wtf is the gmanifesto?

Mystik - No doubt going Suited Down played a big role in both those instances.

"I tested the guy with somewhat of a trick question on Barcelona and he passed. His info on the city is solid."

Ha. Out of curiosity, what "trick question" was it? I know that city pretty damn well.

"I do get skeptical when I learn that no one on this forum has ever met him but maybe he is private person and does not want the fame."

I am super private. I was brought up that way. And no Fame for me.

That all being said, because some of the cats on this forum are so cool, I was willing to meet one in Latvia (he couldn't make it) and I have talked to one on the phone (we missed each other on the meet up).

"What is your usual day like?"

I will probably post on this soon.

Luckystar - absolutely.

Moma - Good work on going Suited Down.

"Hey G, you still have not answered how much a custom suit goes for?"

Shoot me an email, and I will let you know. I can assure you they aren't cheap.

Generally speaking, you are looking at $1500 to $5000.

oldnemesis-

"How do you find those dopest spots? I have no idea even what those spots are, not to mention where they are located. "

If you see the spot where even fly girls in high heels and dresses are waiting to get in, then you have found the "dope spot", oh my brother.

rudebwoy - "the dudes that are putting him down just don't understand."

You can say that again.

kerouac-

"This is the frame of mind considered to be "OLD MONEY". It's nothing new or innovative."

Our world needs a little reminder every now and then.

The question about Bikini, Shoko and Catwalk. If you were who you you say you are then you wouldn't have gone to Shoko and Catwalk exactly because they are too international and borderline tourist traps. On the other hand Bikini can be mistaken for a similar club but its not.

Only a person who has actually been there and has a sense of picking dope spots can figure this out quickly enough. As I said "somewhat" of a trick question. [Image: smile.gif]

Mystik- Ha. I got you.

Yeah, I have a pretty good "nose" for sniffing out spots. Which is kind of weird since my judgement was kind of "off" when I went to Latvia.

I actually had a good "sense" there as well, but I wasn't "listening" to my inner voice. And I actually think in my crazy brain, I wanted to put myself in some precarious positions.

"But you do post on other blogs, right?"

I posted on Roissy over a year ago somewhat regularly.

Now just Roosh's site and here.

G,

I know smoking is your thing (best pickup line) so I thought I would ask. Do you carry a lighter on you all the time? And do you have a cigarette case you carry on you? I ask because I find it such a bitch to carry a pack on me while rolling out at night. Hell, I can't stand carrying too much shit on me besides my keys, phone and wallet. So my question is how do you operate?

G's blog is excellent. After reading countless posts about rolling everywhere suited down, I finally took the hint, nowadays I always dress extremely sharp everywhere I go. (I may be overdoing it now, I'll dress somewhere between smart casual and formal just to go a couple hundred meters down the road to the shops ha)
And on nights out its a rarity to see someone dressed better than me,most guys think spending a couple hundred per item on shiny t shirts and jeans is dressing well, they are mistaken. I used to be like that, not any more

even though Im still a student Ive blown guys out of the water that make serious cash, I'm very sure the way i was dressed was a strong contributing factor.
And as for people asking if G is real or not , it doesn't matter, the knowledge on there is top notch,I dont think anybody can disagree with that. And that's what is really important, everyone is here to learn game or improve themselves in general.

If i had one non positive thing to say about his blog, it would be that he doesn't post enough, his posts are pure money.

But I think its already clear he values quality over quantity.

French,

imo people gotta dress based on the venue and target base.

Going to a gothic or metal concert suited down. People are not gonna think you are the best dressed. They are gonna think who the hell is this guy dressed like he is going to church.

Going suited down to a under 21 bar/club in a blue collar town would not be the best strategy for pulling tale imo.

Likewise you def need to be suited down with the nicest threads going to an upscale lounge or hotel bar.

All situational imo.

I recommend people to have a very versatile wardrobe of nice fly stylish threads for all main target demographics!

Unless you only target one group and of venue.

I like to branch out and sample numerous types of places and females

Dash,I hear what youre saying about dressing for certain venues, im yet to see a demographic of women that doesnt like a suit though

I dont always go out fully suited but at the least, tailored dress shirts, good shoes/trousers etc

And im at uni , when I go out fully suited up I've gotten a good response, guys and girls opening me, complimenting me asking where i got the clothes that I'm wearing from etc

It probably helps that im really tall and all the other guys are in jeans.

For once I actually agree with Dash, 100% on this one. I live in a small NorCal college town, where the prominent style I will describe as "NorCal grower bro", which probably won't make sense to 90% of you, so I'll describe:

Basically lot's of baggy jeans, hooded LRG sweatshirts, flat billed baseball caps, and skate shoes.

Now, I will admit I sometimes rock this style, albeit a little bit more pimpishly, with more OG swagger.

However, as I've gotten older and more successful, I've moved towards more of a GQ look, although I don't own a suit, so I never roll "suited down."

I'm a fan of Lacoste's clothing although I will be the first to say that it's way over priced, and is becoming way too trendy/popular (see Floyd Mayweather rocking it on 24/7 and Geoff on "Curb Your Enthusiasm).

I used to roll way more GQed down to the local bar scene, but eventually I toned it way back, because I noticed that my results were actually worse, when I dressed well.

For one I stood out, because I was THE best dressed person at the bars, but I think everyone was kind of thinking "who the fuck is that guy, why is he dressed like he's at a wedding?". In other words, although I stood out and I was well-dressed, since the mainstream "cool" style is so different, people interpreted it as "try hard", or that I looked like a "preppy tool".

I got a lot of guys trying to talk shit, and most of the girls shit tested me hard.

So basically I think you got to play to your "target audience" or your "fishbowl", or just change locations if you're just not feeling the steez.

As much of a fan of the Gmanifesto I am, there is probably only one bar/lounge in this county that I think his style would be well received at. The rest of the spots are all dominated by one of the following styles: "redneck/country/blue collar, or stoner/grower/norcal/college, or punk/metal/rockabilly/hipster".

It's nice to stick out to an extent and be the most well dressed person, but like Dash points out if you're at a punk rock/metal dive bar, and suited down like the G from MadMen, you're going to have some "congruency" issues, and you're in a fishbowl where you're style won't be well received.

Personally, I can't wait to get out of here, and move to an area with greener pussy pastures. I like the idea of rolling to the hip-hop club one night, then to the upscale lounge the next.

Tiny phone (Sony Ericsson x10 mini), money clip, only 1-2 keys (home + car), get matches at bars, take out cloves to sit on display the second I post up at the bar.

Let's make a list of what G hints about on making money, I have only read his blog for an hour:

1. Petty Crime in his youth (Running hashish in his youth at some beach?)
2. At some point in his life, he worked in finance, despite his love for spending cash like all NY finance cats and today maybe he wasn't too stupid with it?
3. That Finance bankroll & experience bootstrapped investing
4. He bets on racetracks and boxing, and seeing his attitude he probably has something on the inside??
5. The blog (hell dannychoo.com used it as bootstrap living, don't underestimate a good blog)
6. Crime today
7. Small time limited business ventures with friends/a crew which can make good cash quick, legal to illegal. Like flipping 10 houses in a couple months with your construction crew friends during the property bubble in 2006.
8. A guy like G with his ginormous network probably has friends shooting him gigs left and right all the time for his unique skill set. Hell if he used linked in, he'd be getting pings all the time from recruiter drones it seems like.
9. Restaurants in Miami
10. What else?

G no offense, but you give off a 15yo black kid who acts like he's a big baller and dresses like a pimp in purple in his used caddy vibe. Makes people rise their eyebrows.

G what is your opinion on suits for young guys? I always loved white and dreamed of wearing one. Do you think that white suits make the job? I got in to a high class bar in Protaras with crappy pants and t-shirt while everyone was wearing shirts (no suits though).

Do you think i can make my revenge at this bar with a suit? If you reccomend custom ones, what materials do you reccomend for the making of the suit.

Thanks

ersatz:

I too was suspicious of the G's tall talk initially. I gave him the benefit of doubt however and observed. Of his numerous data sheets however I can confirm several to be on-the-mark with the kind of knowledge you need first hand experience to gain. So I've relented and joined the crowd that believes in the G.

For someone with a -1 rep you should probably too have kept a low profile and tried out some of his advice before questioning his credentials, never a smart thing to do with one of the forum's most respected posters.

I'm not going to be afraid to speak my mind. I got that -1 because I said the reasons why zyzz died, using him as an example of being an idiot with drugs. That pushed someone's buttons.

You guys get -1s & +1s all the time in real life [Image: biggrin.gif], and like real life most people are far more generous with their -1s. If your not, your being too meek.

It's good to speak your mind with respect. I hate political correctness. Maybe G is hiding under a masquerade? Maybe he wants you to think that he is a 15 year old black kid with an overly pimped swag?
