Saw this guy today walking around Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He was walking with another guy and they were both carrying a big bag. We walked in the same direction for a couple blocks and he hit on literally every single girl who walked passed us or was just standing with her friends. Shit like "I really like your shirt" and "you look incredible."

His look and personality were the same as from the video, and he did have a kind of drunken semi-homeless vibe. I don't know how much he pulls or how often he sleeps on cardboard but I'm 99% sure this wasn't a troll-job by Elite Daily.

There's a coworker of mine that is from NYC, and so I told him about this story. He then told me he was going to tell his friend, still in NYC, about this story.

Today is less than one week later. I was walking through the building and turned a corner and caught him looking into his phone, then look up and say out loud, "where is Fujiwara?!"

You see, the moment before, my coworker's friend sent him a picture of he and our Homeless player, Homeless player with a huge joint in his mouth. Similar observation as Wargasm's, even same place apparently, walking around W'burg.

Interesting clip: it looks like the fame of the homeless guy (Joe) got him into a situation to be able to address his multiple problems....... through the help of Dr. Phil and through the fact that homeless guy Joe seems to be willing and/or motivated to make such an attempt at getting helped.

It will be interesting to see if we get another update in 6 to 12 months about the status of the guy.

It seems to me that homeless Joe has an opportunity to become real famous if he can get a grasp over his substance abuse and psychological issues.. and then his situation could lead to a lot of future bucks.. especially given his already fame and his apparent charm.. he does seem kind of charming in his videos, and that likely helps his situation... though it seems that people close to him have really lost confidence and/or trust in him.. which is probably, in my humble bumble opinion, NOT a very good thing to lose when you are trying to build yourself and your self-esteem in a meaningful way.

I already made two comments in this thread when it was first posted but since this recent bump I want to add some perspective to this story for some of the younger more impressionable guys.

First, you have to understand that people lie. A lot. Ordinary, decent, taxpaying, god-fearing, hardworking people. Your friends, your neighbours, your relatives - everybody. And not just for money, but in their day to day lives, regarding even the most inconsequential shit. They will dress up, fabricate, exaggerate, omit, and conceal over the slightest flicker in status, impressions, standing. They lie not only to others but to themselves to gloss over the cracks in their ego and self-worth.

Men will lie as a matter of course when it comes to what defines their manhood: physical prowess, sexual conquests, life accomplishments. It is human nature. After all, wasn't this once the home of Mixx and GManifesto?

Now knowing all of that, we're presented with someone far from ordinary: A bipolar homeless alcoholic degenerate. And we're supposed to believe him... because he says so? LOL.

Holes are already apparent by the first 5 minutes of the Dr. Phil video. At 5:40 he's on a date and the girl (tranny?) is asking about his job for the first time. So let's see, here's a girl coming into a date knowing nothing about the guy, has a camera set up behind her, and who cuts short for whatever reason (cf. the predictable grandiosity: "If you gave me another hour, I'd have her in the fucking bedroom."). Yes, this guy definitely picked her up in real life. Can't be a set up by the TV show. Yep yep.

At 9:50 he confidently claims to make $150 a day on average. When Dr. Phil breaks down the math his instinctual puzzlement and ineffectual denial betrays the truth - he doesn't.

And my second point, apart from the talk on just lying... Does this guy look like the type to be a player to you? Like any Casanova you know? Yeah he's tall, white and hefty. So? Look at his (supposedly handsome) face, his mannerisms, and his body structure. I'm getting some serious gay vibes. He reminds me of Perez Hilton.

I actually somewhat believe his story. The guy does literally nothing but drink and socialize. He has abnormal amounts of time to pursue woman. You have to remember what you are probably picturing is that hes sleeping with a bunch of cute blondes and brunettes. Theres a good chance a lot if not the majority of the woman are subpar and vastly subpar in the looks department.

I agree that sometimes we need to take these stories with a little more grain of salt skepticism, and upon reflection, even though I may NOT believe him very much, I feel that I had been a little overly sucked into the story and the possibility of the story... ...

So, in essence, I agree with you, Civpro, even if there is a slim chance that he is really telling the truth about the material facts, there is likely quite a bit of lying going on, as well, that needs to be at least considered as a context for the various statements (and or depiction) of homeless Joe's presence status in life (supposedly on the streets).

Watch the follow ups. Round trip from his getting kicked out of home in Boston, then summer in NYC, winter in Austin, to seeing his mom again this guy spent way less than a year on the streets. Thus making the 150/year a projection (at best).

During the interview in Austin he renounces his bum-fuck life. Obviously it was fun for a few months. But unsustainable. He had one cute girlfriend in Austin but relapsed and lost it all.

What an all around unsustainable lifestyle. It's a mistake to focus on his daytime drunken lack of inhibitions + spam approach as anything valuable. That's not to be emulated.

If you are young, don't value your free time, and naturally have low inhibitions I could see doing this for one summer. Hopefully with a place/s to crash.

Even with a place to stay, going out that much in NYC is unsustainable. If you're not a crack head already you'll turn into one soon. How many successful PUA do you know who get hammered every day and fuck low quality girls?

Every city I live in I match with tons of fatties and ugly girls. I just unmatch them. I don't see how this guy fucking the same type of chicks is any accomplishment. People are just fascinated by the fantasy and glamorize the philosopher bum lifestyle.

When I was doing my (ahem) research in the field a few years back, I remember one dude who was pretty charismatic. He had a pleasant personality and not all bitter and twisted with a threat of menace that most homeless people have. He used to be a boxer as well and was in good shape. He had one of those boxer's noses and he wasn't bad looking, probably above average.

He disappeared for a couple of nights and we actually saw him getting a kiss goodbye from this very well dressed classy looking female. He told us all about it. She was a city lawyer and he had fucked her raw for the two days she had off work, then it was 'party over' time and back on to the streets. He didn't care. He was beaming, and what a story to tell.

It's the sort of story you wouldn't believe coming from a drunk on the street (most homeless drink for obvious reasons), but the fact that a few of us stood gob-smacked at his sudden reappearance, actually seeing him being given a peck on the cheek as she said au revoir to him. Well.

She was a blonde 8. She obviously had money. Many women in England do not know how to dress, and English women are the worst of all, but this lady had a touch of class to her. She didn't look like a slut, for sure.

He got a few hot meals and a hot shower, and a nice warm bed. He said that it wasn't the first time either. Yeah, he was full of himself, but good luck to him. Made me wonder what the fuck he was doing on the street though. Half of them aren't even homeless, the other half are on the run, the other other half just like to walk on the wild side now and again, slumming it for kicks. I generalise.

I met one lone-wolf who kept to himself (always do this if you do find yourself homeless) and he was a really nice genuine guy, not like the rest of the dregs. It was one of those nights where it was all getting a bit much and he took me back to this bloke's flat where he said we could sleep the night. Got a bit of food and a warm couch. He disappeared in to the bloke's bedroom. Nothing was said. I really don't know what went on. Who knows. He was a decent genuine bloke as well though, he gave me a few quid to get the tube back to where I had to go to. He didn't appear to be gay in his mannerisms. A black chap. Not that it matters. But it's little acts of kindness like this when you really need them most, that restore your faith in humanity as a whole. It's hard to betray that.

Living life on the edge is fun for a while, but I would recommend you don't get in to that mess in the first place.

But yeah, my homeless matey got lucky there again (the one who picked up the city lawyer). He certainly didn't act like it was a first, the cocky bugger. I liked him even though he was a rogue. Probably what the women liked about him as well. Homeless game recognized.

Talking of Taxis. There was a firm in Brixton who would pick you up, drive you round the block and serve you an eighth of blow (weed) and a bottle of rum (should you so wish), all at 4 am in the morning. They weren't cheap.

And talking of 'blow', I forgot to add, this 'lady' had picked this guy up trying to buy a bit of weed/hash. He was the 'dealer' on the block, so to speak. I remember this because he ripped me off for a ten-spot. He most certainly was the man. Service with a smile. I don't know if she was out looking to get fucked, but they ended up doing a couple of grams of coke over the weekend, so the story goes.

I did something like this in LA when I was in my early 20s

I said fuck this ridiculous rent. I lived on friends couches for one or two nights then went to a girls place for a few nights, then another girl, then a friend again.

I got the idea from a biography on Bob Dylan who would only stay on a couch a couple nights so he would never where out his welcome.

I drove a 1972 Cougar Convertable, lipstick red with white top, white interior. Crager wheels with big ass tires.

I had long curly hair a la Mathew McConahey (sp) so it fit the whole style.

That car got me laid so much.

Girls would see it and want to ride in it and I couldn't drive down the street without someone giving me a thumbs up.


I kept a packed suitcase in the trunk and had various other clothes scattered all over LA.

I showered at the gym I worked at (they also had razors, deodorant, hair gel etc.

A buddy of mine had a hollywood producer brother that had a house in beverly hills, we would both hang out there a lot, bring girls with us. We called them bubble whores, champagne and hot tub.

We would do lines of blow, then I'd feel guilty and insist on working out to make up for it.

We would then go running through the hills up as high as Mulholland Dr.

We called it the Cardiac Run.

I made it over a year and it was fucking awesome.
