I second that. I am finding Russian girls more and more difficult, and this is coming from a native Russian speaker. Money is not a problem for Russian girls from big cities who have professional jobs and/or inherited expensive real estate from their families. If I were looking for Eastern European tail I would probably head to Belarus. Never been there, but from what I've heard from my friends, its "kind of like Thailand, except the girls are blond and have nice bodies". A word of warning though: these guys also speak Russian. I am going to respond to some criticism and answer some questions.
I do hang out around top quality girls who are also young, let’s say, under 25 y.o. I am a short dude in my late 30’s. Local girls seem to want to date their age or someone older provided he has money. They don’t know me and since I am not dressing flashy nor do I have a car – they assume I am just an average guy. And they are right! My standards are high and based off what I could get in SEA. If I was interested in average looking 29 y.o- I don’t need to travel for that and I am not that attracted to them anyway. I am shooting for an 8+ and under 25. I have talked to several 29-32 y.o women and they were the most friendliest and desperate to meet someone women! However, they would always make clear they are not looking for anything short term. Would I lie to a nice lady that I am looking for an LTR – hell no! I got more class than that. I tell them the truth and let them decide.

Foreigners who you call successful with Russian woman are known to fuck trash! Yes they hunt for low class, alcoholics in bars where a regular girl would not step her foot –ever! I have been in bars/clubs here with a group of my new friends- we would rent a part of the bar or some tables together- and I have seen the kind of girls who go there. I have also seen foreign dudes from Europe and the US in the clubs in Kiev flirting with women who are just lower class. I explained earlier that keeping reputation for those women is really important and sure as hell they are not going to get involved with someone they don’t really know, especially a foreigner.

I have been hanging out, flirting with several girls – it’s just I misjudged their interest in me. I do go out solo to socials but make friends fast – so I am never truly alone in the place. Ekatirenburg would be an upgrade compare to the city I am in but very similar. I dated a girl from Belarus and met many more people from there who live abroad. I also know that many Turks and Arabs visit Belarus to run game and get laid. I've never been there, but from what I know it is no North Korea.

Brodiaga, only the "blond and nice bodies" part is true. My cousin go's there on a monthly basis as he is in logistics business (trucking) and in his 20s so when not working he parties there and has shared plenty of stories from this year. First of all Belarus is not overrun by foreigners/tourists like Thailand, doesn't have the P4P problems Thailand does, prices are cheaper, and most importantly girls are very shy on average. If as a foreigner you expect to go to Minsk and use WGF towards your advantage you might leave disappointed. English fluency is much lower than UA or RU and that is due to the fact that it is relatively hard for Belorussian's to travel to the west (whether it is for business or pleasure) so the incentive to learn English is not as high as in other CIS countries...65% of trade is via Russia and only 35% is towards EU.
The country has also been overrun by rich Russians as other posters have mentioned here...many of them partying way harder than any of us could dream of as they are basically "at home".

Also nightlife is slim for a city of 2m...I bet you would find better gaming opportunities in Pattaya, Thailand (which is 18x smaller) than in Minsk. If all go's well I am planning on hitting Belarus this summer via Lithuania so hope to write an honest field report.

So how is it going so far in mother Russia? Well,I met a nice girl on a dating site, we went on a date – things seemed great! She is a solid 8 with a decent job. But I would say most of them are gold diggers as well and only looking to get out of the country for economic reasons. They are also not able to catch a local rich guy because of their sub par looks or age. So who wants a demanding, not good looking gold digger?
Time and time again I want to emphasize that I have not seen a foreign guy succeed with a girl who is not a semi pro. I saw guys hitting on a drunk 4s in a club in Kiev – which amazes me as they can do much better in their own countries.

For those who don't speak Russian, by "primelkalsya" I mean that people recognize you and you already have a reputation that could work against you when you approach girls. The response rate can be very high on that site.

It's quite rare that you cannot message a girl because her inbox is full, if that's a problem you can always get VIP status which bypasses this.

OK Wayout, at first I had high hopes for your thread and was even thinking that it could be similar to Slubu's with plenty of sarging stories, photo's, and data sheets.

But now your thread puzzles me. On the one hand you claim that you have 0 luck with women in a 3rd tier Russian city while speaking fluent Russian, dancing in the top 10% of all guys Salsa, and obviously being better off than the locals YET now you make an alpha comment that you banged 30 girls in just 4 years of college. That is a high number and if you really banged that many women at the age of 18-22 (I assume) then you should know by now how to pick one up no matter your location!
Shoot, when I was in college the only thing I was banging was statistics and accounting books. Some highlights of my Russian experience - continued!

I dedicated some time to online dating – I used to be very good at it back when I was in college. I noticed in many other threads that guys who come to a foreign country always pipeline and do very little cold approaching. I like approaching when I got the guts to do it but what the hell. This one got to me and not in a way I wanted. She added me on facebook first and messaged me a “thank you for dancing with me”. Turns out we danced one dance in a salsa club. One week forward – she is a dance instructor in one of the schools here – definitely high status female with the territory that come with it. She is a US 8+,about 25 y.o. Reminds me of Kim Kardashian looks wise. She is not the type I am attracted to ( I like Swedish blonds) – but I would bang for sure! She is playing this weird game: messaging me late at night asking where I’ll be dancing then actually showing up places where I am and not talking to me! ( Not true…but she is always dancing with someone else!) So this is why this is bizarre: she seems to be persuing me online but in real life she doesn’t even stop to talk! I am guessing she is afraid of gossip or she has a bf.

I don’t see any hookup culture here. Lower class Russians probably have it,but I don’t see the appeal of getting drunk in cheap bars and try to pick up drunk girls risking a fight at the minimum. All the people I met and been around are upper middle class and from what I see – everyone does long term dating.
I haven’t trying cold approaching due to anxiety – there is no way to put it. It’s gotten even worse lately. I might not be cut out for this. Thinking about going to Thailand in a month to actually get laid. I know it’s not going to be the same, I don’t even dig Asians. I think I need some pharmaceuticals to help me or see a doctor about my anxiety.
