The manosphere is getting increasing hate

I think the increasing hate is to be expected. Whether or not Roosh or the manosphere go looking for fights with feminists and their followers, we will come under more scrutiny. I have been a part of other game forums since 2008 (the ones run by Mystery and Savoy), haven't visited them in a while though. The difference between Roosh/manosphere and the game forums is that those exclusively focus on game and game related theories. Even their everything else sections are more about current events and pop-culture and what not. Rarely they did have threads regarding feminism or any other stories where men were getting shafted. Even though feminists are aware of those forums they don't view them as serious threats. Hell Mystery went on one of those late night shows (Jimmy Fallon or Jimmy Kimmel with Jessica Alba, Savoy went on the Tyra Banks show etc.

This forum and other manosphere members not only help men learn about game concepts but they also expose, discuss, critique, and criticize feminism and the negative impact it has on men. They also provide their readers with a forum to distribute stories and examples of double standards with cheating, alimony, and just general stuff you see everybody these days in society that most men choose to ignore or think that it's "normal".

Furthermore, Roosh will be a bigger target within the manosphere especially since he's the most vocal, well-known, and a force behind a lot of men who are on the same page. Some other poster mentioned heartiste and his tweets sometimes that link to extreme right-wing sites. I think that's also a reason that he won't be as big of a target and Roosh will be. I don't know about you guys but I actually used to read Roissy before Roosh and found out Roosh through him. Ever since Roissy was deleted and recreated as Heartiste his ratio of game to politics is almost 50/50 and some of it is extreme right-wing. He alienates a lot of people with that and other sites similar to heartiste where HBD is a big part of the conversation will never become as potent as Roosh's forum and site.

I wouldn't be surprised if this forum gets discussed in the main stream media in the near future.

Especially with Tyler making that recent video about all girls being whores

Where's this?

Don't recognize him, but he talks like a girl.

Tyler says some good stuff in this vid, but I don't like how he tolerates a girl bringing up her past sex experiences to the guy. Girls should keep it to themselves. He should be teaching guys how to be so cool that the girl wouldn't dare bring that shit up around him.

He's the biggest guy in the PUA business. You wouldn't pay $3,000 to be taught by him?

Roosh, together your two books Bang and Day Bang cost less than $40.00 paperback total (via Amazon), and give far more value and knowledge than any multi-$1k PUA coach could probably ever aspire to. I think that's a solid testament of the quality content you bring to the table.

That said, I think your story is pretty amazing. Legit job and university education, wrote a book, took off to South America for six months, comes back, writes another book, then hits the road again and been at it ever since. Hell of a journey, I bet. I know you've said that what we read is 15% of your life.

Nonjudgmental game. Wasn't Tyler the one with 'secret society' game? That mindset works.

That article is retarded. The author attempts to discredit the manosphere as a whole and then posts the statistic above. He even uses the term "pseudoscience" when referring to NLP.

NLP is a bullshit pseudo-science. Let me anchor that in your mind with this magical hand wave [Image: wave.gif] Game on the other hand has quite sound scientific underpinnings.

While NLP certainly is psuedo-science (just like game) it's ironic you would take anchoring as an example which is one of the most commonly cited conditioning techniques in existence. Game has techniques that are credible and some not so credible, again just like NLP.

I see that was your first post. Coming in and throwing around those kind of assertions is definitely not the best way to start out at a forum.

No doubt.

$3,000 - $500 airfare to the DR = $2,500 left over

Even budgeting $100 per day, that's more than three weeks in poosy paradise.

The general rule is that you will always come out ahead by provoking a rhetorical fight or argument with someone or some group in a superior position to yours. This is because if that person or group chooses to acknowledge your attack and respond, they have essentially elevated you on to their platform. They have made you their equal by acknowledging you as an opponent.

I take it you've read the 48 Laws of power? Laws 5: Reputation is Everything and Law 6: Court Attention at All Costs. Roosh's post hit on those two and worked nicely.[/code]

Posting in a roosh thread.

But seriously, game and the entire manosphere helped me understand myself and women at another level.

Before game here is the most beta shit I did/put up with:

- let a gf walk all over me like a doormat because we had a kid
- put the pussy on the fucking moon
- thought all women cared for me as much as I cared for them
- spent money on women needlessly because I thought they would appreciate it
- treated women as though all of them were virgins who never even thought of having more than one sex partner

Game is therapy for guys raised on fucking Disney movies. The manosphere details women's actions, not their thoughts. Every single day I work around women and I'm constantly being reminded of dalrock and rationalemale and it's not a coincidence

I don't understand the unwarranted hate towards Tyler. Maybe it's because I see Tyler a different way than most members here. I think the reason I like Tyler is that I can tell that the dude puts in WORK. I saw a video of him giving a lecture about his book Blueprint, and he was this fat guy with greasy looking long hair, who dressed like shit. On top of that, he was a awkward giving his lecture, and it didn't really give too much helpful advice on women. Fast forward a couple years and the content from his free tour videos are of much higher quality, and he's significantly less awkward talking in front of people. Also, he lost weight, improved his wardrobe, and got a haircut. The dude made massive improvements on multiple levels over a couple of years. For that, I give him major props. The guy doesn't stand still. I'd say the same for Roosh. The quality of Roosh's content has only improved over the last year and half that I have been following him. That's why I'm willing to listen to both Roosh's and Tyler's advice when it comes to life and women.

I can see that Tyler is a little weird, but that's part of the reason why I like the guy. Personally, I can see in the way that he talks, and how he has these moments of intensity, he's experienced some fucked up shit in his childhood. That's another reason why I like the guy. I've just recently come to terms with the fact that I will never be truly normal because I've had some fucked up shit happen to me as a little kid, so I can relate to his intensity and how he's a little odd. At the very least, Tyler represents someone to me who can take a dark past and the obsessive thoughts that come with it and turn that wild intensity into something positive and good.

That's my defense for Tyler. I don't see myself becoming part of RSDnation, and I can understand why Roosh rips on the guy from time to time (he's some of Roosh's biggest competition). But ultimately, I can see that Tyler puts in some serious effort, and for that I give him props.

There is a lot of bullshit in and around NLP but the fact is that it's possible to do social engineering, I mean make the bad good and the good bad just by manipulating the language. Take a public figure or concept, give the populace their 2 minutes of hate, get the new views to be taught in college and in a few years the change will take place without you even noticing it.

Wow that's Tyler Durden?

I think he's a far better writer than speaker. I guess this goes for most talented guys.

He didn't come across as very cool... I didn't get the impression of a guy with enough self-esteem he was willing to make you wait for him to finish - instead he seems obsessed with the idea of creating an impression, talking fast, yada yada yada.

But I still remember that Secret Society article. That was good stuff.

And completely agree. Never judge a girl, or another person for that matter, to said person's face. Unless said person asks you to. It's bad politics and just gets people upset.

Note: I do it all the time, and it's the habit I hate the most about myself!

A year from now you'll wish you started today
