I met Reese Witherspoon a few years back at an industry event. Even then--with about five fewer years of wall--I remember thinking she's a bizarre-looking chick. She's really tiny, which is good, but that beefy chin of hers really protrudes down--way more than on TV. It's almost like she had a pharoah's beard, but made out of meat.

This is a prime example of how alcohol brings out a person's true self. She's a perfect example of the definition of "image" is - it's manufactured nonsense. Thing is, however, Reese actually was acting in a way that wouldn't have gotten her arrested 50 years ago (DUI didn't exist; obstruction of justice was far more limited in scope). It's only now that America is a total police state that she got arrested for this.

That's debatable. It's effects vary a lot for different people.
