I think it's because the way that hipsters get defined here are suburban white kids trying to be cool.. Kind of like "wiggers" in the 1990s (but those are now called douches".

They are seen here as court jester types.. Like not real men.

I really could care less about whether some guy is scrawny and rocking the hipster look if he's able to pull quality ass. In fact, I'm more curious about what that guy is doing that works if he isn't displaying the traditional/stereotypical masculine attraction qualities.

Anyway, These guys look much worse without their beards.

Growing a beard. The one thing women can't do as well as men...even in heels.

Just kidding. There's a whole list of things.

Damn, that is one weak chin. That guy should really invest in a chin implant, they're only like 4k and would do him a world of good if he's actually self-conscious about it and not just having a laugh

Most hipsters have pretty lame characteristics (most of which I had when I was a semi-hipster in my early 20's). But they can also be pretty fun in a drinking situation. Gavin is pretty awesome though.

He's one of the founders of Vice. He sold his stake in the company for millions and has since supported himself by being a writer. Mostly online magazines with a libertarian bent. A few years ago, he started his own media/advertising company and it's been a runaway success.

Gavin's the thinking-man's hipster.

There's nothing wrong with growing a beard, but the overly supplicating teddy bear attitude that comes with the beard is what makes it hipster rather than full on masculine or whatever. In the hipster world, if you like your beard you can keep your beard, as long as you follow the femdom behavior protocol for keeping female attention. I've never been able to wrap my head around the submissive tatted up, bearded guy and his short-haired, tatted, dominant girlfriend. They do seem happy, like they fought tooth and nail to invert themselves for each other, but it just seems so weird to me.

It's funny because if I tailor myself right, I can fit in with the hipster crowd. But as soon as I say what's on my mind, they know I'm not "one" of them. Or we'll agree on the beginning premises (down with society, do what you want, blah blah) until you get into the process and ethics of it. I've found myself using Roosh's "Danish nodding game" on American hipster girls in the past to good effect. The problem is it takes so much effort to hold in what I feel/want to say (so much for be authentic/express yourself [Image: lol.gif])

Also I've noticed hipster guys are overly loud and animated in their movements. Their feminine behavior overshadows their beard. They can be fun to vibe and joke around with for a little bit and for all their 'femininity', they can be surprisingly motivated to meet girls. It's just their approach involves way too much supplication for my liking. And when they proudly proclaim to me they're a male feminist because it's the only ethical stance and how I must join them, I just can't...

stop smoking American Spirits

I will disagree here and say American Spirits are a great cig since they're slow burning. Pulled a girl from her friends a few weeks ago and was able to escalate due to the American Spirits taking forever to burn.

I say grow the beard, but follow up with "beardly" behavior if it's 'masculinity' you seek. I can see how in brooklyn this could be counter-productive. There's a lot of talent there but the feminism is strong in that region. Probably why I still end up targeting foreign girls who don't give a crap about such house of cards philosophy.

This feminine hipster guy phenomenon is an example of the clown game needed to hold a girl's attention in this day and age. You have a masculine feature like a beard or (p?)leather jacket, but you need to act overly dramatic like a girl or the gay best friend to make the girl feel safe and find you fun.

when I disguise myself as a red pill in a blue pill capsule, I get more positive reactions from the hipster world. It's all about calibrating how much of your true colors you can show at that point.

Another positive about hipsters is I can legit nerd out without having them give me a glossed over, catatonic look. If you need to let out some 'beta' nerd ramble, find yourself a hipster.

What's this forums obsession with hipsters and hating on them

I think the hate is a result of most hipsters being liberal feminist estrogen pussies who are a disgrace for male sex.

Ha, it's not actually much of a modification. It's just a little silicone implant they slide under the skin for dudes with seriously receding chins. The operation takes like 15 minutes and is pretty cheap. My brother had one and his profile looks 10x better.

Here to back-up the amazing wonder that are beards. It's the one thing a man grow in 6 weeks time that separates him from the mass of clean-shaven men and women. It's a secondary sex characteristic that marks you as a man.

I have a weak chin, facial scarring, and very asymetrical facial features - my beard helps to give my chin depth and smooths out some of the asymmetry.

You don't avoid being a "hipster" by not growing a beard; you avoid being a hipster simply by not being a pussy-beta stuck in late post-modernist ironic cliches.

I think beards can be more fierce looking and mysterious. They can be used to reshape the face, and the imagination often has to be used to get what is underneath.

I've noticed that when a hot girl where's glasses, I've found myself trying to imagine her without them.. so she got one extra pellet of attention from me.

Ive been wearing a full beard for years now about 1 months worth of growth trimmed . about 1/2 the time when i first meet a chick she tells me she doesnt like facial hair. Of my lays 90% of these women stroke my beard like a king after i fuck the shit out of them and tell me..."they dont usualy like beards, but mine is sexy". I own my beard. Im confident and dont give a fuck what people think , especially fickle bitches.

Yeah, girls don't like beards, short guys, fat guys, or poor guys.. That is of course unless the guy has game. Then all that shot goes out the window.

Girls are very disconnected from their own reality. There minds are thinking one thing while their pussys contemplate another.

I empathize with the guy though. My beard ages me up and gives my jawline some much needed definition.

How does that affect your performance with younger girls?

The only thing worse than a hipster beard is a hipster with an old-fashioned "ironic" mustache.

The other day I saw an arch-hipster sporting the Val Kilmer/Doc Holliday mustache from Tombstone.

I was going to ask him if he was my Huckleberry, but then I remembered I don't talk to hipsters.

Question for the guys with beards. How do you trim it to a certain style? I want to have one similar to the guy in my profile pic.

Yes Soup, What you say is true, Ive learned to completely ignore what bitches say. I listen to what they do and what spreads their legs. Their words mean nothing.

However i have made the following observation in reference to beards. While living in the USA (Feminist Central) ive noticed that some women are absolutely turned on by the masculine apearance of facial hair . Especally if it is congruent with your vibe (confidence, masculine etc.) but the women that "say" they dont like facial hair tend to be of the feminist camp. These same women are the ones that change their minds and stroke my beard after ive blown a load all over their face. I think their dislike of facial hair , perhaps it is a feminist way of emasculating men a form of castrating something clearly masculine and their brains having been hypnotized by the feminist imperative causes them to say this.....but their pussies love everything masculine. The good news is that it serves as a sort of a feminist filter in the USA. It Attracts women that are more pleasant, submissive, etc.

I am currently in Eastern Europe. I encounter way less initial resistance sporting my full beard here, infact i think because feminism is not as deeply entrenched here these women's brains are just a little more in touch with their pussies (but they are still fickle). The beard is much more of an asset here.

At the end of the day. DO what YOU like fuck what people think, especially women. Its not the beard or not....its the attitude and the confidence.

I could go on. This is a poor attempt at humor on his part, nothing more. His funny stuff is usually on Red Eye.

Gavin has the right ideas but he did not come with his guns loaded in hat Skype interview. Needs to work on his live-debate skills. At least he's 100% honest. Ugh. Nothing is more annoying than some cunty proud-to-be pseudo-intellectual feminist, except maybe mangina sympathizers. Of course that huffing and puffing male-feminist was from Worcester, MA.
