The EPL is more competitive than La Liga, that's the point. The Bundesliga used to be competitive in the last seasons as well until the Bavarians won the league a few months before summer break with a 20 point advantage.

Where is the evidence for this? Define competitiveness in a league? Is it who win's the title? Why don't you tell me how many different teams have won the Premier League in the last 15 years and tell me how many different teams have won La Liga in the last 15 years? That would define competitiveness surely?

You're not even from the UK, how many premier league and la liga matches have you watched to give a comparison? I'm from the UK and from an argument perspective there would be a suspicion to bias on my part to support the Premier League due to it's national factor, however I'm not.

In regards to every10, players like Gomez, Robben, Goetze, Reus are great, but they're not the complete package.

Ronaldo and Messi, on the other hand, are. I'm talking about the kind of player that can take on 3 seasoned defenders and leave them humiliated, can withstand constant pressure and fouls, and score from literally anywhere on the pitch. Consistently.

These are the kinds of player, that even on their worst day, are better than the average player on the pitch.

While every once in a while they can be neutralized by clever (or dirty) tactics and sheer manpower thrown at them, I guess that's just confirmation that at the end of the day they're still human. Though I do doubt it sometimes.

Ronaldo was completely marked out of the game in both legs by the Bayern defense.

Oh and Ronaldo also flopped in the Euro 2012. The Germans completely neutralized him as well with a right back who isn't even a natural at his position. I won't even talk about his weak performance vs Spain.

My entire point since the last page was that there are other world class players in the world besides Ronaldo and Messi but most glory hunters can't accept that it seems. Anyways im out of this discussion.

Nobody is doubting this. What we're doubting is that any of these players who are BETTER than Ronaldo and Messi. There aren't. These two are going to spoken about along with Pele and Maradona, Philip Lahm will not, regardless of whether he nullified Ronaldo when they played. Heck, they'll probably occupy a space above Pele and Maradona. Ronaldo, as bojangles said, is one of the finest athletes in the history of sport in general and on top of that an extremely talented footballer. Messi is a top athlete and an exceptionally gifted footballer. You should be happy to be watching them in their era, rather than denying their greatness.

Nobody here has argued with you against this simple fact. Of course there are other World Class Players. It's just Messi and Ronaldo, currently top this list.

How does Bayern come into this conversation, they flopped in last years CL final and they were playing at home. Gomez missed some real easy chances and he is not even a top 20 player in Europe never mind the world. Bayern will flop again this year.
Talking about Lahm supposedly covering Ronaldo in one game is pointless, that is like me saying Balotelli owned Lahm in the semi finals of the Euro last year.

BUT, Messi was completely neutered in that match, admittedly. Don't see Dortmund getting past Madrid tomorrow though. They can, but don't see it. I think the aggregate after both matches will be minimal. I see a Madrid Bayern final with...I want Madrid, but my head says Bayern.
