jtbabycarrots; hi fellow citizen, I read through your post numerous times and I have not been sure if it applies to me or not.
I have come to the decision that it most likely is not the root of my anxiety. You are describing a person who is to reactive and hung up on past situations. I have been more on the other side; not reacting enough, letting people off to easy etc..
Have not had a drop of alcohol or a leaf of tobacco since 2013. Having my first coffee in 11 days in a coffee shop right now.
I actually feel a little better, the anxiety is more present, but in a good way. Most of the substances I use in day to day life I use to keep my anxiety on an arms length which makes it really difficult to get rid off.
