Man Netflix outside of Murica pretty much sucks... If I wanna start a series on the Flix now its pretty much gonna have to be Spartacus or Ray Donovan.

Can someone recommend a good tv series? I just started suits after seeing a guy with that nick here [Image: biggrin.gif] Any other cool ones? I didn't watch breaking bad is it worth it? I watched Narcos.

My favourite one of all time is Entourage, still couldn't find something like that.

You got me curious about Ray Donovan and decided to check it out. It's not on uk Netflix but it is on Amazon prime. Seriously good show have not felt like I know the characters so well after just a couple of episodes so strongly before.

You might want to check out The last kingdom on UK Netflix. It's Saxons vs Danes it's a decent show. Second series is being made at the moment.

I suffered through the last half of S1 of Daredevil to get to S2 where The Punisher comes in. Man, I was not disappointed. This is some of the best TV I watched in recent memory. I hope it keeps up the pace through the rest of the season and into The Punisher S1.

Cop and orc drama. Probably filled with NWO agenda shit but will watch. It looks like a huge budget blockbuster in terms of make up and effects.

Another plug for Korean movies on Netflix. Better than some of the Hollywood crap IMO.

The Man from Nowhere is awesome for example but there are many others.

This completely flew under my radar. It's essentially shadowrun the movie. It sounds like a concept someone would have thought up back in the 90's when Orion and Cannon films was still a thing. Netflix seems to be swimming in investor cash these days so what is a couple hundred million to them?

The usual suspects are all championing this, convinced it's going to be a hit.

The trailer gives viewers a longer look into the upcoming film, which takes place in a futuristic world where magical creatures like orcs and elves exist alongside humans, and face discrimination because of their differences.

The movie’s plot sees Smith playing LAPD cop Scott Ward, who’s paired with an orc partner, Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton) – one of the first orcs to be appointed to the police department. Despite their issues, the two bond while on a mission to track down a powerful weapon: a magic wand that everyone’s after.

I'm no more excited to be lectured about how that thing that we obviously reject out of tribal instinct but is then labeled as being due to fear isn't worth fearing if only we can overcome our bigotry by working together with them to see they're really just like you and I by a movie starring a globalist closeted-homosexual who has raised two very fucked up children, anymore than I was eager to watch this:

Or, a toilet-humour version of this, before that:

Or before that:

Or, targeting the kids before that:

Or before that:

Or even before that:

And so on, and so on...

When you dig into the writers and producers of these movies, you'll notice a pattern.

I can't imagine a movie more out of touch with the Zeitgeist than 'Bright'. It's the same old song, and the media is going to try to convince you it's high value, vital, and worth your time.

I've seen three episodes so far of Ozark. I'll keep watching. It's being compared to Breaking Bad, which makes sense in terms of content, although I wouldn't quite say it has the same quality. The leading actors, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, do a god job. The temptress 'Kimmy' from The Americans appears here in a supporting role as a trampy/trashy redneck schemer.

After watching the first few episodes of Ozark, I had to shut it off. Heres the highlights of the first few episodes.
- a cucked husband that likes watching his wife fuck an old man
-an interracial gay men couple fbi agents

Yea thats enough for me thanks but no thanks

If you made it to episode five (of Ozark), the gay subplot takes an even gayer turn. When this happens. I can never decide if the writers write what they'd personally like to see in an episode, if it's just blatant social engineering, or if maybe they're giving the market what it demands nowadays.

Otherwise, it's a decent series so far.

I tried many VPN services, nothing seems to work to unlock US library for Netflix.

Does anyone have an idea? Netflix Europe really sucks. Nothing is available, except shows that produced by Netflix itself. No Homeland, no Walking Dead, nothing.

Just started watching peaky blinders, 3 episodes in and so far it's really good all around, scratches my boardwalk empire itch.

I don't know if I'd call his watching of the video as cucked more than it was him stewing and seething about what to do next. Remember, he couldn't just toss her aside given her knowledge of his cartel dealings. Yes, he stays with her for the sake of appearances but throughout the series, he often puts her in check.

The gayness was absurd. Interracial then redneck at that. Fucking stupid. Kiss a guy, he freaks out, but then comes back and presumably takes it up the ass? I'm sure that's how same-sex attraction works. Forty years of being straight and all you need is a dude kiss to go full on fag. I did laugh when they showed the FBI nancy "pumping iron" with 50 lbs on the lat pulldown and 135 bench.

Actually the agent had targeted Russ, the redneck, from the start. Russ had an old arrest for soliciting a male prostitute.

Oh, that's right.

Overall, I enjoyed the series and knocked it out over a weekend. But the portrayal of the Ozarks was annoying. Complaining that the best coffee is from a gas station, all the radio is Southern Baptist gospel, people pray the sick away instead of using Western medicine, no one owns a car newer than 10 years old and wears nothing but Walmart clothes. This shit is becoming less offensive and more boring and lazy. If this show took place 60 years ago, sure, the region would have its own distinctive qualities, for better or worse. But fuck, to imply that any town outside of blue urban centers doesn't have a couple indy coffee shops, much less a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, or that many "rednecks" drive 60k trucks with heated steering wheels with 20k worth of guns in a house that costs 150k but if dropped into Seattle would cost 1.2 million is ridiculous.

I am from the most ridiculed and caricatured region of the US (WV). My hometown of 25k people has six or so Starbucks and as many indy coffee shops and many what DC assholes would consider quaint, mom and pop restaurants that would magically be hip if they were in Brooklyn or Portland, Mercedes, BMW, and Range Rover dealerships, more than a few places to buy a Rolex, Omega, or Breitling, and even a couple Thai and Vietnamese places.

It's the current year (OMG, like, srrsly), our country is so connected that we have unfortunately lost a lot of the regional flavors that made America unique. Though there is a still marked difference in the values of rural America (not so much Middle as Austin, Chicago, St Louis, and Detroit do not fit) and "coastal elites," we share 99% of the same amenities. Everyone has a smartphone, has been or knows someone who's visited Europe, met or knows a foreigner, has eaten Pho, and watched a movie with subtitles.

Would Hollywood portray my hometown as just another American town with all the typical American amenities? Nope, we're uneducated, provincial, our dressin' up is a short-sleeve plaid shirt tucked into our jeans with a tie, drive 30-year-old cars, nary even heard of let alone seen a Mexican jus' at we know they here to take our jobs.

If entertainment thinks itself so smart now with the "Golden Age" of television, I'd like to see an educated portrayal of a region LA and NY despise.

I think Jason Bateman, Ruth the redneck girl, & the cartel boss all make great characters.

The show is great overall yet they force diversity shit. As mentioned the gay psycho FBI subplot that honestly doesn't need to be anywhere in the film.

The cucking....

And the third and worst is what I see is a blatant tranny push. The 15 year old daughter in the series seriously looks like a post tranny. I wouldn't be surprised if they reveal that at some point as a plot twist. Total man face. Of course she has an attitude, she also loses virginity in a pump and dump to a wealthy, male model type, alpha fux, and the local blue collar hardworking well-read redneck kid that is cool introducing her to town, gets completely pushed aside as a friendzone comfort pillow. This is resolved by the redneck dad telling his son after a rejection that "she doesn't know who she is yet".

The younger brother is part autistic dork accused of being a budding weirdo psycho. At least he is brave and has sharp senses.

So both women in the family get away with bad behavior, both do the absolute minimum at being feminine in any way.

---

Ruth's character is great, I think that actress and Bateman need to win something. I have a crush on that character in a weird way as I have a thing for very sharp kinda butterface bad girls.

Where the series shines in is the tension of the character interactions.
