I want to try out New York More but....

Well I am fucked for the day stacked meetings starting in 10 minutes LOL.

Positively, if you guys want to go to good parties you really can't go bad with the high end.

Le Bain: Thursday -Saturday
CATCH: on Monday

That's literally all the info you need, but more realistically. Just day game in soho and then night game in the meat packing district. Live within a 10 minute taxi ride and call it a life.

Come to think about it, NYC is basically a better version of a foreign country. You get internationals, logistics and cheap cost of living beyond rent.

The funniest thing I saw so far was some 50 yr/old dude macking on a 21 year old model... And she didn't run away.

LOL @ my iphone typing skillz last night, or lack there of. Awesome.

Funny you say that.

I was thinking there is another city in America where I would say the same thing.

On a other note, this is the only city in the world where you don't have to "know" the good spots. You just show up and don't hang out at mc Donald's. That's literally all the logistics you need, just common sense.

Yet again, game needed? "
Just land

----
Funny side note is that California ID game helped.

I think the "just land" is a little oversimplified, but I get your point you are trying to make.

I still think you have to know the right spots.

If so please drop name + day, you don't live here anymore so you can share the wealth : )

It's funny, the guys actually have weak ass game in NYC too, some dude closed last night (so I think, he left with a 6) and I was listening to him talk about the future of "printing". Shit you not that was his "game". She literally just looked at his outfit for 5 mins then must have said "ahh fuck it he is dressed well enough".

Even worse is the guy had a chocolate ice cream stain on his left wrist, I couldn't believe it.

Doesn't this all come down to cash?

If you don't have the cash, you can't have a good time at these hot spots in america.

I like places with more options for a western dude with a normal budget. This thread seems totally split.

^ I spend $75 a night. Including cabs etc.

2 vodkas $40 with tip
$10 drink for some chick
$20 cab.
$5 for a warm up beer in my room as I'm getting changed

That's it. Is that a lot? Seriously all you need is about $4K a month to do fine.

True. If you have a NY trip planned whether for leisure or work, just live below your means in the weeks heading into the Big Apple, haha.

Same can be said for Brazilian nightlife nowadays as the cost of everything is outrageous.

You can find just as many foreign girls in Tampa for a fraction of the price, and less competition. Don't tell anyone though.

Besides rent why is NYC expensive?

50k in Tampa is equal to 120k in Manhattan.

I don't live there.

But Raven on Thurs is pretty solid.

1oak on Fri and Sat.

SL on Friday.

Hit those up on my last trip there.

PH-D? Not sure, didn't hit that up on last trip.

Distantlight is the go to guy on NYC nightlife.

I don't know the move on Tues or Wed which I think would be key.

Restaurants, you have to know as well.

Not to mention private events, galleries parties, charity events and other assorted parties.

"Just land" is a way too simplistic. Although, like I said, I get your point.

Hell, I have double that before leaving the house.

Tampa is seriously worth it? I may actually hit it up this year.

Any cheap furnished month to month apartments? I could try it for a month.

Tampa versus NYC is a ludicrous comparison.

Are there modeling agencies in Tampa? Do they have nightlife every single day? Are there banging chicks walking around 24/7? Are the logistics literally within 5 minutes? Do chicks wear dresses?

Yeah rent is more expensive, and it gets cold in the winter. That's the only negatives I see.

If you're "on the fence" about NYC being a layup, back away from the monitor and practice the following pick up lines.

"Hello"
"Hey"
"Hi"

Game fixed.

I get your point but those "calculators" are screwed up.

It says if you make $350,000 in Miami it's like making $424,850 in LA.

Cities are too big to get an accurate reading.

If you go out two nights a week, that's over $7,000 a year. For two drinks and transportation.

$4k per month is equal to or more than many people's salary. Not hating, if you got it spend it.

But when you're comparing it to foreign countries, you're stacking it against the popular locations on the forum like the DR, SEA, and places in Central and Eastern Europe where $4k a month gets you top tier accommodation, maid service, whole bottles when you go out, eating out every single meal, etc.

Tampa is the crown jewel of the South. You can get by on 50k all day long, unless you sniff stuff off of mirrors. 50k would kill you in NYC. The women are hotter in Tampa without the attitudes.

@g yeah I can vouch for those spots. Wednesday is probably the hardest day in NYC.

Of course I am being facetious with "just land" but seriously on a numbers basis alone it's not even worth a discussion. 3:1 single chicks to single dudes. "Sex and the city vibe". Logistics are so easy you may as well be in her apartment already.

I drink significantly less because I get drunk easily now since I gained a good 15 lbs of muscle so in a single drink I am on tilt. Which is a good thing.

Honestly this cannot be a player forum
if there is debate on NYC being "good".

The only advantage I think I have is having decent one night stand game due to practice with the short clock in California.

No I don't drop cash
No I am not good looking (I attempted "online game" and lol at the 3's I was attracting)
No I don't "need" to go to high end night life, just go outside
No it is not expensive beyond rent: 1) cabs are cheap as fuck, 2) you got the subway, 3) you don't need a car, 4) you got 7 million deli's if you really need to cut down the cost

I feel sorry for people who have only gamed in NYC if you leave you may as well expect a 90% drop in quality and quantity.

To clarify I can do NYC at $4K a month including rent if I lived there so not sure what you mean by it is someone's salary.

Also, who cares about bottle service? Wtf? I don't need that just let me walk in.

I mean come on how much $ can you make in sea the DR or Eastern Europe? Nothing. Zero. Unless you run your own biz/online marketing.

So the cost is high argument is just stupid. If you have a job in NYC that's $80K a year right there.

My buddy is a doorman at the standard. He clears $125K... For Opening Doors. Let that sink in.

Of course those places are cheaper, but are they better?

Flip it around, would you go to Cebu if it was as expensive as NYC?

Doorman is actually a really good job in NYC...very hard to get. The most expensive part of NYC if you're visiting (and not there on biz with your company picking up hotel tab) is accommodations, otherwise cabs and subway are actually cheaper (and better) than DC. I had dinner at Jules Bistro (live jazz) (East Village?) and Tartines (Nolita), and I was actually surprised how CHEAP it was. So yeah, with some smarts NYC is not that expensive aside from renting a place.

@ g strong point.

What are you paying for exactly. Are you getting cheap accommodations at the expense of living in boredom 6 days a week?

Are you paying for ridiculously easy logistics with spots poppin off 360 days out of the year.

I feel like the "divide" on NYC is basically boring type A dudes and normal type B dudes.

Yeah if you're boring you're going to hate it. But then again you're boring so no one wants to kick it with you anyway.

Shit. You can work at a dive bar in the lower east side and be fine.

It's not economically viable to chase ass on your on dime in NYC. I dropped $25 on a plate of papusas and and a couple beers. Ridiculous.
