I bet you're right. The thing is, Vegas wasn't always about the clubs, the way we know it to be now. That didn't start until the Palms made clubs a big Vegas thing around fifteen years ago. And then table service came around ten years ago, EDM around five years ago, and you now have the present day Vegas.

It goes to show that nightlife is always changing, which we already know. When I was in college in the early 2000s LA nightlife was the best in the world, but in the last ten years it's been absolute shit. In the last decade it's gone through phases to attempt to resuscitate itself, first the Xenii afterparties and now the plethora of mansion parties, but its all shit. It's been ages since you've seen people hooking up in LA, or god forbid, even enjoying themselves.

Vegas seems to be following a similar path. You used to continually see guys pull chicks out of clubs and now it's just not as common.

But as we know, nightlife has cycles. After LA went down the tubes circa 2003, NYC's meatpacking was golden for several years. But NYC is certainly not what it was five years ago.

It's similar to some of the older posters on this forum who reminisce about you can't imagine what Sweden was like in the 80s or Ukraine in the 90s.

There's still plenty of potential in Vegas though. It's no longer "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" but there aren't many places in the US you'll find fifty 10s in one venue like I recall seeing in Hakkasan a few months back. If you specifically want the tourists, in a few weeks there will be the national Rodeo and Country Christmas. December is a time when NOBODY from Socal goes to Vegas but Country Christmas attracts plenty of people from all the rodeo states.

The #1 thing that Vegas has going for it is just Logistics. Everyone has a hotel room there, next to drinking and dancing. However, this is being negated by the longer taxi lines.

The allure of having everything open until the wee hours of the morning isn't that true anymore. More and more, I see clubs emptying out earlier, you really have to do the bulk of your work early in the night. I think the bottle service and promoters getting girls into the clubs drinking earlier in the night has a lot to do with this. Back in the day, you could leave your room at midnight, have a few drinks at the casino bars, then go up to the club. Now, its necessary you go in 10:30 or 11 and that's EVEN with bottle service.

Another negative is that its hard to go from Venue to Venue as there are door hassles. It used to be there were lists and if you got on them, you could skip the entire line and walk in. Now, everything is a lot more organized, corporate with "eyes in the sky". The nights seem shorter for me. I used to be out sometimes until 8 or 9 in the morning, now its more like 4 or 5 if that.

I'm not sure what next year holds. Most of the "A-list crowd" is more likely to do shit like wine tasting locally, the aforementioned concerts/events, and so forth and so on than party it up in Vegas it seems. To be perfectly honest, I have been burned out by the EDM Superstar DJs. I think I posted this earlier, but seeing Tiesto for the first time is pretty cool, but seeing him 3 times in a year is less interesting. I could step in a $100 million dollar club with Barack Obama as the celebrity guest, and I could give two fucks. The allure is gone, clubs have been reduced to glorified circuses, with crappy celebrities who don't give a shit about you and DJs just merely pushing buttons and dancing up and down.

I've run the entire gamut of Vegas nightlife the past 20 years. From Tyson Fights to "The Beach" and Baby's at the Hard Rock to today. Its pretty bad right now, I hope the next evolution of the nightlife fixes these problems. Our approaches must also evolve. What worked 2 years ago won't work now.

I honestly think the only thing that is going to fix it is to have more exclusivity. The problem is they are pushing hordes of unattractive and uninteresting people into the clubs past capacity.

Drazen, totally agree about the club timing thing. People bitch about LA closing times, but in Vegas, you have probably an hour extra of gaming time. I didn't even think about it but you're right - girls have to arrive early to get in free to the top spots, so they don't stay as late.

I think Vegas will continue on this path for a little while, as it's still making money for them and guys are still lining up to pay for it.

I don't know what the next iteration of nightlife will be like, will be fascinating to see. If I had to bet, I'd guess it'll be something more intimate and insular, something more memorable than another night in a club. Something more personalized, or something more meaningful and rooted like Burning Man.

Could be a good move to hit up Vegas on a big concert weekend, where all the musicgoers are in town. I ran into a bunch of Phish fans, but they're not exactly prime macking material.

Nightlife in Los Angeles is constantly losing market share to venues where people can hang out with their gaggle of friends uninterrupted, and that's death for the roving player. That calls for transformation, not mere adaptation.

Is it worth it to try to check which conventions will be in town and in which hotels they will be at and hit that hotel that week? I was in Vegas a couple of times over the last few months and have been planning to post this. The first time was just after a big holiday weekend, so the city was pretty dead. I stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel on what must of been a "dead week" rate. I was there towards the beginning of the week so it was relatively quiet. I made a lot of money quick in the casino, so I hit Spearmint Rhino. That was OK, I suspect the best talent was not there either, but had a good time. Got the number off one smoker, but never called her since she was seemed twisted by the end of the night.

The most notable thing that happened was the Surrender Wednesday night party. I arrived around 2AM so got in free. Talent was OK, did a quick tour of the place and decided the dance floor was the place to be. Started dancing next to a pair of 8s and two guys with a table next to the dance floor immediately reeled them in, after having been watching. I checked up on them a half hour later and the girls were sort of dancing in front of the table and the guys had given up on them. Generally speaking all the babes were at the tables in VIP. Chatted with a few here and there but nothing stuck.

It must have been around 3 or 3:30 when I left. Waiting for the taxi in front of me was a pair of cuties, like a 7 and an 8, well dressed, early 20s. I ask them where they are going? They say Aria hotel. I said, I'm going to the cosmopolitan. "They say, that's next to our hotel", so i ask if they want to come with me to my hotel for a drink. They say OK...This is the Vegas I remember.

They turn out to be rich girls from Mexico City (the Aria is one of the top hotels in Vegas and they dressed the part). I should also mention that, not knowing what to expect in the Vegas clubs, I was dressed for big game. One of the girls doesn't speak English at all, but the other can hold a conversation. As soon as we're in the taxi, she says, What will we do in your hotel? That with a big smile. I don't have to answer because the dream taxi wingman says Paaartaaay! Everybody laughs. To make a long story short, the non-English speaker asks to pull over because she feels sick, so she opens the door and dry heaves. The taxi wingman hands over some Kleenex and doesn't care a bit. He's trying to get me into the saddle. Once we stop in front of the hotel, the sick one just walks up to a wall and sort of collapses against it, and the english speaker girl tries to get her together enough to go in, but finally just says, sorry we have to go home.

I go inside and stop at the bar next to the reception, Vesper bar, trying to figure out what to do. By now I was totally hammered. A chick with 8 face, 7 body comes up and chats for a couple of minutes then says, are you staying here? Yes. Usually I don't pick-up guys, but I'm a well-known porn star and I can come with you for $400. I wasn't down with that, so she eventually decided that she would show me her videos on youtube. She looked a lot better in person but decided to call it a night after coming to my room getting naked, not getting what she wanted ($$). Even so, no denying it, I probably could have managed that one better, because she told me I was too drunk and she was leaving.

Next trip a few weeks later I stayed at Caesar's Palace. I highly recommend that to day gamers since the lobby bars and casinos are full 24/7. Prime time is around 7-10pm when pairs and groups of girls all decked out for a night on the town are roaming the casino and lobbies. There's also a gigantic shopping mall in the hotel.

When I'm on vacation I don't like to hit the big clubs with cover charges and prefer bars and such because I can leave if they're no good. So this time around I always started the night at the Bond bar in the Cosmopolitain (just two blocks away from Caesar's). It's pretty upscale and age range is mostly 30s - 40s with some girls in there 20s. i think it was a sunday night when I went to XS club. Again hitting it around 2AM and paying the $70 cover, my first opener turns out to be an Irish chick and she and her friend want me to go play blackjack with them. But the tables they are headed to are outside of the club. Since I just got there, I let them go. Nothing else interesting there. Some good looking girls, but not enough to justify the price and all the hotties were at tables. If any tried to stray the guys at the table did their best to keep them in tight. I left after about 30 min and hung out in the Wynn hotel casino, paying roulette with a 23yo Korean chick who had bank. The whole while i was watching people come out of the club. More than a couple of pickups judging from the pieces of conversation I overheard.

After awhile I walk around. Hit on some babes sitting in a cafe who turn out to be Russians who've been Vegas for 5+ years. When they leave I tag along and we end up in the garage and I ask them to take me with them and they don't go for that, so I go back, see a hot 30ish 8 big-titted blonde playing the slots alone in an empty casino at 4am and open her. She turns out to be an ex Spearmint Rhino girl who got fired (seemingly for being a ho) and she wants me to pay her to do anything. "I don't want sex" , - OK, $200 to go partying with you. "no thanks". As I leave I notice a guy who I had seen arrive at a nearby slot out of the corner of my eye, immediately get up and disappear. By now the casino is very empty, so ti was pretty obvious - Undercover security.

The last night I decide to work the Caesar's hotel bars and lobby, since I have to leave for the airport at around 5AM. In this environment, the what happens in Vegas mentality is alive and well. First I pick up a MILF from California who is in town alone for a convention. She's nice and I have fun with her, but she has to go to bed at 11 so she can get up for her conference (she warned me about that up front). So I hit the Bond bar again, open a 9 who turns out to be a Russian who is the gf of the DJ, then as I'm leaving open another 2-set who turn out to be russian exchange students. I'd call them a 7 and an 8 but judging from the amount of attention they got in Vegas they rate much higher. I stick with them for the rest of the night, not trying to close in any way, since I just need to stay awake for a couple more hours. But that went OK, since one is still in contact with me and is planning to come visit.

All in all Vegas is a great spot to party, especially if you want to roll solo. I have a nice girl at home, so I'm only motivated to go for high level chicks, but even then, in the 8+ range there is lots to do in Vegas. And when you're on a budget, if you just stick to the hotel lobbies and bars you can do just as well as in any club, if not better.

Totally agree with this. Girls go to Vegas to do something they can write home about. If you go to the big name places it'll be hard to get anywhere without dropping a lot of cash or at least looking the part.

I've been going out to the clubs the last 2 years like its my second job. Everything that has been posted here on the thread is pretty spot on. Its getting pretty bad. The few times I have gotten lucky was because I had a table or was with girls I already knew who were already into me. I have connections at the clubs to get me in and maybe 1-2 drink tickets but as far as bottle service goes for a guy, out of the question. Paying full price.


Even though I have a decent job, getting a bottle every time I go out is out of the question.
Strip clubs are alright but the girls are getting way sneakier. It used to be you could go to a strip club, get a number, meet up at one point and seal the deal. Now they are very enthusiastic about giving you their number, but won't return your messages, flaky as fuck.

Friday I went to meet a friend who had a bottle at one club. Started talking to a cute little girl. Turns out she was a "stripper" at sapphire and was hanging out by herself... which basically meant a hooker.

The only thing saving me right now is:
industry nights where the clubs open on sunday, monday, tuesday, and hanging out with industry people. Even then you get those industry princess that just go to take pictures and leave.
Local clubs like blue martini on latin nights or ladies night.
Stoneys ladies night thursdays.
Downtown (mostly a sea of 6-7's)


I definitely need to switch up my game. This club stuff isn't working anymore. My wingman said that 4-6 years ago you didn't even have to walk into the club, you could pull girls from the line.

My options are:
Get an industry job (server, busser, security)
Start finding different venues
Move out of the country

Going to be in Vegas for the Thanksgiving weekend. Nov 27 - 30. I know, I know ... it can be a slow time ... but it's an important milestone for my boy so there we will be. In any case, we're okay with the women of questionable morals that would be in Vegas rather than celebrating with their families :0

So context. Two dudes, mid 30s, well-dressed, well-traveled, successful. Good game - based on practice, evolution. Less based on the PUA/manosphere community. Cernovich (D&P) and Pride (B&D) resonate with us.

We'll be staying at the Cosmo. Will likely do table service at least one night. Buddy wants to roll on molly - not sure if the environment will be right for that. Thoughts?

Goal is to bang as much as possible. Finance snot a huge concern - we'll pay our way in. Are tables still advisable? For day game we'll likely hit the shopping areas and hotel bars .

Any feedback mucho appreciated. I will be summarizing our experience for posterity.

If you can't get into Lavo Brunch (you have to get a table and the minimums are high, you may need to drop $1500 for two people), consider Marquee Day Club as you're staying at the Cosmo. Logistics are king.

Tao will probably be the best bet on Thanksgiving. Its their Industry night and everyone who lives in Vegas, not working and away from family will probably be there. If I were you I'd probably eat there, drink and the bar and go upstairs to the club. Just go before it gets super crowded, all vegas clubs really suck when they get overstuffed with people.

STK is also a good spot at cosmo for dinner. My favorite it Jaleo though.

DJ Five usually plays hip hop and mashups, the crowd at least in my experience is pretty mixed early on, then it gets a little more "urban" later in the night. Its a lot of Vegas locals who get all the dance floor tables and they are a bit harder to compete against since they have social proof. However, more people go here since its the known Thursday hot spot.

You also may want to daygame at the Sportsbook, probably Cesars Palace, sometimes girls go there. Mostly guys but sometimes girls who have real school spirit go hang out there to watch games.

Yeah, I think going to Tao, then Spearmint Rhino is your best bet this night.


Friday:
Never been to the venue and its a bit far. However, Dirty South is spinning at LiFE at the SLS and will probably have the better looking girls there.

Hakkasan has Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano (not a fan, seen them at Wet REpublic I believe)

XS has Cazette which should be good.

Hakkasan might not be as crowded as usual so it might be a good choice and is logistically decent from Cosmo.

I don't think it'll be super crowded so taxi lines and club lines may be less busy than usual. You just have to be right on time to make it work though. I'd personally go to XS as your main spot. Hakkasan might be good as well if its not too crowded.

I think I mentioned it earlier, I really liked the vibe at Beacher's Madhouse. Its smaller and better for smaller table service, you might want to consider, not really a dance floor but you can party at your table pretty easily and at least when I was there, the quality of women was quite high. However, if you haven't done the megaclubs in Vegas, you should probably check those out first.

To add on to what guys here are saying...

I've gotten notches from Tinder/POF/OKCupid while in Vegas, but strike out like crazy in bars and clubs. My game isn't anything to write home about, but every tourist girl I seem to encounter in Vegas is a validation whore. They are there to be seen, complimented and given everything for free. Sex isn't a primary goal for most of them.

It is what it is. I can still have fun at clubs and bars in Vegas without gaming, but it's still not as good as an ONS that you picked up on the strip.

You won't save any money. With Sundays now being big at XS, its probably going to be just as pricy as a Friday barring a major DJ act.

It really depends on when you are going. If its warm and the pools are open, I'd recommend the Saturday-Monday thing. If its colder, I'd recommend Friday-Sunday. Its just strictly a numbers game, when its colder, people are less likely to stay until Monday I think.

I do have some of the better times on Sundays though. I usually do Saturday and Sunday pool parties in the summer. My theory is on Fridays, many people come directly from work from LA via car or flights (at least I do). The energy at the venues is a little lower and people are a little more "tired" and settling in.

Usually I don't pick-up guys, but I'm a well-known porn star and I can come with you for $400. I wasn't down with that, so she eventually decided that she would show me her videos on youtube. She looked a lot better in person but decided to call it a night after coming to my room getting naked, not getting what she wanted ($$). Even so, no denying it, I probably could have managed that one better, because she told me I was too drunk and she was leaving.

Next trip a few weeks later I stayed at Caesar's Palace. I highly recommend that to day gamers since the lobby bars and casinos are full 24/7. Prime time is around 7-10pm when pairs and groups of girls all decked out for a night on the town are roaming the casino and lobbies. There's also a gigantic shopping mall in the hotel.

When I'm on vacation I don't like to hit the big clubs with cover charges and prefer bars and such because I can leave if they're no good. So this time around I always started the night at the Bond bar in the Cosmopolitain (just two blocks away from Caesar's). It's pretty upscale and age range is mostly 30s - 40s with some girls in there 20s. i think it was a sunday night when I went to XS club. Again hitting it around 2AM and paying the $70 cover, my first opener turns out to be an Irish chick and she and her friend want me to go play blackjack with them. But the tables they are headed to are outside of the club. Since I just got there, I let them go. Nothing else interesting there. Some good looking girls, but not enough to justify the price and all the hotties were at tables. If any tried to stray the guys at the table did their best to keep them in tight. I left after about 30 min and hung out in the Wynn hotel casino, paying roulette with a 23yo Korean chick who had bank. The whole while i was watching people come out of the club. More than a couple of pickups judging from the pieces of conversation I overheard.

After awhile I walk around. Hit on some babes sitting in a cafe who turn out to be Russians who've been Vegas for 5+ years. When they leave I tag along and we end up in the garage and I ask them to take me with them and they don't go for that, so I go back, see a hot 30ish 8 big-titted blonde playing the slots alone in an empty casino at 4am and open her. She turns out to be an ex Spearmint Rhino girl who got fired (seemingly for being a ho) and she wants me to pay her to do anything. "I don't want sex" , - OK, $200 to go partying with you. "no thanks". As I leave I notice a guy who I had seen arrive at a nearby slot out of the corner of my eye, immediately get up and disappear. By now the casino is very empty, so ti was pretty obvious - Undercover security.

The last night I decide to work the Caesar's hotel bars and lobby, since I have to leave for the airport at around 5AM. In this environment, the what happens in Vegas mentality is alive and well. First I pick up a MILF from California who is in town alone for a convention. She's nice and I have fun with her, but she has to go to bed at 11 so she can get up for her conference (she warned me about that up front). So I hit the Bond bar again, open a 9 who turns out to be a Russian who is the gf of the DJ, then as I'm leaving open another 2-set who turn out to be russian exchange students. I'd call them a 7 and an 8 but judging from the amount of attention they got in Vegas they rate much higher. I stick with them for the rest of the night, not trying to close in any way, since I just need to stay awake for a couple more hours. But that went OK, since one is still in contact with me and is planning to come visit.

All in all Vegas is a great spot to party, especially if you want to roll solo. I have a nice girl at home, so I'm only motivated to go for high level chicks, but even then, in the 8+ range there is lots to do in Vegas. And when you're on a budget, if you just stick to the hotel lobbies and bars you can do just as well as in any club, if not better.

Totally agree with this. Girls go to Vegas to do something they can write home about. If you go to the big name places it'll be hard to get anywhere without dropping a lot of cash or at least looking the part.

This story from a few yrs ago is a summary of Vegas for most guys. I have gone solo for business and pleasure a few times, and can say that it is the easiest place to daygame. Hotel/Casino bars are natural spots crawling with options. The last time I was in LV I stayed at the Vdara (as part of a deal I booked through one of those travel websites) That hotel is great to crash after a long night, but the vibe is really chill, and since there's no casino, there's not a lot of hot young girls. What I did find there were two MILF's in town for business (both attending the same conference solo). One was late 20's brunette from Dallas, the other early 30's with fake D cups. They were both in pharma sales, and had over the top personalities. I struck out pretty quick with the younger one, whom I met the first night I arrived. She was set on not mixing pleasure with business etc etc. The older one, was a different story.

We saw each other in the elevator the morning of my 2nd day there, and again when I was coming back from the Wynn casino. She was coming back in from her conference, and I chatted her up, asking "So that meeting looked boring" reading her exhausted expression on her face. She smiled and said "I need a drink or two". She wanted to check out the Aria which is walking distance to the Vdara, so we made small talk heading over there, at the bar, and walking back. As time went on, I could tell she was DTF, especially when we saw a handful of her co-workers at the bar as we were leaving, and a few gave her the side eye as they noticed she was with someone who wasn't in their group.

We get back to the room and got down to business. She told me while downing her 2nd drink she just got out of a nasty divorce that she and her ex fought over the house and money, and she needed a break from men. She also said she never had been with a black man before, although admitted to watching porn in her hotel room white women and black men and getting off to it when she travels. An hour later I am bending her over trying to break her in.

After that, we never ended up seeing each other, as I spent the last day of my trip at the pool and gaming some younger foreign girls at Aria, while she had one final day of her conference then flew home immediately after it ended.

Night game in LV = vetting the girls to make sure you aren't talking to a working girl, and understanding most are going to be sloppy drunk/high/both.
