For some women at least the aim might be 'the most and best sex possible', while this forum implies something pretty different, a desire for quantity of partners regardless of quantity and quality of sex. Am i missing something here?

As I contended here, your explanation is correct. They are generally incapable of comprehending, accepting and understanding the male imperative when it comes to sex. They do not want to hear about what men must generally do to become good with women (read: EFFORT), and would much prefer to cling to the fantasy of the effortless alpha.
Western women are usually much worse when it comes to this, but nearly all women are generally unable to process/accept this reality. That's just how it is.

I cant speak for all the forum members but my general rule is to have sex and if the sex and the vibe are really good and we seem to connect to one more levels then only sex, then I have no problem seeing the same girl more then once. If the sex and the overall vibe between us is bad, then i move on quick. This is no different from a girl I meet in a club/park/shop/bus where ever I meet her.
