Overview
The latest round of Aussie RVF meetups was a great success. It brought a bunch of like-minded blokes together for some engaging yarns, big laughs, and backstories as courageous as they were revealing. Cheers fellas.
There was also a bonus on my end, if you know what I mean **nudge nudge wink wink**. I was buzzing off the group's energy so decided to kick on with some help from N1ght0n3arth, just to get blown out hard by a handful of utterly average girls. This encapsulates why, with the rare exception such as the main meetup night, I've been over night game since 2011. Still, I persisted and in the end got a SNL with this fun little cutie who was over a decade younger than me, as N1ght0n3arth and StrikeBack saw in person.
I've known for many years that such pleasure is very fleeting and quickly forgettable, so I'll highlight a more meaningful experience from the prior evening: a re-connection with a generous sweetheart who N1ght0n3arth and Bizet met. Despite the perverse cultural and tech-based forces beyond my control - along with all the personal concerns that weigh on my shoulders at times - she reminded me that such lovely women exist; and thus reminded me to stay optimistic, focus on the wins, and to never give up on my ambition to spark and shape a relationship with a traditionally-oriented woman for the purpose of starting a family.
NOTE: As always, all descriptions of members are made in broad, non-specific terms in order to guarantee anonymity. One or more of the following members may not be Australian or have met up in Australia.
N1ght0n3arth*
N1ght0n3arth has been a close friend of mine for a while now and still has my back. He is a thoughtful guy with lots of passion, humour, and a solid set of ethics. If we're talking culture and women, he has immense insight into Japan and is a stealth player with Japanese girls in particular. On the game front, he has helped me to get laid several times and introduced me to some nice ladies. Welcome to RVF bro.
Kragic*
We didn't get to talk that much beyond game, however I can confirm that Kragic is a young guy who is highly motivated to get out there, day or night, rain or shine. He does not hesitate to approach, ever.
*I referred Kragic and N1ght0n3arth to RVF.
Ikemen
Met this bloke several years ago in Japan, where he was doing well. Hope to meet again sometime. Unfortunately I lost some treasured contacts in the pickup/men's community when several private groups closed shop a few years ago.
Kizman
Our chat was pretty short however it was easy to see that he is a friendly, good guy. He has youth on his side and I'd like to hear more of his tales from exotic places I've never been to. He is also doing great in his career. Keep hustlin cuz.
-eWf
Didn't get a chance to talk with -eWf for long. What I can say, is that he seems to have had tremendous success with banging around, especially for a man of his youthful age. I think it would have to take some kind of superwoman to lock him down. Despite our apparent difference in winging philosophy, I look forward to giving it a shot next time.
Matt Warner
Matt Warner is a mature gentlemen who has, in essence, got to the final level in game. Put another way, he has a family legacy that will live on. He is also remarkably positive and lively for his age. Here's to hoping I have his mojo when I'm his age. I was happily surprised by his generosity too - cheers for all the drinks!
Bluey
Bluey is a genuine, stoic bloke who is unflinchingly open about his journey so far. In addition to this candid reflection, I respect his efforts to connect with fellow members offline even before we had met. As an aside, he is the kind of bloke you want to have on
your side when any sh*t goes down. Solid.
PixelFree
I first became aware of PixelFree through one his threads, which really resonated with me in regards to 'the good girl who got away'. Later, we chatted more and the realness was evident - no pretension here. When we met up, he brought a friendly vibe and didn't hesitate to share his mindset of appreciation. Lastly, well, I have to say that he has some serious talent on his team. In the words of Borat - very nice.
Jumbo Tron
This bloke knows how to have a laugh. With a great sense of humour, Jumbo Tron is a well-established, experienced bloke with plenty of enthusiasm to share. He also helped me with intel on local joints and informed my choice of venue for the meetup. Although we didn't get a chance to chat much in private, I sense that he has a lot to offer and anticipate chatting more shortly.
Juan_Antonio
Juan_Antonio caught my attention with his first post - a detailed introduction that demonstrated effort and thoughtful, open reflection. Following that we had some good chats and met up for real. To summarise his vibe in two words: absolute PIMP. There was also a tangible 'wow' moment when I saw his girlfriend - dammmn. With this in mind, it is particularly notable that Juan_Antonio is a soulful guy that is down-to-earth and friendly.
Bizet
I first stumbled across the name of Bizet when he started his own approach log at RVF. Taking note of his consistent action, I offered my feedback and in turn he demonstrated a considered, open-minded response - always encouraging to see. My first impression of Bizet in real life was that of a sharp, enthusiastic conversationalist. Indeed our chat was rapid fire and flew by fast.
We went to a couple of venues and Bizet had them on lock through his social network. This guy has been on a hot streak for a while now, and it seems he only needed a few small tweaks to his game to start kicking goals with consistency. He even pulled a same-night lay a few hours after we met. I take all credit for the inspiration
StrikeBack
I had a great gym session with StrikeBack, a man with a wealth of knowledge on exercise physiology backed up by plenty of practical tips. He really helped me with some of my form and I was impressed by the level of detail and care underlying his advice. Beyond lifting, we had a great chat about relationships and a range of associated concepts such as the importance of positive energy, the nature of masculinity, the necessity of leadership and more.
Strikeback has done very well for himself, epitomizing a number of sought-after ideals at RVF (physically, mentally, vocationally, and relationship-wise). If his approach in the realm of dating may seem easier said than done on occasion, I can nonetheless confirm that his advice is drawn from carefully-considered and extensive experience - with great results to back it all up - rather than the kind of fantasy-driven speculation or half-baked simplifications so commonly found online. In summary, he is the real deal.
StrikeBack has also contributed a lot to RVF over the past 5 years, for instance on the following:
