I agree with everything you've said above. In light of that, if the case is as open and shut as it seems, then no harm will be done by giving Vincent a chance to respond. If he is in fact guilty of disloyalty (and the evidence appears damning), his response will probably make his guilt even clearer and the ultimate decision that much easier to make.

I say give him a deadline to respond in this thread.

What makes this very-very unlikely is that, when those threads at PUAHate were started, VincentVinturi was nothing here. He had very few posts to his name.* It seems unlikely a PUAHate poster would pick a newbie to steal his pictures, stalk his posts, and steal his content. That would like someone taking a name from page 18 of the member list at random. How many of those guys do you recognize?

*I just checked. He had just over 50 posts here when that "[Video] What's it like being a PUA's girlfriend?" thread showed up at PUAHate.

EDIT: Furthermore, that fails to explain other "coincidences," like his promotion of the sleep benefits of magnesium in both places, several months apart--in two very different ways. It also doesn't address his recent trolling, and extended history of self-promotion.

I don't think the self-promotion thing by itself is an issue.

For instance, I thought that McQueen was self-promoting a bit much at first, but then I checked out his material and his podcast and I'm glad that he self-promoted because otherwise I would have missed out on a lot of solid knowledge from a fresh perspective.

I even wish certain members self-promoted more, since I didn't even know about Fisto's blog STW (swoop the world) until recently, which has a style of article that I appreciate.

Of course it's an issue if someone comes in and they are self-promoting garbage, trying to push 3rd party products, or not otherwise contributing to the community. But I think we shouldn't be too cynical about members wanting to share their writing and material with others.

As for the disloyalty, it would help to know the timeline of these events. Was he talking shit and then later started to come correct? Or has he been unrepentant.

I've known a few players with his kind of "eyelash"/extreme-metrosexual style, and they tend to adapt more than girls' grooming habits, like their cattiness and backstabbing. If he is one of these guys then he will never change.

I've met VV in person several times. Never had any problems with him. Always seemed a stand up guy. Never went out drinking or anything together, but we've shot the shit here and there when we run into each other. I like the guy.

As far as the eyelash trolling, he probably wasn't trolling. I think he was serious. I didn't read the thread, but VV strikes me as the kind of guy who isn't interested in others thoughts on him, and is genuinely interested in helping others. If he thought curling your eyelashes helps, he'd probably share it with others.
