If you were dictator of America, what laws would you change?

16 years ago, my old buddy and I decided the following: Any woman with a BMI over 25 would get a fix-it ticket. As long as they could show 20 or more minutes of treadmill use per day, they would not have to pay a fine. They would also have to demonstrate a reasonable diet (usually, by showing their weight going down).

I would add to that list: There's a very simple solution to the college sexual abuse problem. We will not allow pre-marital sex in college. Accusations of sexual abuse would be trivial to resolve: If a college student has sex and is not married to their partner, instant expulsion. If two college students have sex with each other outside of marriage, we don't ask who raped who. We expel both of them, unless one of them can demonstrate the sex was non-consensual by having the partner found guilty in a court of law (you know, a real court with police, judges, lawyers, cross-examinations, etc.) of rape.

I would eliminate no-fault and get-rich-free divorces. Sex and marriage should be a lifetime commitment. That in mind, divorce will only be allowed for adultery (and only by the partner who isn't sleeping around), abuse (physical abuse, where we only allow divorce if the husband is found guilty of spousal abuse in a court of law), and addiction (conviction for possession of marijuana or any illegal substance, public drunkenness, DUI would all be reasons for the other partner to divorce).

I will bring up only one economic idea: increase the taxes on the 1% and spend the money on a national work program. I like the idea, earlier in this thread, of building a national high-speed railway system.

I also like the idea that a woman is not allowed a smart phone until she 1) Marries 2) Has one or more kids

That's one thing that's so different about America compared to Europe, the railway system. It's always been an interest of mine, how underdeveloped it is. That, and how behind America is in regards to banking... specifically chip and pin / contactless payment cards, the acceptance of cheques in stores etc. Some of my American friends mention it on facebook etc when they come to Europe.

I’d start by:

1. Repealing the 16th
2. Reinstating the posse commutative act
3. Abolish the fed and fractional reserve banking
4. Deal with immigration and use lifeboat strategies. Get our own employed before bringing in more thirsty foreigners to further deprecate our wages and destroy whole industries.

If I was God Emperor of Australia, my first decrees would include:
  • Voting rights will be tied to a voluntary period of military¹/ or a longer period of unpleasant non-military service. This would make it that only those who value the country can direct it, serving together would build trust and 'philia'(brotherly unity) between the different cultural and ethnic groups of Australia. It'd give people a way out of the unemployment trap. It'd reduce the power of the female vote whilst not discriminating on gender. Refresher training a weekend a season with a 'readiness' test temporarily disenfrancising the obese until they slim down.
  • Single sex education. Too many otherwise talented boys are discouraged by the co-educational dynamic. Teaching could be a non-military service option for male graduates.
  • We should adopt the Japanese immigration system. Strict, but it allows a path to citizenship and does not deport the children of permanent residents when they turn 21 like in Taiwan. Maybe only allow veterans to get spousal visas.
  • We should fully adopt the American "right to free speech", Australia isn't too bad right now, but recent events in the similar culture of Britain show case law protections don't go nearly far enough
  • The right to purchase property or companies for foreigners and non-natural citizens should only be reciprocal on the rights they give Australians in their home countries.
  • I generally despise racism, but if there was a way to ban Jewish people from the admissions departments of universities, it could lead to a fairer and more effective system.
  • End social media censorship of political ideas and 'hate speech', it gives big walled-gardens too much power.
1) As to what a relatively safe country like Australia could do with its military, Peacekeeping might work, it'd be cost-neutral and dispel any illusions young Australians would have about shit-holian culture.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the first thing that popped into my mind: Making it illegal for women to get tattoos.

Maybe if I was feeling very liberal, I'd let women have small tattoos in hidden areas. But I think on the whole, tattoos have desecrated the female body, which is probably why our overlords at MTV push them. They'll do anything to wreck classic femininity.

I also don't get the "Women need tattoos to be sexy" line that I hear from various women and "bad boy" types. Anyone who pushes this 1). Subconsciously hates the natural female form and 2). Has never seen a Playboy spread from the 1970s.

Monetary reform. That is the single biggest issue. I would end the Fed and replace it with a National Bank under the control of the Federal Government, I'm not sure yet about a gold standard, that doesn't seem to have much effect on being able to manipulate currency, you can simple change the exchange rate of dollars to gold. either way a government with direct control of the currency can simply pull money out of circulation to control inflation.

Corporate law reform. It wasn't until the 1880's with the Trans-continental railroad that corporations were allowed to exist in perpetuity. Before that corporations would only exist as long as their charter stated, which was usually until the project, such as constructing a bridge, was completed. In some cases they would exist until the death of its last founding member. At which point its assets would be sold off to smaller companies and the profit used to pay off debts and line the pockets of shareholders. This would allow smaller companies to grow and increase competition and limit monopolies.

A smaller but better equipped military, with an emphasis on the Navy and Air Force. Mandatory conscription would allow for a rapid mobilization of the population in the case of large scale conventional wars.

A robust foreign policy based on realpoltiks. We think before we act, have a plan in we have to go occupy a country. We would avoid long term entangling alliances. Our greatest weapon is cultural, we wouldn't go out seeking monsters to destroy but serve as an example for countries to look up to. We would not refrain from protecting our interests though, and if someone decides to imprison or terrorize American citizens abroad we would not hesitate to act in the same way Rome was oft to back in the glory days of their empire.

On domestic policy, leave the social issues to the States. Crack down on political groups that use disruptive tactics. Encourage classical architecture. Focus on industry with tax incentives and removal of unnecessary regulations. Give tax credits to companies that use environmentally friendly practices. To combat pollution, simply enforce common law that require companies to pay for damages done. Ban GMOs and other chemicals used in food. Encourage the use of heirloom seeds in agriculture and tax incentives to diversify crops instead of the massive influx of nutritionally worthless feed corn. Encourage homesteading and homeschooling.

Strict enforcing of immigration laws and a return to the quota system that was in place for most of the nation's history. Emphasize only allowing people with something to offer in terms of education or trade into the country.

Those are the major points I believe.

Edit-One more thing, a coordinated and tightly controlled military operation targeting the Bilderberg Group once it meets again in the United States targeting U.S. officials under the Logan Act, and the searching and seizing off the assets of certain families in the United States know to have ties to foreign interests and round table groups. My guess is if the homes of certain Old Money families with assets in the Untied States were raided a lot of revealing things would come up. Art that has been missing for centuries, records, evidence of secret societies and underground meetings and coordination.

My dear boy. Embrace your inner shitlord.

I would reinstate the right of free association. If you cannot choose who you wish to associate, live, do business with, you are not free. No more forced gay wedding cakes.

As the American Fuhrer, I would eliminate zoning laws in all cities and neighborhoods where liberals live in, particularly limousine liberals. I would mandate that there be no restrictions on the construction of affordable housing as well as shelters for refugee immigrants as well as homeless in areas that limousine liberals live in. For example, I would force Californians to accept that measure that failed in their legislature that raised the height limits on building near mass transit system. Only I would mandate that there be NO height limit on such construction. I also mandate that there be no restrictions on where mass transit lines are built (e.g. out to Santa Monica, up the Malibu Coast, and throughout the area around Beverly Hills). Likewise, I would terminate any zoning restrictions in the Bay Area with regards to construction of high rise residential and commercial buildings everywhere as well as the construction of new train lines and freeways. I would mandate that any voting district where the majority of voters support increased immigration, provide housing and other amenities for those immigrants in their own neighborhoods and regions.

1. Only male military veterans may vote.
2. Abolish prisons. If you commit a crime and can be reformed - public flogging. If not - execution.

Stop letting Israel and Saudi Arabia dictate our foreign policy

Stop spending ~$800 billion a year of our tax dollars on "defense"

Use some of those tax dollars on things that benefit society like infrastructure, heavily subsidized college/healthcare, scientific research, ect.

Humanely sterilize dumb / lazy people

Decriminalize most drugs, legalize weed and psychedelics

Heavily shame/stigmatize voluntary obesity

Require intense foreign language education starting in first grade

Make it much harder to obtain a driver's license and a gun

Prosecute the shit out of bankers who manipulate the economy and steal wealth from the middle class

Make sure veterans are completely taken care of for life

Give nuclear power a real chance

Agreed with everything but the driver's license and a gun part.

Man lots of people really don't like the Fed in this thread (I don't either). So yes disband the Fed and out their board.

Fake News law: Everytime any MSM channel has to retract their fake news it must pay a fine and a random celebrity that promotes the fake news must strip down into undergarments and dance for 30 seconds on live TV.

If you are Jewish (defined as having a Jewish mother) you are restricted to manual labor (as well as your children, their children 2 generations removed from Pharisees have freedom restored) so you can experience a hard days work. Also no investments, you can park your money in a zero interest bank account. Also no passport so you can't leave the country and plot some elders of Zion shit.

Gay sex brings a sentence of solitary confinement, but you can speak to a priest to pray away the gay.

Putting on the dictator hat again.
  • Ban pet ownership for the under 40s unless they are parents, infertile or orphans.(Too many people use pets as a lazy substitute for chlidren)
  • Universities should be forced to be guarantors of their students' debt. (This should make things more useful in the real world, and stop bloat)
  • Don't give antidepressents to the overweight or isolated. Create activity programs and public gyms instead.)
  • Make social media only show updates once every 24 hours.(This'll help fix human interactions)
  • Force any Media retractions/corrections to be the most prominent part of a website/newspaper/show. (This should cut down on fake news)
I'm trying to think of a way how to incentivise more smart women to have babies and for their parents to take care of them, but it escapes me how.

Easy:

-Remove most laws and regulations.
-Immigration only for women under 25 and with a good BMI.
-Women are not allowed to work.
-Ban most of taxes. A 5% VAT (consumption) is all politicians can manage.

Repeal 19th Amendment (duh)
Revoke the The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965
Amend 14th Amendment to explicitly ban birthright citizenship
Get rid of the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause

My brother is doing exactly this. He married his college girlfriend and they both make six figures, while my retired parents watch their toddler granddaughter from 9-5 and they love it. Its the perfect system.
