I've been taking this on & off over the past year, ever since I first read about it (which I think may have been on this forum!). My feelings are mixed, although I haven't had any extremely bad experiences. I use the liftmode.com brand.

First of all, I've taken this stuff daily for almost a week at a time and had no withdrawals afterwards, but I've usually only taken it in small doses. The problem with this phenibut, in my opinion, is just getting the dose right. I've taken it with and without potentiators (grapefruit juice, alcohol), and the effects are almost always either way too strong or too weak. I've taken it at doses as low as 500 mg, and I've taken it at 5 grams (which caused me to throw-up violently for a whole day straight). Often when I take more than 2 grams, it seems like I get the most terrible spins, face and body feel overheated and prickly, fall asleep at the most random times, and just feel very light-headed and nauseous in general. Less than 2 grams, I usually feel a mild euphoria, at best. Strangely, I've felt kinda down a couple times I've taken it.

The few times I've taken an optimal dose (which was usually around 2 grams, but sometimes much higher or lower), I've felt great, almost a total lack of fear or nervousness about much of anything, and felt high energy levels.

Lately, in the past month or so, every other day I've been combining it (about 1 g) with kratom, a plant substance I've known about for years. The effects are mostly positive and they last about 4-5 hours, I would say. Used it a bit for gaming and I've had some positive results, mostly because approach anxiety felt somewhat lessened. Also very useful for exercise. I'd recommend this combination to the whole forum.

Mixing phenibut with other things isn't a good idea. Seeing as it increases the effects of everything you take while on it it could be dangerous I.e one beer felt like 3, one Valium felt like two, one red bull gets you amped. It would definitely make you feel better than worse but I wouldn't do any of the aforementioned substances more than 2-3 times a month. Phenibut hasn't been studied too much so it's effects and how it reacts with other things will vary considerably.

I wouldn't think so. Phenibut gives me the same type of feeling when I'm buzzed from alcohol and also gives me a similar hangover feeling when it starts to wear off.

It also makes me dehydrated like alcohol and whenever I did take it, I pissed way more than normal. I woke up with some crazy Charlie horses as well. I had to take at least 1g on an empty stomach to actually feel the effects. I'm still a bit concerned on the damage it does to ones health so I barely touch the stuff anymore.

No way...cocaine produces anxiety and nervousness on its own. Coupled with alcohol is a different story.

Yes, when I used it in the past it was great for that. Now it just gives me anxiety and restlessness though.

Try following the Good Looking Loser's instructions to a 'T'..(ie .Empty stomach...wait 45 minutes, etc.....) If you still get nothing, or if it just gives you headaches, then it might not work for you...

I use it for writing, I feel more lucid, articulate and confident when I use 1200 mg... but then I guess those are the same effects you want for game, so..

Also, I hear it's extremely addictive after even a couple weeks' use. I only use it twice a week, max.

made a mistake with a phenibut. In the past I would follow the typical instruction of taking it on an empty stomach in the morning ( 1g).

Yesterday I took 1 g after dinner for anxiety. Well I puked 3 times in the last 12 hours and will probably continue to puke more.

Glad this thread was brought back. Bought some phenibut a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to try some. I'm hoping I can use this instead of alcohol to get laid.

I'm aware that it hits different gabba receptors than alcohol, so how much should I start taking? I usually would drink about a bottle (700ml) of hard liquor on a night out.

Phen is alright in light doses. As a drug it's just a crutch, it will fix nothing on it's own. I like all gaberginic drugs, but it just masks the properties of your true self.

The sooner you figure out why you are taking drugs and fix those issues the better off you are. Drugs are just a band-aid you put on when you think that you can't hack it on your own. It's better to ammend that kind of thought that taking drugs.

Don't get me wrong, I still do it every one in a while.

honestly im starting to agree with your sentiments about fixing the issues that youre trying to mask with drugs. I stopped vomiting after number 4 but I realized that I need to work on inner game rather than resort to chemical substances.

Trying to take the short cut has led me to phenibut, kratom, other nootropics, alcohol and LSD. I can control my doses, but none of these things have gotten rid of my approach anxiety. Inner game is the real issue.

I get better results using this and other anxiolytics. Approaching isn't a problem either way but is easier with, and if I'm going out just to pick up I'll often take something. My vibe and body language are better allowing me to focus more on other things. It can be a crutch or it can just be a complement, all in how you use it.

I just took phenibut for the first time last night.

I had high hopes for this, was hoping I could use it as a cheaper and healthier alcohol replacement. I was dissapointed.

I took 7-8 capsules, which works out at 1.75 - 2.00 grams. I do believe it had some minor effect but it didn't do much. I felt so sober I needed a few drinks afterwards and I still felt sober even after that.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place here, I want to get laid but I don't want to drink. Is it really a catch 22?

I'm gonna take phenibut again when going out tommorow and up the dosage a little, as well as taking it a good few hours before I head out.

2nd phenibut report.

Went out again last night, upped my dose to 5 grams and took it at 6pm before I went out around 11. According to what I've read online 5 grams is really pushing it in terms of dosage but I said fuck it at least if it doesn't work now I won't take it again.

In short the phenibut had 0 effect on me, although I do think that it makes alcohol hit you abit harder (had 3 beers later in the night).

I was pissed off that I'm completely immune, but I'm not ready to give up yet. Done some more reading and discovered that my Phenibut was HCL but you can also get FAA which is the purest form. I'm going to order some and give it one last shot.
