROBLEMS
I finished season 4 of House of Cards last week... great show
Also Narcos season to starts September 2nd!!!!

Recommending Last Chance U.
It's a documentary series about troubled but talented young college football players that get one last chance to make it big. Centered on a community college in the middle of nowhere in Mississippi where everything is about football.
Be on the lookout for the divorced single mom that just hit the wall, who works as a study counselor for the college. Her main mission is to make sure the youngs football studs make their grades in order to continue playing for the school. I get the feeling she's been banged out by every football player who's passed through the school.
Also interesting to get a glimpse into the life of athletes about to go big. Their mindset, discipline and worries. And the pussy being thrown at them 24/7.

Burn Notice
I watched it here and there way back when I had cable. They have all 7 seasons, and it's good tv. Burned spy running amok in South Beach.

I finished BoJack Horseman and Stranger Things over the last couple of weeks. Both are shows I would recommend. BoJack has a lot of red pill inconvenient truths sprinkled in. There are a couple of episodes where they do go full SJW-retard (one particular episode in season 3 where they go all in on "muh abortion rights") but other than that the series is very realistic I find.
Stranger things was also a pretty good show. I am not an 80s baby but I did get to fortunately experience some of the things depicted in the show - mainly hanging out with your friends without adult supervision and going out on your own even late at night.
Netflix's original content game is strong. They are losing a lot of content because every media company wants to start their own streaming service now (streaming online is becoming the new cable with many different "channels").

The killer inside me
A controversial film due to some violence toward females.
Takes place in the 50's in Texas with Casey Affleck
Not a bad film

Finished Stranger Things last night accidentally (I thought there were 10 episodes for some reason so I was confused after watching the 8th one...wondering what in the world the other 2 episodes were gonna be) All around excellent series, it didn't pull me in like a Breaking Bad or True Detective however it did everything well. From the casting, acting, music, setting, score, story... the vibe and 80s atmosphere was prefect. This series invoked a wide rang of emotions for me from nostalgia to sadness to fear to joy. Shows like this don't come around to often.
10/10 WB
I suppose tonight I will start on Peaky Blinders or maybe Last Chance U.
