Are women finally going to wake up to the idea that they've been sold a bill of goods? Most young women I meet these days (18-24) are not even considering starting a family. When asked they say, maybe when I'm 28 or 29. Besides the obvious red-pill issues of expecting a guy to settle down with them after spending their 20s sampling the worlds men there's a stark biological fact that even waiting until their late 20s might be too late.
The woman in the article got married at 27 expecting to have a baby right away. Unfortunately life doesn't always fall into place the way you expect it to. The economy tanked, she and her husband lost their jobs, so they waited. And waited. It's now too late for her to get pregnant without assistance - even a 15k IVF treatment is no guarantee. I know couples who had to go through several rounds before one took.
Let's say instead she'd started a family at 22. Her oldest kid would be 11 and she might have a 7 or 10 yd. By that age kids can basically take care of themselves. She could be back working part time and launching a career that could last 30 years.
The real irony of feminism as it's practiced today is that it screws women out of both families and careers. If woman had kids in their late teens and early 20s they could be back on the career ladder by their late 20s and have an uninterrupted 3 or so decades to climb to corporate ladder.

Melissa Myrick is 33, blonde and quick to smile. She thought for sure she’d be a mother by now. She could picture it: One boy, one girl, both with her bright blue eyes. That was the plan when she and Rick married in 2008. Get pregnant right away. But first he lost his job, then she lost hers. They decided to wait. A year later, barely back on their feet, a doctor’s visit revealed they’d struggle to conceive. The best shot for Melissa and Rick to have a baby would cost at least $15,000 – money they didn’t have, a financial risk they still feel unable to take.
